"Email_Client_Unsubscribe" "List-Unsubscribe-Post"

Hello,

How is it possible that "Email_Client_Unsubscribe" is arriving if "One-Click List-Unsubscribe" has not been configured as indicated in https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/deliverability-learn/deliverability-best-practice-guide/a...

Greetings

Correct! This is the older post style unsubscribe, which does not meet the new requirements.

It isn't super hard to get the one click POST off the ground using the files that Adobe have provided - you should be able to get it in place and tested by June.

It would be due to the recipient clicking on the "unsubscribe" link provided by the email client, which sends an email back to your campaign instance requesting unsubscription.

This is set up out of the box I believe:

When you've got it set up, the one click unsubscribe leverages the same email client provided link, it just pushes a POST request to your instance instead of an email.

Thank you very much for the reply

And to what email address do you send that email? In the email headers I don't see any list-unsubscribe mailto configuration

It's a technical mailbox, not actually something that you have (or should have) any real control over - Campaign just handles it all for you in the background.

I know there's a bunch of ways to set up the email list unsubscribe - may be in the SMTP headers section of your email templates or also could be handled by typologies.

So from what I understand, what is being done is not what some ISPs are going to ask for starting June 1, and you have to correctly configure "One-Click List-Unsubscribe" with the "List-Unsubscribe-Post" header.
