Last Touch Channel by tracking code

Avatar

Level 1

When i look at a breakdown of last touch channel - Direct by tracking codes , I can see some tracking codes that belong to our paid campaigns. Is that normal or are the processing rules all messed up?

Hi Naveen,

It is not recommended to breakdown the LTC report by the Tracking code report.

The tracking code have their own persistence and expiration that can associate with other LTC values as well.

The correct way would be to break it down by Last Touch Channel Detail report. Assuming you are capturing the tracking code in the LTCD, this will give you the correct view.

Hope this helps.
