How many Merchandising evars can be used at any one time?

I know that the limit used to be 5, but we have used up to 10 for a specific client, and have another client who is likely to exceed that. Does anyone what the limit is?

Hi Judy,

I think there's no limit now, you can ask ClientCare to enable as many as you want. However to be 100% sure, it is always good to confirm with ClientCare while you contact them via phone, chat or email. You can also contact your company's account manager.

Hi, Akhil,

What we want to confirm is how many eVars can a client enable in the report suite as merchandising. In the past we were limited to 10.

Hi Judy,

  • Your core JavaScript file's version determines on how many eVars are available to you:
    • G7 code and earlier: 20 eVars
    • H21.1 code and earlier: 50 eVars
    • H22 code and later: 75 eVars

Ryan is right there is no more limits. You can enable as many as you want smiley.

On top of that you do not need to contact ClientCare to enable it anymore, you can do it straight from the admin console.

I checked all that with ClientCare as I was wondering the same lately.
