I submitted the concern to ClientCare that we are seeing different results in the Data Warehouse monthly page view report from what we see in the SiteCatalyst report.
The response was ...
"In rare cases, Data Warehouse may report a higher number of site-wide (i.e., non-segmented) page views than SiteCatalyst reports for the same date range and report suite. These cases may occur where no page name or page URL data is passed in a certain number of page view image requests from your site, but where conversion data (eVar values, custom events, etc.) is passed. In these cases, SiteCatalyst excludes the page view associated with such a hit due to a lack of critical information (while still processing the conversion data). Data Warehouse, however, will report the page view regardless of the missing page name and page URL data."
We would like to see Adobe address this discrepency!
