Description -

Currently, when using "flows" in Adobe Analytics or CJA, you are limited to using only individual dimensional items one at a time.  It would be super helpful to be able to use a hit-based segment so that you can see flows into a "group" of items (ex: a group of URLs).

Why is this feature important to you

Scalability, it will allow the user to see more macro flow visuals.

How would you like the feature to work -

Allow hit-based segments to be dropped into "flow" displays.

drag segments into flows.pngsegments in flows.png

Current Behavior -

You can only include individual dimensional items.

Description -

In flow displays, allow grouping of pages or other dimensions instead of just a single dimensional item.  Can also allow starts with, ends with, combined, etc.

Why is this feature important to you -

This will allow users to see flow views out of multiple pages.  This will provide a more encompassing view for pages and dimensions that are better understood as a group.  Ex: blog pages or product pages that share the same template

Current Behaviour -

You need to look at a single dimensional item at a time.  But for fallouts, we already have this functionality.

Hello everyone,

Description -

The idea of enhancing flow displays by allowing grouping of pages or other dimensions is crucial in today’s data-driven environment. By enabling functionalities like "starts with," "ends with," or even combining different dimensions, users can gain deeper insights and have a more holistic view of their data. This feature would be invaluable for users managing blog pages, product pages, or any content that shares common templates.

Why is this feature important to you -

Such an enhancement would allow users to visualize and analyze multiple pages collectively, rather than being limited to single-dimensional items. For example, grouping similar blog or product pages can provide a more complete understanding of user interactions and content performance. This is particularly important for identifying trends, patterns, or issues that might be overlooked when analyzing pages individually.

How would you like the feature to work -

In flow displays, the ability to group pages or dimensions would function similarly to the existing fallout functionality but with additional flexibility. Users could define groups based on specific criteria, such as URL patterns or content types, and visualize the flow across these groups. This would simplify the analysis of content performance and user behavior.

Current Behaviour -

Currently, users are restricted to analyzing one-dimensional items at a time, which can be limiting, especially when dealing with content that naturally belongs to a group. Although fallouts provide some grouping functionality, extending this to flow displays would greatly enhance data interpretation and decision-making processes.

In our increasingly digital world, managing unwanted noise—both literal and metaphorical—on our computer systems is essential for maintaining focus and productivity. Just as you’re seeking to eliminate noise in your data analysis by grouping similar items for a clearer view, Windows users can benefit from managing digital noise on their systems. This is where WinNoise comes in—a comprehensive solution for controlling and minimizing noise on Windows systems. Whether it's reducing distractions during work or optimizing system performance, WinNoise helps users create a more pleasant computing experience, much like how improved flow displays can make data analysis more intuitive and insightful.
