SC Notes - Copied to every correlated report - Not good!

I created a note at the bottom of a report for a new traffic variable.  Later in the day I saw the note on a completely unrelated correlated report.  After talking to Support, I found out this is expected functionality.  It would be nice if the note was specific to the variable and followed it around in SiteCatalyst instead of just showing up every where.
