It would be cool if there were a way you could highlight a bunch of columns in Discover (segments + metrics) and copy them to another report in another window or workspace and paste them in.  This would save a lot of time adding segments multiple times...

Adam - you can copy an entire report to another workspace in Discover today - which would include all segments and metrics within the report. Does that help?

The copy report doesn't help much in this case.  To see what I mean, try this...Add 4 segments to a report.  Then add 4 metrics to the 1st segment.  Now assume you want the same 4 metrics for the remaining 3 segments.  IN this case, you would have to copy the report 4 times after adding the right metrics, then have to manually change the segments in each report.  Or, if you use the existing reportm you would have to drag over metrics 12 times manually (which is a pain!).  I am asking for the ability to highlight the remaining 3 metrics from the 1st segment column and simply paste them into the other segment columns.

An alternative would be a cool "Match the metrics of this column for all segments" feature which would also solve the problem...

Not sure if that all makes sense...Happy to show you vis web meeting if it helps...
