Currently when a report is emailed it is sent to the user's configured email address and it is listed as from the same address. Our corporate email firewall blocks this basic spoofing and will not allow these emails through. I suspect that our company is not the only company that has a firewall that stops spoofing. The only way around this is to use a popular online webmail client that allows this behavior however it is undesirable to have work content sent to a public email provider.
The idea is to stop spoofing the from address and just have it come from some single Omniture email address eg. system@omniture.com or reports@omniture.com etc.
