The segment featrue has improved a lot in the past and brought more flexibility into Omniture. The next step should be to make segments available on a metric level so that those "calculated metrics" become available as standard metrics for a report suite. This would allow to reduce the number of calls in ReportBuilder for example as well. Example: Visit is a standard metric. But in one report I also want Visits to Homepage and pull this number directly within in one call for my selected report suite rather than creating two ReportBuilder Jobs for the two metrics.

Agreed, was just thinking about this the other day. Discover allows this if you create a calculated metric, would be great to get it in RB too.
