Ability to show column average instead of col. total in Workspace Analysis

Hi Team,

Presently, all the reports in Analytics/Workspace by default show 'sum total' of row items. It would be great if user has an option to change the default 'sum total' to different arithmetic calculations like average, weighted average etc. for all the metrics (custom, calculated and standard). At present if we want to see average, we may have to create a calculated metrics.

Thank you!

Yeah, would be great to have that easy solution.

But I can suggest several options depending on the needs that can be used:
Use the cumulative average function to apply metric smoothing
Reference: basic functions

Easy and fast option that I use to get avg from column:
Visualize --> Summary number --> Summarize value by --> Mean

I used the summarize values by mean option that someone noted above, but I have filters on that aren't being accounted for. its giving me the mean of the column grand total, not filtered total. does anyone have fix?
