I am working on configuring CQ dispatcher ( author) on centOs virtual machine..After done with all the steps I am able to access CQ pages using host name and apache port ( 55.55.55.5:80) . But I am unable to see any content in doc root of apache i.,e /var/www/html. The use case is " As a damadmin, I would like to establish a relationship between an asset with multiple assets in the Adobe DAM".  I am assuming the relationship would be a metadata field and the type would be a multifield of pathfield so that the admin can select multiple assets to relate them to this particular asset". If any one has any other ideas or other ways of achieving this by configuration in the Adobe AEM 6.0 SP2, please let me know

Hello,We have recently upgrade our instance to AEM 5.6.1 from CQ 5.5. Recently we found that accessing an unavailable page on publish either from direct server access or proxy access, is taking to default log in page. Do I need to modify any configuration to stop the behavior?I have compared /apps/sling/servlet/errorhandler/404.jsp code in 5.5 and 5.6.1 and they are same.Thank you very much for your help in advance.

Got an interesting requirement:From the Author instance I need to find all /a/b/component's that have been replicated to the Publisher instance.Background:There are approximately 1000 components currently in the repo, of which 500 are published to the Publishers.On the Author we want to retrieve all components, how can we effectively get the replication state of each component.What is the most elegant approach to do it ?CQ5.5Thanks in advance for your awesome replies,Peter

Hi,I am doing a POC where I want to bypass the Aem login screen. I have deployed AEM 6.0 on tomcat and configured  in house authentication (Kerberos ) in tomcat. When I start the tomcat and access the application, it shown the in house login screen. Once the authentication is successful, it is showing AEM login screen. As per my requirement I don't want to show AEM login screen and user should see welcome screen when the login is suucessful from in house login screen. Do I need to create any custom logic to by pass the AEM login screen?

I'm also adding several classes to the decoration tag for styling purposes.However, when I drag a new component into my custom parsys, it doesn't pick up any of the classes. If I refresh the pages and let my custom parsys component re-layout the components, it adds the classes appropriately. Is there some way I can get these css classes on components that are newly dropped onto my custom parsys?

Write a bundle and Jsp page call the function, it's weired that can't generate and find the file.@Override public String generateFileTest() { File file = new File("test.xml"); file.createNewFile(); return file.getAbsolutePath(); } Anybody know the reason? The issue is on publish environmentI have managed to create a client library folder under apps for a component,  and have created a client library folder under etc and embedded the one under apps. In the jsp, i have used cq:includeClientlibrary tag to include the category under etc.The js and css are being picked up on Publish, but now the images/fonts folders under the clientlibrary folder under apps is not being picked up.Any help?

I am trying to change the dialog in a custom control component.I have copied the component out of /libs/foundation/components/parsys into my own application folder.However, the dialog no longer picks up the Coulmn Layout in the Selection.I assume it is not able to find the css to set the columns.My question is how do I point the Column Control Component to my own custom css. RegardsClive Stewart

After some revision of project code we have experiencing problem with empty sidekick in author edit mode on AEMWe can't add component to our valid parsyses. Please advice possible reasons how it can happenThanks

Good Afternoon!We've got a feedback form that we have setup to as follows:[img]Screen Shot 2015-03-13 at 11.36.25 AM.png[/img][img]Screen Shot 2015-03-13 at 11.37.03 AM.png[/img] When I test the form within aem, the form send through, and the email gets sent out, and the page returns with submit=200 in the url.HOWEVER. when I publish the page, and try to then run the form from it's published url, it returns with submit=500, and the emails do not get sent out.any ideas on what may be the issue?

Hi all, I'm desperately trying to find out where in the repository the rights are defined to show or hide a button (e.g. publish, unpublish, move) within the sites section of AEM6? I already checked the following path : /libs/wcm/core/content/sites/jcr:content/body/content/header/items/selection/items/movepageBut I cannot see any ACL rules defined for this path. Why is this button hidden for a 'contributor' and shown for an 'administrator' (and more important, where is this defined) ? This question is related to the development of an own button (based on the following tutorial : https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/develop/extending/customizing-page-authoring-touch.html), where I try to show this new button only to a certain group.Thanks for the help!Cheers,Ruben

hi i am setting up new servers for author and  publish node, i packaged up all the existing code/content and unpacked them in the author node. my question is for the content in publish node, should i upload and unpack the content package like how i did it in the author node or should i activate content from the author node? the content package is quite big, it's around 6G with some images and pdf files. thanksshu

We seem to not get partial matches in our content finder image search.  This seems odd and I hope there is a quick fix. If an image has a filename or title such as:  Sample_Image123.  Entering "Samp" or "Sampl" or any substring as the search query does not return the asset.  This is driving our authors nuts.Version: AEM 5.6.1 latest SP

Hi All,We have a requirement where Content Authors should apply rules (like Include some name exclude some name) for the content in an Dialog so that personalized content will be retreived accrording to rules added.Something like Rules Section (Add Rule) of Edit package Dialog Box. Screenshot give more understanding.How to achecive that is there any OOTB Xtype to use to acheive rules (same as Edit Package Dialog). I am not finding code of Edit Package dialog (might be its an Custom Widget )Please let me know any pointers on this.

Does anyone know if AEM can lock the user account after certain failed login attempts?  It seems that we can brute force attack against user accounts with OOTB setting?
