Hi Team,We are using admin login session on AEM6.0  "session = repository.loginAdministrative(getDefaultWorkspaceName())"  . Now we are migrating to AEM6.3 using new approach of getting session i.e created a system user and added the same user in the user mapper service config.Question:1.  How to make system user works as admin session means to have same permissions "repository.loginAdministrative(getDefaultWorkspaceName()) "  method. ?ThanksSumit

Hi,Is it possible to pass a custom property say "domain name" from the community components and receive the same in email templates? Reason why I am asking is the communities components needs major customization when it is to be used in more than one application having more than one domain as domain value from externalizer by default is picked based on runmode value.Any suggestion for this scenario will be very helpful. Thanks

I started to use community features on my local instances. I was following the adobe doc https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/6-2/communities/using/deploy-communities.html  created community site on author and followed the steps to publish it. It got published but I am not able to configure any users on publish instance. Attached a screenshot which shows an error when try to open groups/members from community consoles and the log file errors as below. log file from publish instance:-31.10.2017 07:40:59.238 *ERROR* [0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1 [1509453659148] GET /communities/groups.html/content HTTP/1.1] com.adobe.cq.social.members.impl.CommunityMemberGroupImpl Unable to get id from resource 31.10.2017 07:40:59.238 *ERROR* [0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1 [1509453659148] GET /communities/groups.html/content HTTP/1.1] com.adobe.cq.social.members.impl.CommunityMemberGroupImpl Unable to get id from resource 31.10.2017 07:40:59.240 *ERROR* [0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1 [1509453659148] GET /communities/groups.html/conte

HIis there a way to read data from Adobe campaign Database that is on Cloud? I want to connect tableau to adobe campaing ( cloud version) to read data from log tables.thanks in advance

I am in the process of setting up a transactional email that will be triggered off an API call, I have everything working except for how to pass in values through the REST api and use that in my velocity foreach script. For testing purposes, I have this:#set( $myList = [ "Item 1", "Item 2", "Item 3" ] ) <ul>#foreach ($cat in $myList)     <li>$cat</li>#end</ul>I'm looking to replace $myList with the values I pass in through my api call, for reference i'm using the /rest/v1/campaigns/{ID}/trigger.json endpoint to add the lead to my smart campaigns. Any help would be great!

Hello,Has anyone come across this issue wherein, in AEM, 5.6 and 5.6.1, should the workflow on a payload fail, the sidekick workflow tab is completely blank as opposed to containing "Translation" and "Workflow" drop down.I have cleared the workflow instances under /etc/workflow/instances folder, but no luck.Any information?Regards,

Hi ,I am using the AEM 6.2 version.  Workflow tab is empty when we open the page in Classical UI , its returning the widgets.js:163768 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'wcm' of undefined . I have checked these 2 paths existed or not/libs/cq/workflow/content/wfmodels/libs/cq/workflow/components/wfmodels. Even for the geometrixx app pages as well same problem. Can any one suggest me what should be the cause and how to solve it. Its urgent. ThanksUma

Hi all,My understanding is that AEM Assets is an integral part of AEM and will work behind AEM implicitly. Will there be some direct AEM Assets implementations as well (with AEM or without)? If AEM Assets needs to be configured to ingest store and manage video and audio assets in varying lengths and formats, is there any customization that we need to do or it is all out of box?Is there anything special required to stream the audio-video media to a client (AEM or non-AEM)? Or it comes as standard?Appreciate all your responses.Thanks,Rama.

I want to be able to look at a report that tells me how successful my Progressive Profiling is being, not simply by showing conversions, but seeing which fields are getting filled out when they cycle through, so we can see if certain added fields for repeat contacts are more effective than others. Is there any way to do this that already exists in current reports, or an easy way to set something up?Thanks!

We have a hosted adobe campaign instance and we will like to export data from this instance to our data ware house hosted remotely (Azure SQL can be an option). In an ideal situation direct access to the database will be most beneficial since then we can use SSIS to periodically download the data into our own database. I believe this does not seems to be a possibility.I have been looking into the FDA provided by AC mentioned in detail hereAccessing an external database (FDA) I wonder if this is possible to connect to an external (remotely hosted) database to export the data directly into the data ware house. The article also mentions "HTTP relay to a remote instance" which I think will enable to connect to another Adobe Campaign Instance not a database. Has any of you had any experience in these cases?

Hi All,I have an workbench process which has an output parameter as a XML as data type. How can I read it through my java code and convert it into string.Any help please. Thanks,Sobhan

Ok so I have been working on a guided landing page but for some reason in the test version when I go to preview the live page the defining text that it is html 5 pops up. I read in another discussion that someone turned off the prefill and that fixed the issue, but in this case that is my main reason for using this. Does any one have any advise?I put the code below for your reference.(some of it I pulled from the Marketo templates some I wrote)<!DOCTYPE html><html><head lang="en"><!--Standard Meta--><meta charset="utf-8"><meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1, maximum-scale=1"><title>Pluribus Landing Page template</title><link href="https://nation.marketo.com//templates.marketo.net/template1/css/bootstrap.css" rel="stylesheet"><!--icons displayed on tab in various browsers--><link rel="icon" href="pluribusnetworks.com/assets/pluribus-favicon-80x80.png" sizes="32x32"><link rel="icon" href="p

Is there an OOTB way in AEM 6.2 to crop image renditions on upload similar to how Wordpress handles renditions?  Currently the workflow is just resizing the image.

Can someone please confirm that this the same behavior in aem 6.3 for them as well ?When a page is created with title having more than 3 words in siteadmin(for both classic and touch ui); then hyphens are not present in the page name after 3 words, for example ; if title is - really long page name in aem 63; the created page has name as really-long-pagenameinaem63in aem 6.1 it introduces hyphens in all words but introduces it in only 3 words in aem 6.3 and then the page name is without any hyphencan someone please try this and check in aem 6.3 instance? is this a known issue? How can this be fixed?

HelloHere is a part of the form of the predefined filter “By age range”:<form colcount="3"> <enter> <set value="0" xpath="/tmp/@min"/> <set value="0" xpath="/tmp/@max"/> </enter> <container colcount="2"> <input label="Minimum age" minValue="0" noTransaction="true" type="number" xpath="/tmp/@min"/> <input label="Maximum age" minValue="0" noTransaction="true" type="number" xpath="/tmp/@max"/></container>I did something similar with dates (minimum and maximum date). But if I use the “/temp/” path the inserted values are not kept when I later come back.In contrast to this is the form of the predefined filter “By name or email”, where the values are kept when I come back later:<form colcount="2"> <input noTransaction="true" xpath="@lastName"/> <input noTransaction="true" xpath="@email"/></form>But I can’t do it that way because in my case it would be something like:<form colcount="2"> <input label="Minimu
