AEM 5.5 Service Pack 3Recently when attempting to author/edit the Scene7 Cloud Config dialog, the Ok button is still disabled after entering email, password, region, clicking connect to Scene7, selecting Company and Root path. Hi All,I have CQ5 local author instance and I need to set up local  publish instance.I have copied jar file and license properties kept in cq-publish folder,Build is done.Core ,UI are generated and restarted the server too.Site content is not displaying in publish.Can some one help me how can i copy the  site content from author to publish instance instead of uploading the packages.

Hi All,Content pages are no longer editable and the side-kick is empty. Looking at the console I can see the error is raised on line 1241 of EditBase.js: this.parentEditable = CQ.WCM.getEditableFromDOM(this.element.dom.parentNode); where getEditableFromDOM is not defined.. Adobe CQ5 (5.5.0) Any ideas?

I am developing a simple breadcrumb component as my first Sightly component. I am really liking it. Even moving from a component perviously built JSTL component, the presentation code has gone from 46 lines to 8 lines. I am extending WCMUse for the model logic e.g to build a list of trail items (pages).I have a small requirement to show the trail title based on if specific properties exist e.g. navigation title, then page title, then page name.I could approach this in two ways:1. Hi, I had a requirement to expose custom ".json" view of page . Basically I had to expose all <div> of each component on that page as JSON. So to achive this followed the standard practice:1. Add Page.json file/apps/foundation/components/primary/cq/Page/Page.json.jsp 2. Then under my "pagecomponent" added "json.jsp" Everything worked great and I was able to get custom ".json" workinghttp://localhost:4502/content/mysite/home.json But then I realized that when I am opening the page property then everything is BLANK in page property dialoghttp://localhost:4502/content/mysite/home.html Then after some digging found that if I rename my extension to be something else other that ".json" like ".json1" then the issue was resolved. I am just wondering why having ".json" extension was causing this issue. I am thinking that CQ internally also uses this extension ".json" so was there any conflict etc happening which was causing page property value in page property dialog to go BLANK. In CRX s

How can I add a .html file as an item under a folio? The bigger picture here being that I want to inject a pdf resource in a .html file to bepushed to DPS to create the magazine. Do I need to bundle the pdf into a "HTMLResources.zip" file?

Hello!Problem with content finder on scaffolding pages: on reload any scaffolding page - cf is stuck on "Loading...". Little solution: every time  reload scaffolding page with ctrl+f5(force download cache) but then cache is downloaded and reload page problem is back.[img]scaffolding-cf-problem.jpg[/img]

Hi,In our project we have many sites on CQ. Each site might have some data associated with it, that is generated using a background job once a day.The data is actually a pre-generated XML file that is later gonna be served when accessed via a URL. The reason why we pre-generate it rather than dynamically generate it in response to requests is that it is CPU heavy and could take quite a while to be generated.For a site that its content is stored at /content/project/site I am thinking to create a similar hierarchy under /etc/project/site and store the file there.The question is, is /etc a good place for storing such data?Thanks in advance.

I started a project back in October and now have a serious number of tar mk  files.  Is there anyway that I can delete some of them?  Compression seems to work, but even still, the fact that there are about a hundred of them is really eating up space.

Hi,I have applied ACLs with glob expressions in AEM 6.0 with crx3. Below is the scenario. 1. Created a group and added below acl to /content level<deny jcr:primaryType="rep:DenyACE" rep:principalName="private-users" rep:privileges="{Name}[jcr:read]" >        <rep:restrictions jcr:primaryType="rep:Restrictions" rep:glob="/*" />    </deny>With above ACL, in <domain>/useradmin screen, "/content" node checkbox is checked and it childs are not checked,2. Created child group to above created group and gave read access to some project in content. lets say content/geometrixx. With above, child group will have content and content/geometrixx nodes will be checked and all other childs of content will be unchecked.3. Hi Team,When i access localhost:4502/Tools.html am able to access it properly. But when i access localhost:4503/Tools.html the publish environment am getting resource not found 404 error.I have customized 404.jsp at /apps/sling/servlet/errorhandler/404.jsp. When i move this 404.jsp it works fine in publish environemnt also.Not able to find out the problem here.Please your help is greatly appreciated.Thanks,Madhu

Hi, I am working on AEM, 6.0. I am using the OOTB Search component and the spell check doesn't work.If I search for a word with a mistake, I never get the "Did you mean ...." text? Is the spell check feature not supported in AEM 6? If not then why In the search component dialog there is a field for Spellcheck text? Could you please let me know how can I enable the spell check. 

Hi,I am new to Adobe CQ now AEM, I have been struggling to implement a one shot install for an existing project but so far not been able to succeed.This is what I have currentlyA package which basically has few configs, template and a component(I make changes to CRXDLite and build the package)4 bundles which have the OSGi Services.(I make changes to the individual maven projects and upload the jar manually) Now what I expect to do is to cutdown this two step process to one. Hi All,I tried to redirect the http://localhost:4502 to https://localhost:7443 on Mac and Linux.Its working fine.But when i tried this on windows 7 with the same configuration it is redirecting to https://localhost:7443 but am not getting the login page/projects page.Can you please let me know is there any other settings apart from CQ Level should i need to configure on windows 7/windows server 2008.Any help would be appreciated.ThanksMaheswar
