Hello, I have next problem:I need to set some default settings for comments component and I tried to do it in next way - I added node with name "comments" under the jcr:content of template of me page. When I create page, this "comments" node appears in /conent/mypagename/jcr:content/ but comments component does not work. If I delete this "comments" node, then set the same settings via edit dialog, node with the same properties appears and component works! Also, as I found here - help-forums.adobe.com/content/adobeforums/en/experience-manager-forum/adobe-experience-manager.topic.html/forum__srsa-hi_i_raisedane.html , node with name comments will not be replicated during page activation, and as I see it, it's done to prevent problem that I got with my properties.Can anyone suggest me the way, how I can set some default setting for comments component?Thank you. UPD: when I put me comments component into the parsys it's properties were successfuly replicated with page. Hi I have developed a textimage component in AEM5.6 and it is working as expected. Expected: text should be to the left of the image with certain padding and the applied stylesbut later, I have imported the same component and trying to use the same in AEM6.0 .But here, text is always coming below the image. no styles getting appliedI want to display the text on the imagebut no styles getting applied.  Could any one tell me, what could be the problem? Do I have missed any thing?

Hello,I was looking to see if any one had any recommended approaches for a solution we are trying to implement.We are looking to use variable replacement inside AEM.  The variable replacement would be from within authorable components.  For example if I wanted to use the RTE to replace {institution} with the institution name.  This would not be a one time replacement.  Essentially the variable needs to remain whenever they are in authoring but when they are on publish they would need to see the replaced variable.  Otherwise I could just trigger an event on the component to search the text and replace the variable on the fly but since the variable needs to remain this is where I am struggling.  I know I can use the i18N to do variable replacement but I don't think that would work for an author inside the RTE component (or any component that I am writing text in).We are attempting to do this as we have multiple site which essentially have the exact same content with a different skin but

Hi all,We have noticed that when our CQ5 environment is up and running for a few days, replication performance degrades significantly.When the system is healthy, at peak moments, there's 2MB/s data transfer observed in the network between the author/publisher instances.However when the performance degrades, network traffic is reduced to 100-200KB/s.Heap and PermGen memory usage on both publisher and author instances are within the normal range, GC runs are normal and quick, author JVM has less than 20% CPU usage and the publisher JVM reports 50% CPU usage.We have also increased the Sling Eventing Thread Pool's size to 100 on author instances per recommendations we have received from DayCare.A few questions:Is there anyway we can increase the number of threads that an agent uses to replicate data from an author instance to a publisher instance?Are there any settings we can tune on publisher instances to improve performance?What is the purpose of the "Batch" settings of a replication age

Hi Team,I have added maxLength(50) and allowBlank(false) properties to the Touch UI dialog's node which extends granite/ui/components/foundation/form/textarea (sling:resourceType). But whenever I entered nothing and clicked on tick mark (✔), it is not restricting me. Also I'm able to enter more than 50 characters in the text area. Are these bugs in Touch UI? Hi,I am trying to add functionality to rtf (or rte based components) such that, if a text is provided using hyperlink functionality, then, after that hyperlink an image icon corresponding to the link type should be placed after the hyperlinked text.For example, if I provide a pdf link to some text in rtf by using the hyperlink functionality, a pdf image icon will be placed after it. We need to download the all extension files like pdf | txt | word |html and son on but except image in the CQ5, then to translate these files in localhost. At last upload these files back to CQ5.The question is how to know the files list path and how to get the files stored in the CQ5 to localhost or a specific server and how to upload the file to CQ5? Awaiting for anyone suggestion, thanks in advance!  

Hi,I need to develop a web services and it needs to be hosted in Adobe CQ. I knew that CQ consume web services from other systems. We will need to create a OSGI bundle for this. I heard that Adobe not recommended to develop web services in CQ. Is it good approach to develop a web services in CQ itself? What happens if we host it in CQ?Please share your feedback.Thanks,

I was trying to create project from Eclipse Luna and AEM Developer Tools for Eclipse.Just after creation of project I get errors in project. I have checked and put all missing jars from pom.xml but still I am getting this error.
