Hi all,Our company is developing the first AEM project with the AEM 6.3 version of Adobe Experience Manager. We created our project based on the Maven archetype version 12.We encounter a problem on our test machine. We deploy the project on both author and publish instances via a Jenkins job (that just calls maven mvn -PautoInstallPackage clean install (on author) and mvn -PautoInstallPackagePublish clean install on the publish instance.In the author instance everything looks fine, content can be configured, visualised in preview mode correctly. On the publish instance the header component which is part of an editable template disappears, and content is not correctly displayed.Is there an additional step, like clearing some caches or similar that we have to execute after a deploy, so that the content on the publish instance is displayed correctly?What we found till now after a small research is just to recompile the jsps on the publish instance:http://<HOSTNAME>:4503/system/conso

Hello,I am trying to teach myself how to create calculated metrics using the 1.4 api because I have to create 300 metrics, and I would prefer not to do this manually.  I have read the Github documentation here​.  The challenge I am having is adding a segment that applies to all metrics within a container.  There is a comment in the documentation that reads:"calculatedMetric": this is a wrapper around any piece of the calculated metric definition. The only reason to use this wrapper is to apply "segments" to all pieces inside the wrapper.The problem is that there are no examples showing the syntax for how this works.  In my attempt, I was successful at creating a metric, however a segment was not applied.  See below for my json.  Can someone take a look and see where my error is?  I find it strange that an actual metric was created but no segment existed.  I would have thought I would have received an error.Separate question - when I use "type": percent, I still get a metric is a decima

I want to use dynamic variables mapping to send the same value in a prop and a eVar. I have mapped a data element in the eVar and the prop with "D=v1".My problem is that the prop1="D=v1" is sent even when the eVar1 doesn't take value and is not sent.Is there a way to avoid that behavior other than coded it instead of use the configuration interface?Regards,

VaultClipse has been installed with the following configuration:1.  Java 1.72.  Eclipse Luna3.  AEM 6.04.  vault-cli-3.1.6I am getting an error when i map the vault directory to the \crx-quickstart\opt\filevault\filevault\vault-cli-3.1.6 as “Please Fix Vault Directory. Please correct the directory for Vault. The current directory is incorrect.”But, I am able to map vault directory(both vault-cli-2.4.18 and vault-cli-3.1.6) with Kepler .Thanks and Regards,Debal 

Dear Experts,We are an eCommerce sector handling multiple domains including payment gateways.Below is the background to raise this question.Currently our sector is hosted in the domain(Example is given since we do not want to disclose) abc.com. When we submit a from, it will redirect to payment.com domain  and then to abc.com again where Lead Completed codes are placed. Flow is as follows:abc.com (Form Page - Lead Started) >> payment.com (Intermediate Page - Payment Gateway) >> abc.com (Form Page - Lead Completed).Due to the above behavior, Lead Completed event is attributed only to Referring Domains i.e. payment.com  in Marketing Channel Report. Lets say we came from Natural Search landing to Form Page, on completion, we will be redirected to payment gateway and then to Thank you page. Though our Last Touch Channel is Natural Search, because of the intermediate domain redirection the leads are attributed only to Referring Domains i.e. payment.com.Do we have any solution to

I'm seeing a problem in launch with my Analytics action order. If I:create a rule (click-based, FWIW)add the "Adobe Analytics: Set Variables" action (and add in my variables)save the rulere-open the ruleadd the "Adobe Analytics: Send Beacon" action to fire AFTER my Set Variables (s.tl, if that makes a difference)add the "Adobe Analytics: Clear Variables" action to fire AFTER my Send Beacon (I don't know if this makes a difference to my bug)... for reference, at this point my rule looks like this:save the rule...Then when I re-open the rule, view it in my library in my publishing flow, or view how the rule behaves in my environment, the action order has magically changed to "Send Beacon" FIRST, and my variables don't get set:This has happened three times to me now. If I remember to not save the rule until all three actions are added, it seems to be ok- but not if I add Set Variables, save, then come back in and add the other actions.Is this a bug? Does this happen to anyone else?

I have been testing out both methods for getting metedata loaded and have noticed some differences. Below are some of the questions I have.When I performed a manual upload it told me “Successfully uploaded rows”, “Rows with Collisions”, “Rows that had no effect”. When I do the FTP I only get a genaric email notification with no details. Is this all of the information I can get for the FTP method?Is there another way to find out the details of what happened with my FTPed file?I’m assuming that the “Rows with collisions” has to do with if I checked the “overwrite data on conflicts” check box. Is this correct?  I ran a test where I didn’t check the checkbox and changed most of the data and the rows where the data was changed showed in the "Rows with Collisions" count. On one of the attempts with the manual upload I received the message about the first column must be primary key, I did finally get it to load but if a similar issue arose with the FTP method would I get a notificationof the

Hey all,  I am having a problem where when installed, Visitor Click Map will not open unless IE or Firefox is opened by admin.  Is there a way around this? I do not need people to be able to run IE as admin just to be able to use this plug-in.

are the numbers for the events for the performance timing plugin in seconds or milliseconds? Every single time I try to comment on a pdf on my android phone I get the message : read only >save on local or cancel .However, I don't want to save it on local storage and make copies of file .All I want is the adobe change the file to read/write using BRUTE FORCE . I don't know how to make it do that!#files are in a synced folder using (Sync app)#I have no idea where the copy is saved when I choose save on local despite searching multiple times!

Hi Team,Based on a customer requirement, I have been tried to compare the city data which I have captured through DTM and the automatic Geo segmentation city data which was captured by default by adobe with the help of IP. I have observed the data mismatch that was because of the 90% accuracy which was provided by adobe for Geo Segmentation city variable.1). Can anyone please suggest that if there is any way that I can get the exact data of Geo city numbers which is same as the numbers which I have got from the DTM city variable?2). I need to present a Form B to the user after he submits Form A.  Form B needs to be prefilled with data based on values entered by the user in Form A.  I know how to set up a custom submit service.  I know how to specify Form B as the redirect for Form A so that it appears after a successful submit.  I also know how to set up a custom prefill for Form B.  What I can't seem to do is pass anything from Form A's submit service to the prefill service for Form B.  I must be missing something obvious, but I've searched high and low with no success.In the prefill service I have access to DataXMLOptions.  From there I can get a user ID, but that's not useful because these may be anonymous users.  Is there anything that I can set in my submit service that I can access through DataXMLOptions (e.g. a session ID)?  If so, I could stage what I need in a file or a database during the submit service and retrieve it again in the prefill service.  I just don't see any way of doing that.Any help is grea

(edit: This is for Campaign Standard) I'm creating a custom import template. During the Import File step, I'm doing a Value Remapping on a client-supplied "country" field. Whenever I upload a new file, my Value Remapping disappears. Is this normal? Can it be configured? My client will be regularly uploading new files, so this is unacceptable behavior and I'm not sure why it would be the default.Use case: My client creates a CSV where the "Country" is a string (e.g. "Unites States"). The only meaningful way that I've found to save the country information is using something like an out-of-box ISO-2 field ("US") such as location/@countryCode. I could create a dummy field such as "countryString" just to hold the data but that seems like an anti-pattern.Acceptable solutions:1) Can you save a string such as "United States" directly into an appropriate out-of-box like country or location?2) Is there a way to persist Value Remapping so it isn't destroyed when you upload a new file?Screenshot:I

Hey everybody,I'm trying to create a smart campaign right now where the smart list includes the trigger "Clicks Link on Web Page" .I put in the Link Name (the URL is the URL of a .pdf file in our Marketo Design Studio) and the URL of the Web Page (it's the approved Landing Page of this program).But Marketo tells me that the values are invalid. I even tried to put "" in front of the URLs but it's still not working.We used other Landing Pages from Marketo before in our Smart Campaigns and it always worked.Does somebody know anything about this problem?Kind regardsChristina

I would not like to create a segment in Adobe, of all these users. Hi,I know we can arrange the order of dimension based on increasing/decreasing order of any metric. But how to arrange it manually, when due to certain pathing pages in lower funnel can have more visitors than pages in top of the panel. For example, in above sample screenshot, what if I want the bottom page with 4 visits to be at the top without using the auto-squence which changes all 3? ( or when we have many pages at once, but few pages order need to be arnaged).Any help and comments appreciated!RegardsPankaj

Hi,My company has recently started integration work on Marketo. We were earlier using Pardot-Salesforce to capture formdata , now the same needs to replaced with Marketo using their REST API.!Going through the documentation I dont see any REST API which shows that I can POST data to a form( I have successfully created a form and able to submit data by embedding it in a form) and also linking the form data to the Form Landing Page . The Lead or Form is actually shown as a Member only if I use the Form landing page to post data to it. Though the data is shown under the Marketing studio , if I like search based on email IdQuestion1- How should I replace my existing codebase to use the Marketo Forms , with minimal coding effort.2- Which endpoint should I use to POST the form data to Marketo. I am sorry I have gone through the documentation twice and implemented a few code examples , But I am not sure which endpoint I should use. At the moment, if I edit an asset and create a crop, it overwrites the original image. Is it possibly to create multiple crop renditions of the same image manually?
