Adobe Workfront Fusion

We're considering Fusion, and I was wondering if it is possible to trigger an email notification based on a set # of days before the value in a date field? For example, if I have a "contract ends" date field in a custom form, I would want an email notification sent from Workfront 90 days before that date value as a reminder. Is this possible with Fusion? Thank you!

Hey there - I'm quite new to Workfront fusion. We are using an open-source event-driven automation tool to manage different complex operation workflow automation within our organization. This involves significant development in Python to get the workflows ready. Wondering whether Workfront can be an alternative in this regard? From the docs, I understood Fusion got different direct integrations and options to add no-code workflows.    Any suggestions/leads would be of great help.    Cheers!

Hi. I'm somewhat new to Fusion and I'm trying to convert a project using a project template that is specified as a type ahead custom field on an Issue. When I pull the output bundle with the DE: Project Template it gives me the bundle content below. "DE:Project Template": "{\"objCode\":\"TMPL\",\"name\":\"CORP Design Only - General\",\"ID\":\"64136e0100034a1259ce7cd9da4c0f35\"}",  How do I grab the project template ID from the coding above so that I can use it as my Template ID when I go to convert the project?  I was thinking that I could use Set Variable using the Get/Split functions, but I'm not sure how to set up the formula to only pull the Template ID. {{get(split(2.`DE:Project Template`; ? ); ?)}}Can anyone help?

Hello all,   New to fusion and building a onboarding process using Workfront and Fusion. The scenario is built to create a project from a request. This so far works perfectly. My problem is we have many people involved in this process and would like to make a report that will show JUST the tasks an individual is assigned. I can attach a task custom form to the related tasks and have the assignee input information in the custom field at the report level but I cannot roll that info up to the "project" custom form (same form) but ultimately that is where I want it for visibility when reviewing just the project information. I am certain there is a way to build this in Fusion but I'm just not there yet. I'm hoping someone out there may have a suggestion on how I might do this.   My goal is find the "task" custom form fields related to each project and copy/update that info. to the related "project" custom form for each project.   Thank you in advance for any assistance you ca

At the start of a project, I set up all of my proof workflows with an FPO proof so that my designers don't need to do it and then set the Activate stage to "Manually". When they have their first proof (v2) ready to send through for review, they upload a new version and then change the activate stage from "Manually" to "On proof creation" and then they generate the proof. I want to see how I can automate this so that once a new proof version is created (v2), it will change the "Activate Stage" from Manually to On Proof Creation. Does anyone know how to do this? I can't seem to find where the Activate Stage option is located in Fusion.   

Writing to ask about the hard coded date format used in the 'Search' module. For example, I'm trying to filter search results for projects that were entered after January 1st, 2023.I've tried using the formatDate function to test this, but it doesn't seem to be working.Also, in the date functions we have an option for 'now', but I'm looking for 'today'. Is there a built-in function or method that I can use for this?

Hi all Has anyone managed to use fusion to update a document owner id or a document user id?  If so, can you please share how you did this.  I've tried various modules and methods and not managed yet.   Thanks v much   Stuart Cairns

Hi Fusion folks,I have a filter on a Fusion scenario path that looks to see if the variable called DateDif is > 0.  If so, let'er through.  However, for some reason, I'm getting a zero when it calculates the datediff, when I would expect it to be "1".  I'm not sure why this is.  Here's the scoop:   This is the variable module responsible for formatting NOW, and a date output from a previous module   Here is the result   Here is the variable module responsible for doing the datediff calc   Here is the result:   The odd thing is that some records flow through fine, while others do not.Does anyone know what I might be missing here?   Thanks, Nick

I have a scenario initially triggered by a webhook,followed by a few different modules and ulitmately an email is sent with various information from the initial webhook. I then want to wait 1 week from this first email being sent and then send a second, follow up/reminder email but I cannot see any way to do this. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

I have certain people assigned to clients that need access to all projects for that client. I set them up on a form that is attached to each client (Company). When a project is opened for that client (Company) it pulls their name from the Company a calc field on the project. I'm trying to add them as Resource Managers on each of those projects. If I do an API call to get the Resource Manager info it looks like                              I have a scenario where I can pull the names and IDs of the users I want added from the Company Form but I don't know how to add them as Resource Managers to the project.                                                                                       I hav

Hi - does have anyone have a solution for pushing text from a Salesforce field into a Workfront Rich text field using Fusion? I've been to this page (Rich text fields in the Adobe Workfront API | Adobe Workfront) but I'm not a developer so I need a little more guidance. Hi Fusion Community,   I'm trying to build a path that looks at all of the hour records from tasks belong to various project, and aggregate the sum hours at the project level (in a custom field called Last Month's Revenue Hours).Here's what I've created, but for the life of me I can't get the hours to aggregate at the project level:   The result, below, just displays the number of hours records with the project ID associated to them.  I would expect the numeric aggregator would combine and sum the hour records, per projectID.  In the example below, I would expect to see 2 Operations in module 399's results: Key (projectID): 63d437500004910900788e21c9166c7e should be 75; and Key (projectID): 63d4385d0004ea53a2d4c487dbfa4ec5 should be 25.     Does anyone know where I'm going wrong?Thanks!Nick  

I recently worked through a need to create and maintain a many-to-many relationship that would be partially managed in Workfront and partially managed in Salesforce.  I'm sharing an overview of our solution in case it helps someone down the road.   The business need is to link the implementation effort (managed in a Workfront Project) with the product sold (managed in a Salesforce Asset). I have used fusion to create a single proof document out of 5 separate image docs in a project. The proof exits in the proofing module but I cannot find a way to associate the proof to a document (a dummy since there isn't a 'single' doc) in Workfront. All suggestions gratefully received.Stuart

I guess what I want to do is fairly simple but can't figure out how to do it and there is not much documentation with examples to help me out.   I want to take the string "John Smith" and split it at the space and create two variables 1) firstName: John 2) lastName: Smith   cannot fot the lifge of me figure out how to get this to work. Have tried splitting the string then using get to pull out the first and last items in the array but to no avail. Any help is much appreciated.   Thanks

When we created our Custom form (last year), we utilized a manually entered field to share data across teams/systems. It is static in Workfront. However, since then the Rich Text fields have been added allowing far more characters, which is crucial for us as we move forward. Is there an easy, straightforward way to do a single transfer of the data from one field to the other so I can actually remove the original, outdated field? As I said, we manually edit these, so it can't just be textmode pulling info in. I've never created anything myself in Fusion, and am hoping as this is straightforward that it shouldn't be too difficult. If you can direct me to help me narrow down documentation/training for this use case, that would be amazing.   Thank you!!

Hi,   I'm pretty new to Fusion.  I'm going through the Fusion online tutorials, and I'm stuck at one of the early practice exercises (additional practice work where the solutions aren't documented).   This particular exercise directs users to clone the Beyond basic mapping walkthrough scenario (consisting of 3 modules--download a list of project info; parse the CSV document; create projects based off of the parsed data) and then modify it to add a task to each project created.  Here's the tutorial page.     The mapping panel shows that the third module yields the WF ID of each project that is created.  However, I'm unsure how to map to this ID when creating the task records. Could someone please point me in the right directions?  Thanks in advance.  

Hi Fusion Community,Fusion is running into an error when trying to update a custom field, based on a formula I've inputted.  See the following screen shot.   It appears that Fusion throws an error when trying to populate a value in this formula field because the formula references a couple fields that are blank. Is there an easy way to account for blank values in those fields so that the formula treats them like zeros instead of blanks?  They are manual-input fields that can have a value or be blank.   This is the error I'm receiving: Invalid number in parameter 'DE:Last Month’s Revenue to be Recognized'.   Thanks, Nick    

Hi WF Fusion Community, Sorry for posting this twice - I posted in the regular WF community, and then realized this specific Fusion community exits 🙂   I'm looking to get the sum value from a specific custom field (Amount__c) based off of one or many bundles, per program.   Example: There 2 Billing Records over in Salesforce associated to WF Program A.  I grab this data with a Salesforce (search with query) module.  See screenshot called "Get Billed Overage from SFDC". It pulls over the Amount field value from those Billing Records.  In this example, let's say the Amount value for Billing Record #1 is 114,000, and the Amount for Billing Record #2 is 4,500.  See screenshot A, attached. Then, I have an Iterator module that looks at the Billing Records from the above Salesforce module (search with query), and groups bundles by Salesforce Asset ID (an asset has a 1-1 relationship with a program).  See attached screenshots called "Iterator" and "I

Our Global Translation team has a singular large project template with parent tasks for each language. Each language has varied child tasks associated with it. The current process is that they bulk remove the unnecessary languages per project. Is there a way fusion can remove the tasks based on a multi-select custom form drop down selection? Example: Someone needs their document only in EN and DE, so FR, KR, JP tasks can be removed from the template.    Thank you!
