Adobe Workfront

Hello Workfront System Admin community, I'm wondering how you manage the intake of your work from a business perspective. Aside from creating WF admin request form and queue, do you also use Jira, or something similar from a developer point of view. for example, someone would write the user story, someone works on the user story and someone validates that the work was completed in Workfront. Can you please share how you manage this at your company?thanksJennifer

I have created a project report that lists all projects done by our marketing teams the past two quarters. However I have also been asked to include a column that shows how many documents are in each project. I am having trouble figuring out what text mode to input as I'm also not finding a pre-made column that can help. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this column created?

Where can I find a list of Open Source Software that Adobe Workfront uses?

We have several users wanting to log time on projects that on in Planning status but the projects/tasks aren't showing up on their timesheets.  Without creating a custom status associated with current or having the users manually add the time, is there a workaround to have Planning status project automatically appear on timesheets?  Thanks!

Can the descriptive text field be enhanced while building the form? , I should be able to style the descriptive text by changing its color and making it bold for user.Is there a way to bring the descriptive text closer to the field, or is there an alternative solution?"  Workfront View  - 1)  Need to remove the space Highlighted in RED.  2) so i can  bring  the “Descriptive text field-with the text”  closer to  “Text with formatting field”3) Also, is there a way  to use style/color in “Descriptive text field-with the text”Please advice if you have alternate solution,

Hi, I've checked with my IT department about the recent Workfront Microsoft Outlook Integration Changes announcement. As it stands now, we will lose the functionality of the Workfront Outlook add-in when Microsoft fully disables the legacy exchange tokens. Are there any plans for Workfront to update the Workfront Outlook add-in app to updated authentication so the Outlook add-in still works?Thanks

Hello, I'm trying to run a report on how often a choice is selected on a custom form. I think there are two pieces I need help with: The calculated field I'm using to try to 'count' the choicesThe report grouping and chart I'm trying to make Custom FormI have a Checkbox field type, any user can select as many options that apply:I've added a calculated field with the following formula:{DE: Defect Reasons}Which now tells me what options have been selected:ReportThe goal of my report is to inform me how many times a checkbox option is selected, but for some reason, I can only use the Grouping 'Task > Calculated Defect Reasons' This is causing the chart to count the full string of choices, rather than the individual choice. Not the most helpful when there are many tasks put into the report: Is there any way to make a calculation that does individual counts of choices? And how could that translate into a Report chart? 

Dear all.  Most of the change types present in the Journal Entry reports are easy to understand (such as "add" or "edit"), however I must confess it's not clear to me how to interpret the change type "Digest". I've heard it would be related to comments, but could not verify this in the Workfront documentation.  Also, for some unclear reason, I can only seem to get "Digest" entries in reports from recent periods, like the last 30 days or so. Older period reports have zero entries of that type.  Any further info will be much appreaciated. Thanks.Marco

I'm the admin for my instance, and our field service support team asked me if there was a way they could track service calls in Workfront.Currently they use an Excel spreadsheet that includes details of the call, who answered the call, how the issue was resolved, etc.  There are also a variety of year end reports in the Excel spreadsheet.We sell our product through OEMs, so there aren't a high volume of service calls, only 1-3 a week during heating season.The team wants to explore Workfront as an alternative to licensing additional software such as Salesforce.Is anyone already doing this?  Would you mind sharing how you have it set up and any relevant lessons learned?Thank you!

Hello all,I'm trying to use Workfront APIs but it keeps throwing the following authentication error. "You are not currently logged in."Note: I am using it in a sandbox environment with a system admin user. API version 15.0From what I have understood from the documentation, there are 2 ways for authentication.1. SessionId - I tried using the login API to obtain a sessionId. I used the below mentioned URL for a POST call.https://mysandboxdomain.my.workfront.com/attask/api/v15.0/login?username=useremail&password=userpasswordUnfortunately, it keeps giving me the unauthorized error. I even tried using url encoding for my credentials as they have some special characters but that doesn't seem to work either 2. API Key - I tried using the project API with an API key that I generated from the sandbox instance but that didn't work either. I'm suddenly unable to create proofs - I receive an "Error Generating Proof" message in the top right of the screen. First started when I tried to load a new version of an existing proof I created. Tried in both safari and chrome, restarted and shutdown. Can anyone help troubleshoot?
