Adobe Workfront

Hi all, I need to create a filter for a task report to show all tasks with planned hours = 0. However, (task) planned hours does not seem to be available field for filtering the task report. Is there some workaround for this? Thanks!

My group's tasks (task groups) shift as the project is being worked on. We apply one long template that includes all possible tasks and then delete groups of tasks as we realize the work is not necessary to complete or not required of the project. We've tried to be very organized with the groups of tasks to make deleting easier, but wondered if there was an easier way. Can we link a group of tasks to show based on how we complete a custom form? For example, list the group of tasks available in the form, and then as they are checked off have them remain or removed from the project? Thanks!

is there any way to limit the character count in a custom field? Trying to make a character limit of 200 characters.

Hi all, We moved to managing users via the Admin console recently and one area we're unclear about is deactivating users. As a Product Administrator, I'm happy with removing users from the production environment by deleting their product in the console. But should I also need to deactivate the user with WF? Or should this be the other way round - WF first then console? The other issue we're finding is that Federated users we've deactivated in WF are reactivating as we aren't able to remove the product from the console. This is because they are assigned to a user group within the product profile that is synced to the company active directory. Will WF keep reactivating the users while this sync is in place? I'm trying to find a way of deactivating old users without the extra admin of raising an internal support ticket to our internal IT department. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Matt

I'm trying to pull the text from descriptive text fields into a calculated field that starts with an if statement, but I can't get the text to show I can only get it if its a text field. Any suggestions on pulling descriptive text from those fields ? Below is the if statement I started with. I know it is blasphemy, but we have users in multiple tools and bringing them all together into Workfront can be challenging. I am investigating options that would allow Workfront to remain the single source of truth and intake point but allow users to use their preferred tools for day-to-day task management. To that end, does anyone know how you might integrate Asana and Workfront using Workfront Fusion? This does not need to be a complex integration.Good (one way / one off): Workfront object (e.g. task/issue) creates a task in Asana with selected fields.Better (one way / refresh): Workfront object (e.g. task/issue) creates a task in Asana  with selected fields - updates to the object updates corresponding Asana entry. Best (two way): Workfront object creates a task in Asana. Hello! I'm creating a proof report to display all outstanding proofs for a team. If a proof only requires one approval at each stage, how can I filter this out of my report? Currently, the report shows a high number of proofs that need approval, even when a team member has approved them, as the user did not personally approve the proof. I have already included filters to exclude cases where the approval stage is 'Approved' and include proofs where the approver's decision is 'Pending.' Can anyone provide guidance on how to refine these filters? Thank you

Hello,  Does anyone know why I can't select the current month in the journal report? I want to run a report from June 1st to today, but the field won't let me.  

If you are a standard licensed user, go to the home page, and try to add a board from the widget panel...it isn't there. But it is there for contributor licensed users. I found this article which seems to be the only place this is mentioned: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/basics/home/use-home-area/add-edit-remove-widgets-in-new-home#widgets-available-for-specific-license-types. Is there a reason a feature like this isn't available to standard users?

Greetings! Is there some way to set up an email notification natively to Workfront is someone reacts to a comment? Or, would that require an integration outside of Workfront? Or, could Fusion do this? I'd rather Workfront triggered an automated email if someone reacts to a comment. Is that possible? TY

Is there any way to report on any requests generated through the Outlook add-in? Looking through some of my own request submissions through the add-in, I'm not finding anything distinctive to note the request came from Outlook. Since the Outlook integration is going to be non-functional soon, it would be good to know how many users are currently submitting requests using the add-in functionality. Thanks

I would like to have a project created automatically every quarter from a previous project. Is this possible without using Fusion or Planning?

When in a project if I complete a task, that has an auto approval process on it, by just putting 100 into the percent complete box and hitting enter, it works.However some team members have been completing tasks another way that started causing an error message to pop up.Error message says "Error Duplicate key value violates unique constraint". They are going into the task (w/the auto process) and then clicking on the "percentage slider" button and moving it to 100%. It still works but this message is popping up now and they are constantly having to close the error message.

As part of our migration effort, we had been using Percolate IDs as a lookup element to match metadata from Percolate with content like web pages, emails, and other marketing materials in a PowerBI report. Workfront has their own ID system that will support us in maintaining that similar set of reporting which is great.Enhancement and clarifications we are trying to work through from our legacy process include:Can Workfront IDs be sent as custom metadata into an AEM Sites page?Should we consider a web page as a "Project" or "Document" in Workfront? Document is appealing as webpages are updated from time to time and having a durable ID is critical for analysis. Project feels more like a what would be used to create or update a webpage.Thank you for a point of view on what other teams might be using or if this investigation is helpful for you.

I can get the text mode to work if the planned completion date of the project has passed using the code below, but not sure how to write the code to work for the current task's planned completion date.
