Adobe Workfront

I have asked this in the past,  and there never seems to be a good response. We need a report that will say something on the lines of:- Show me all of the project a list of people worked on, grouped by person.- The list of people would be driven by Team IDs We DO NOT:1. An assignment report that shows all of the tasks someone was assigned. We just want it at the project level2. We DO NOT want to create a dashboard that would be one report per person.Overall:We just want to be able to see the number of projects someone supported but in a report that shows everyone within that group. I would be baffled if we cannot do this, it seems to be a pretty simple project management tool ask....

I currently have a report that lists Milestones under each corresponding Project. I would like to recreate this report only in a horizontal layout (matrix?) where column heading is the milestone name and each row is a different project name.Any suggestions?

Hi,  Does anyone know if we can capture the length of time an issue/task/project has spent in each status throughout the course of the object being open to close? I know I can create a calculated field for 1 status, example : time stamped for when it was changed to in progress.  Is there a way to have one field that would show the timestamp for each status such as On Hold, Awaiting Feedback etc... or do I need to create separate fields for each status? Thank you!

My Project widget columns are not matching columns I have set up in layouts-home-widget settings-project. Where do My Project widget default columns come from? The only way I can make the layout my project widget columns show is to log in as each user and open columns filter, which seems to be a bug. Non-admin users don't have filter edit access so needed to change filter access before logging in. I need an admin way to show the layout project widget columns for each user. Thanks.

I have a column displaying currency from a custom field, the field formatting is set to show integers with no decimal places, but on the chart the decimal places show-up and users have asked for these to be removed. Is this possible?    

I have a user who is working on one of my projects on Workfront.She needs to be assigned 2 roles which have different internal rates start/end dates.Role 1 - Was already created in Workfront last year and is supposed to active only till 3rd June 2025Role 2 - The internal rate is different from role 1 and needs to be effective from 4th June 2025.This has to be done in such a way that does NOT affect all projects which the user was assigned to until 3rd June 2025. Please advise on how to do this? Thanks for your help in advance 🙂

The only fields we can currently show on a card at a glance without clicking into the card is Due Date, Estimation, Assignees, and Status. Is there any way to get around this? Plenty of software on the market enables you to customize this view so I'm curious to why Workfront doesn't offer this.  Wondering if anyone in the community has any ideas or resolution for this? 

I'm trying to find a way to hide information from stakeholders that is only visible to the users of a project.For example, a status update to let my leader know the stakeholder isn't providing x and is blocking the project.What would be the best way for this? I also want to keep these updates for auditing purposes later on. Thanks

Hi Community, I have a question about a time difference calculation in Planning. I have a field called End Date and i want to calculate the weeks until this End Date in T-weeks. I used this formula with the intend to receive the following results: T-6, T-4, T-0 etc., but for some reason the $$TODAY makes issues in the formula field for Planning, since I am either getting T-0 for all calculations/data variations or no results at all.Any thoughts? Workarounds? From a project report created, I am looking to create a line (or bar) chart with a second line graph report to illustrate the 2 groupings: a score from our creatives and a priority level score from the marketing team i.e. 1=urgent, 2=high, 3=medium and 4=low.I have both calculated field successfully set up in Groupings and added the project name as a 3rd grouping. This is what I want the chart to illustrate:y axis = Score count (to measure creative score and also the number on the priority level  - 1,2,3,4) x axis = project nameLine/bar plotting 1 = marketing priority scoreLine plotting 2 - creative score Is this at all achievable? Can we do dual y axis? I think not, but it doesn't seem too unreasonable. I have used Copilot to visualise it for me and attached Thank you

I write custom code into text mode all of the time, but I frequently find myself guessing and playing "cat and mouse" with the valueformat. I usually have to try several different possible options to put into that field before the report returns something meaningful. Is there not a singular reference somewhere that lists out all of the different options for valueformat and their respective restrictions/applications? I feel like this should be somewhere in the documentation, or even the community, but I have been unable to find any such resource. Knowing what options and limitations there are would save me a ton of time just trying to get a report up and running.

Hello Community! I was wondering if anyone ever had any luck bringing in the details from the updates section into a report. And not the last update note, but for example, if someone changes the status of a project or something similar. We are trying to capture what the last update made was to a project. Is this something new? I don't recall seeing it mentioned in quarterly updates.  

We have several request queues that route requests to the correct project manager. Each queue is for a different project scope. We want to keep the name of the original queue in converted projects and in projects duplicated from the converted projects.The standard converted request fields are deleted when a project is copied which makes sense. Can I add some kind of calculated field to hold the name of the queue when the project is duplicated? 

When will Workfront have an option toggle switch for Dark Mode.  Please tell me this is on the roadmap.  I beg of you.

Workfront Community,A report that uses a custom column to show the program name linked to projects isn't fully sorting like I had hoped. It's sorts programs sporadically. For example, Program A with be listed six times in a row, then Program B and Program C will each have some entries, and then Program A will show up again with more entries. Hi all, I am new to the Workfront product. Do we know if it is possible to integrate it with CDP & AJO, I do believe so it can be done via API or AEP connector. Curious to here all your experiences. Regards,Celia

How can we set a default Request Queue for a user or team, so they only see the queue relevant to their operations?

Has anybody added the Planning tool to their existing Workfront instance? If so, did you do it all internally or did you hire a 3rd party consultant to help complete the setup process?  We are finalizing the contract to get Planning, so as the WF System Admin, I'm looking for advice on the best route to take.  If you have any updated tutorial videos or setup documentation that's more recent than March, that would be helpful too. Thanks!
