Adobe Target

Hi All,   I am trying run a target test which involves an mp4.The code runs absolutely fine when checked on console but when the same code is pushed via target, the video doesn't get rendered and the source of the video appears on the top of the div.   Doesn't target support mp4 ?Can someone pls help me with a solution to this ?Thank you so much in advance!

Can anyone here explain how bucketing works for A/B testing with native app (SDK)?

Hello everyone,   I want to create a dashboard of Adobe Target operational metrics like listed below. Can anyone please suggest what are the best ways to achieve this. Currently I maintain this data in an excel sheet (manually) and create a dashboard from excel data. Wondering if there is a better and automated way of doing this. Please share if you have any solution .   Some of the metrics I want in dashboard are below.  Long running activities (>20 days) Average number of days active activities is live Percentage of  A/B, MVT, XT & Recommendations activity Number of Activities with positive lift Number of activity live in a given week Thanks!

Hello all,   I'm working with a dev team to implement the at.js file on one of our sites and we keep seeing the "AT: request failed Error: Network request failed" and "AT: [page-init] View delivery error Error: Network Request failed" messages in the console of our dev environment, which is hosted behind a VPN.      When we view the page in the browser we can see the at.js file in the Network tab of the browser's dev tools, and can see it in the Adobe debugger Chrome extension tool as well. We can also bring the page into the Target visual editor and make updates there, however when we save and activate the activity the changes do not take effect on the page - both w/ the QA link and dev environment URL.    I saw that another thread was open for this issue for React, however I'm not sure which JS library our dev team is using, and wanted to provide some additional context for our case.    Thank you all, please let me know if I can provide any add

I wanted to have some information on Adobe Target recommendation limitation.   For fetching Entities in Target recommendation, maximum number of entities that can be referenced in a design, either hardcoded or via loops, is 99. Can this limit of 99 be increased? The MAX number of search results returned by API is 500. Can this limit of 500 be increased? Hi all, by adding 2 URLs to a campaign to drive more traffic, is it possible to add ICID tracking to the CTA links (we are adding to the test) on each page so we can track the individual data in Analytics?

There's a strange error in my Target provisioning in my internal sandbox. I am unable to create or edit any activity inspite of giving my users an editor right. Every user has a default role of 'Observer'. Is there anyone who has faced a similar issue before and any way to resolve it?   Regards, Ritesh Gupta

When specifying a traffic source based on referring LP Query, syntax wise how do I input the source? I.e. tracking affiliate traffic via utm_source contains affiliate | tracking paid traffic from google (not organic) utm_source contains google.  In the source box do I just input the source 'affiliate' or do I have to specify 'utm_source=affiliate'. Haven't had too much luck finding documentation for this. Thank you!  

Hi, I'm trying to build an experiment that will only be shown to users who have performed an action on the page. E.g. Only include the user in the experience if they have clicked on the "Help" menu on the page. How do I go about this?

We are trying to increase the accuracy of our conversion reporting for Adobe Target tests and experiences.   Does target allow us to tag a specific action on the site and send it as a conversion to adobe target?   When a user clicks a phone number or submits a particular form or takes a particular action we would like to trigger something that logs as a conversion.  Right now we're very limited with the built-in options for conversions.  Thank you!

Currently have recommendations displaying on all product detail pages via a JSON offer and a form builder activity. The recommendations are showing exactly as expected however none of the interactions with any of the recommended products is being captured in analytics. The implementation looks to be functionally sound with the exception of the click tracking. My hunch is that it has something to do with the load order of the first and second analytics call, something is loading out of order and not capturing the click event that is an out-of-the-box metric in Target. At one point the clicks were tracking but after a recent "slight" redesign of the site all click tracking associated with the recommended products has fallen off completely. I've looked at at.js version, a4t version, and visitor api version and everything looks to be inline with the configuration guidelines. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? Any help is appreciated.

  Hi,   We've had an A/B test with 1 variant running at Manual (50:50) traffic split for the last 7 days. However we're seeing more of a 65% 37% split in Visit and for unique visitor it is coming 64% 42%. Is there any reason for the test not being closer to 50%:50%? We are using Manual Splitting in Target.  

Hello, I understand the Visitor's Profile in Target expires after 90 days of inactivity (my company had it extended from the default 14 days). My question is, does either (a) uploading a new file via the Custom Attributes feature or (b) uploading data via Target's Bulk Profile Update API, renew the Visitor Profile lifetime even if the users themselves do not visit the web property within the 90 days. Hi All ,We are trying to replace some banners in carousel which will be different for different audience base, after creating activity when I checked QA URL we noticed that Target banners are getting overwritten by AEM banners(banners that we want to replace), further when I checked it in developers tool, I got to know that this is happening due to Lazy load function used to load images.Following are the things that I noticed in Developers tool( in case where I have changed second banner in carousel ),-Whenever my offer hits on page it replaces old banner with new Target offer banner ( until you slide to the second image ).-Default (old banner in second slide) is still not loaded cause of lazy load function.-Once you slide to second image Default (old banner) will load and overwrite Target banner.Is there any solution for this issue?

I am looking to fire a custom code on multiple pages. I have tried page delivery but it says 'And' when I need it to be 'Or'. I have also tried additional pages but it seems I have to add the custom code for each page.
