Adobe Target

Hello Team,I am trying to understand how traffic split happens when we have manual targeting with 50% traffic to A & B experience. If we make 10 request to pages, will that always divide  5 request to experience A and 5 request to experience B. Or any algorithm to decide the traffic to experiences A & B even we have given 50/50 %?. Because we are not seeing AB Testing report with traffic spit 50%.

Hi there,we are trying to pass multiple values as array list in the mbox parameter for recommendations (example in the screenshot below). Based on these parameter values, we want to create an exclusion such as mbox.prohibitedTypes - "itemType is not contained in list". Can someone please confirm if these normal parameters will be accepted by recs.We need list on both the sides -Here is an example of the use case -Thanks!

I'm following the guide located here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/id-service/using/implementation/ecid-a4t-target.html?lang=en However when I call visitor.generatePayload I get the following error: TypeError: visitor.generatePayload is not a function    at app.get (C:\aa\NodeMaster\index.js:34:32)    at Layer.handle [as handle_request] (C:\aa\NodeMaster\node_modules\express\lib\router\layer.js:95:5)    at next (C:\aa\NodeMaster\node_modules\express\lib\router\route.js:137:13)    at Route.dispatch (C:\aa\NodeMaster\node_modules\express\lib\router\route.js:112:3)    at Layer.handle [as handle_request] (C:\aa\NodeMaster\node_modules\express\lib\router\layer.js:95:5)    at C:\aa\NodeMaster\node_modules\express\lib\router\index.js:281:22    at Function.process_params (C:\aa\NodeMaster\node_modules\express\lib\router\index.js:341:12)    at next (C:\aa\NodeMaster\node_modules\express\lib

Hi everyone, when using mbox trace today I detected the property "bot" which returned the value true.Does anyone know what it means and why it is appearing? Thanks, Miriam

Can someone please guide me If we can integrate Adobe Target  with Non-Adobe Applications/Websites (eg: portal is created in react.js)  ? If yes, what are challenges and steps need to follow for this ? Thanks !

Hi, Our team is trying to setup an A/B test using an Experience Fragment. The colleague that did the last changes on the experience sees in the preview QA URL all the elements aligning properly; on my end and other colleagues there are some alignment issues. So the same preview URL is rendered differently on different machines. I tried clearing cache, going incognito, different browsers, clearing the preview with ?at_preview_token= parameter but nothing worked so far. What other investigation routes we might take?

My company is kicking off a big "modernization" project that involves updating our legacy web apps to a single-page-app architecture, and updating the way we use Target, Analytics, and the rest of the Experience Cloud. I would like to being experimenting with our Target setup. Can I safely enable on-device decisioning (under Administration > Implementation) for use with a locally-running development SPA, without impacting our production site?

Can anyone suggest top 5 best successful Usecases (like show popup for users etc..) to targeting audience in Insurance websites?

I have this targetPageParamsAll() in the AEM page which would return the user groups as an array.targetPageParamsAll = function() { var userGroups = "everyone,test1,test2,beta1"; var userGroups = userGroups.split(","); return { "userGroups": userGroups } };  Attaching a screenshot on the available mbox parameter w.r.t userGroups below, My requirement is to check whether the user belongs to a certain group and return that group name from the script. With the above highlighted, would I need to check each of these individual params(ranging from 0 to 16) and return for true cases. Is it possible I can get the userGroup as an array instead(var userGroups = mbox.param('userGroups');) and check whether the user belongs to a particular group(eg:beta1)? Some recommendations on this would be appreciated. Thanks!

If there are multiple changes/activities for a location and we have a different priority for each. How would target push the changes? If audience is same, then:1. Target push all changes to the page and then decide which one to show/execute.2. Target decide which one to show based on the priority and then push/execute that particular change on the page. My team believes it is the first one. However, I believe it is the second one. If audience is different, then:1. Target push all changes to the page and then decide which one to show/execute.2. Target will push all changes on the page and execute them since priority does not work across different audience group. However, since only one change (assuming it is an html change for a div or a paragraph) can show on the page at a time, the one that execute the last will show on the page. My team believes it is the first one. However, I believe it is the second one. Can someone please confirm?  Reference

How does Adobe Target decide which experience a visitor sees? I'm looking for more detailed information to satisfy internal stakeholders that the selection is random.

Hi, The activity QA URL does not show the testing variant--I have cleared cache, used the QA bookmark clearing code, tested in incognito and still no changeAny ideas what else to try? Thanks

I'm new to Target, I have created an experience targeting activity which has the audience order as per the screenshot. The 'All visitor', 'Chrome Browser' and then 'Firefox Browser'. I have a test account which falls inline with 'Chrome Browser' experience but since 'All visitor' is top audience then in such case which experience should be displayed for test account? Does the audience order matters? Thank you in advance!

Hello,I'm looking to utilize the auto-allocate feature for an A/B test but I'm wondering if its possible to use multiple goal metrics with the auto-allocate feature? I know you can only add one goal metric, however, within one goal metric you can add say multiple clicks on a page within the VEC that will qualify for that goal, does this work affectively or inflate any of the success metrics at all? Specifically, I'm looking to track click-through rates for my goal of the test so I would need to include multiple button clicks on the page under this goal. Thoughts?Thanks,-B

Hello everyone, I created the Criteria and  using Analytics Metric to determine the most viewed Article. Any suggestion why I cannot see the result from the criteria? For your information, I can see Article Page Views in my AA dashboard. And any suggestions, how to use Analytics behavior to recommend Product? Thanks

Hi all, I need to know the audiences being used for each of the campaign. Is there a way I can export the campaign name and the audiences being used or the other way audiences and campaigns being used? Thanks.Andrew

Hi The latest version of the Target delivery API does not reference the ability to pass through mbox parameters / profile parameters on the API call. Has that been deprecated ? Or is it possible? https://developers.adobetarget.com/api/delivery-api/ Thanks

When creating an Activity, is there any difference in targeting URLs based on an Audience (using Site Pages - Current Page) vs. specifying the URLs in the Activity Location?

Hi Team,     I have few questions on adobe.target.trackevent().  what is the life time for this param in this event??where this info will get saved?? Is there anyway to retrieve it after few days??  THank you

Hi,Is it possible to set up an experience based off which URL the visitor is coming from?I set below in Audience, but it doesn't trigger in my tests. Any ideas?Thank you!

Hi, When we use any of these algorithms ("People Who Viewed This, Bought That" or "People Who Bought This, Bought That"), I assume, Target uses some parameters which indicate that products were actually bought by the end users. My question is, does Target really use product 'buy' information? If yes, how do we pass this information to Target? thanks

Hi Adobe Community, I'm having an issue with a target experience, we have a product recommendation in the site home page using the "Most viewed products across the site" criteria and applied to all visitors as you'll see in the ss: But currently the experience is not being showed to all visitors as it should be, for example not everyone in our team is able to see the experience, for those people we checked the console network and the target request is succesful but the recommendations are not being displayed,  Have anyone experienced this issue? Thanks!

Hello,I'm running into perhaps an issue with the Auto-allocate tool and the "Winner" designation. Hoping someone can explain. We ended an A/B test that was using the auto-allocate traffic allocation feature and when looking at the results, we're seeing a Green star badge to the left of the experience name but NOT the "Winner" banner at the top of the activity. See screenshot attached. Were these results significant and do we in fact have a winner or was this test ended prematurely. Please advise!

Is it possible to list all Profiles which have been targeted by an Activity/Experience? Alternatively is it possible to look up a Profile (by tnt, Marketing cloud or third party ID) and see which Activities that Profile has been in?
