Adobe Target

Here's our situation: we set up our Recommendations catalog and entity attributes with both input from mbox parameters capturing on-page data and a feed using the Analytics Product Classifications import. For various reasons, we have 90%+ rows in the Classifications that are not saleable on the website. We'll work on cleaning that up, but until then, we're wondering how best to clean up the Reco catalog.We looked at using the API to remove entities, but the docs state that un-accessed entities will wash out of the catalog after 61 days, so maybe we can do nothing:How Do I Use Feeds in Target Recommendations? | Adobe Target So if we turn off the Classifications feed, any products not recorded in Target (or Analytics?) page views should be removed. However, the classifications are quite useful in making Collections and Exclusions. Will the entity attributes originally brought in with the Classifications feed persist as long as the product is still active? Specifically

HiOur team has been noticing a pressing issue with Adobe Target lately. To monitor its integration and implementation, we are running AA test and everything looks fine - traffic, split ratio etc. However, when we look into traffic data for AB test, we fail to understand why Adobe Target AB tests tend to pull limited traffic than the actual traffic. This has become a top priority issue for us since we always run into low sample size, leading to lack of significance and failed outcome from these tests. Any leads would be greatly appraciated!

we are trying to setup a new design for recommendations. everything works fine appart from language split.   goal: display different attributes based on page language   setup: in the target call we added a new parameter "language" that can be used in the design   problem: everything works fine and the mbox parameter gets populated correctly. however, we are not able to create any if-then-else clause based on this mbox parameter. whatever we tried, it failed.   what it might look like is something like this: --- #if( \${mbox.language} == "en" )   ## layout for en here #else   ## other layout here #end ---   question: anybody has a working example of an "if-then-else" using a mbox parameter?   thanks for any help!

I'm wondering what exactly is Adobe Target's "Page Views" tracking. More exactly I'm refering to:Does it track- only if the user is visiting that url just after the page where the Activity is set?- tracking every/any time the user is visiting that url during the user session?- would it track a url if it's the 3rd page visited after the activity page? Being A page where activity is set, and C the page view url: A -> B -> C

Hi Community,I have issue with the delivery call in the single page application. From the initial page load request target library is working. But in the History change delivery call is not firing. In the console i have checked the spa page by checking "adobe" version but it not showing. Hi, I am looking for ways to implement redirect offers in our SSR layer. The goal is to get/pre-fetch the knowledge about the redirects on the server already so we don't load any other stuff in the client browsers before the redirect happens. Ideally we pre fetch all redirects for that session, but if we need to fetch the tests for a particular page it is also fine.  Reading the documentation, i think i need the Delivery API's but i cannot find any example of how the response will look like when you created an activity with url redirects in adobe target. Also I would like to understand how redirects will work with server side implementations. We are using AT.js client side

Hello everyoneI am walking through the Implement Adobe Experience Cloud with Web SDK tutorial and now I am on the Set up Adobe Target with Platform Web SDK tutorial.  I have configured everything based on the tutorial but I am not getting any propositions back.  I have checked my work and reviewed the tutorials multiple times but so far I have not figured out what I might have missed or misconfigured.  If anyone has encountered this before and know the issue, please let me know.  It will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Adobe Team, What solutions currently exist within Adobe Target that would give users the ability to QA an experience that has geo-targeted audiences? Outside of users having to use their own VPN to spoof the location, is there any tool that Adobe can develop to help QA experiences with geo-targeted audiences to ensure they are working properly? Please let me know - thanks for your time. Ryan

Hello,We plan on creating an AB Test activity. However, it will be set up with three experiences - A will be the control, B will be the first (different) experience and C will be a second (different) experience.Question: If a visitor qualifies for the audience and enters the activity the first time, I believe he will get a random experience, either A or B or C.On that visitor's subsequent visits, will he see the same experience again or will Target show him a randomly selected experience? We'd like to show a different experience each time a visitor visits. If he will see the same experience again, I'm thinking of setting up a profile script although I still don't know how this could be achieved and what the logic should be. Please advise and if I need a script, point me in the right direction or provide the script if it exists. Thanks!

How to build the below audience criteria in Adobe target:1. To check if the user is coming from mobile2. To check is he is accessing XYZ URL3. And the user limit crosses 500 Can someone please help on this. 1 and 2 should be achievable by using the target attributes directly. But 3 is a little tricky one.

I know we can set a audience segment in AA filtering visitor behavior in the past, when they come back again on the website and their previous behavior meet the segment setting, we provide them with different experience using Adobe Target.But can we also add criteria that contains their real-time visiting behavior such as " browsed more than 1.5 minutes on certain page within this current visit", and "more than 3 pages already during this current visit".Which means we need a rea-time timer set on the current visit for certain group of audience segment beyond their historical behavior.Is that applicable?Thank you

Hello,I'm experiencing an issue with the Adobe Recommendations API when using the save entities endpoint to update entity names and thumbnail URLs. Despite successfully updating over 120 entities three weeks ago, they were overwritten with the initial values a couple of days ago. This problem started occurring a couple of days ago, and when updating to custom names and images, they doesn't persist anymore. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use the save entities endpoint to update the name and thumbnail URL of an entity.2. Validate the change using the get entity endpoint.
