Adobe Target

Hello, brand new to Adobe Target and new to these forums, but glad i've found a place where i can look to others for advance.I've been on the training course, but it was still high level and not really tailored to an eCommerce site.  So hope you can help with this one.I have a site that has over a million products.   If i hand picked 500 of these products and wanted to display a common message on their product detail pages.  Is this even possible?I.e can i set up a target or segment based on a long list of SKU's that i can upload to Target or Analytics?Hopefully the above makes sense and is a really simple Q to answer.Thanks

Hi,I'm doing some tests for integrate Test&Target with DTM on a prestashop web site but, when I'm going to create for example a new activity I have net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS in the compose.What could be the problem?

I am working on a POC for calling profile parameters in an mbox, and I see plenty of instruction for how to do this in Target Classic, but nothing in Target Standard. Is anyone doing this now?

We're trying to test a new navigation. In order to do this, we serve both navs and then using Target, we add a script to the test variant that hides the old nav and shows the new one. It's three lines of JS. However, we've experienced both a flicker and it will go back and forth from test to control for the same visitor. Adobe told me to just do it through Visual Editor, but that would frankly be a lot of work. Anyone have any good workarounds?

I have both my Test & Target and Site Catalyst tracking order conversion on the last page of checkout.  But I am seeing drastically different numbers.  Can anyone make suggestions on why there are such large discrepancies in the numbers or where to start looking? I am new to both Site Catalyst and Test & Target so this may be a pretty generic question.

I created an AB test and created a modal to appear as visitors first enter site on homepage using the code editor. The variations appear as they should in the editor and the browse function, but do not appear in the preview links or live on the site when the test is active. I recreated the test in a new activity and was more specific on the audience, but the variations still do not appear in the preview or live. Is this an mbox issue, a coding on the site issue, or a code editor issue?

I cannot place an MBOX on my success confirmation page, so instead I would like to check the value of a cookie to determine if there was a success. When the user returns to my homepage, i would like to check the value of that cookie and remove them from the test and trigger a success.Possible?

I have a scenario to use both Target and DTM. How can we use cloud solutions(Target and DTM) to integrate with AEM in optimal way to achieve faster response. Currently we have lot of performance implications using DTE and/or Target. Please share best practices and performance check list on DTM ,Target and AEM integrations.Another concern is imposing restrictions to the author to use only specific set of segments and traits in the applications. How can we implement that currently we have 3 roles in target and it doesn't support the scenario.  Thanks

We are planning to integrate Adobe Target with AEM components to provide personalized content to our end users. We tried to access to Adobe Marketing Cloud Dashboard but saw that Adobe Target has not been activated yet (see screenshot below). Can you tell me how to activate Adobe Target as soon as possible? Who should I contact to make this request?Thanks in advance

Hi - we've noticed that redirect tests no longer work properly with the Chrome browser - the latency is so bad it's unusable. We never had this problem in the past, so wondering is anyone else has this problem?thank you, Richard 

We use AT.js and trying to retrieve the value of certain parameter stored in global mbox via concurrent campaign.It seems mbox.js has a method for that, but this page says it does not apply AT.js.https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/target/target/r_variables_profiles_parameters_methods.html Is there any method or workaround with AT.js to do this?

Hi Folks - I am facing an issue with Target --> DTM --> Web Page (AEM Web page in this case - but we are not using AEM based Targeting). Here is what I have done.Scenario 1: Custom Mbox - Works1.       Loaded Target through DTM.2.       Created a Custom MBOX through DTM.3.       Created the Activity in Targetusing “Form” option4.       Selected the custom mbox and added the HTML content.5.       Activated the activity6.       It loads fine on the page, no problems.Scenario 2: Global Mbox - Doesn;t work.1.       Loaded the Target through DTM.2.       Created an audience and selected default global mbox and set the criteria.3.       Created Activity using Visual Experience Composer and added the audience created in step #24.       Activated the activity5.       It doesn’t load on the page.Any Idea what I am missing ?My web page is in AEM 6.2. I am loading DTM using cloud config. and the Target is added into DTM. Target mbox version is 62.Any help is greatly appreciated guys. Thanks

Hi We are moving from H27.5 to Appmeasurement.js and I am getting the below error in the console when the page loads, this was not there before the upgrade, I have altered the 'TNT Integration Plugin v2.0H' so that we use 's.Util.getQueryParam' but still the error is showing and there is no analytics call going off. Cannot read property 's_tnt' of undefinedIn the doPlugins sections we just call s.track() s.tnt = s.trackTNT();Any ideas on how to fix this, is there a later version of the plugin that will work with appmeasurement as we are not ready to move to A4T yet? 

Hi Can someone explain with an example how I can use a custom attribute as key in the recommendation criteria. The documentation for making a custom attribute a key in a crieria says that"Recommendation is determined by an item that is stored in a visitor's profile, using either user.<x> or profile.<x>attributes.When this option is selected, the entity.id value must be present in the profile attribute" It would be great to have an sample example.When I try to save a criteria with a custom attribute key using logic of item with similar attribute, I get the error has invalid fields. Something that I am missing? ThanksManpreet

Hello! I'm trying to A/B Test a button that's in our global header navigation. I wanted to capture click conversions on this particular element but am finding that I can only specify the clicked element on a single page. Is there a way to track the element's click regardless of where the user is on the site?Thanks

Hello,I hope someone can help me understand how I can build a trigger in Target to only call the test if a certain button is clicked.We have a webpage with two buttons (1) and (2), upon clicking either button the page will show content (different for each).We have a direct call happening for Analytics which pushes a datalayer value as a eVar upon click of each of the buttons.In relation to target and the reason for this post, I have a simple A/B test, however I'd like this only to work if button (2) is clicked. Not on page load. Reason for this is that it will remove noise and the people who click on button (1).Can anyone help me understand the best approach to code this test up to answer the aboveThanks

I'm doing a test of different button styles. A new class has not been created in our style sheets because updating CSS for our entire site is a big lift to do without first testing it (which is why I'm setting up an A/B test). When it comes to CSS, it only shows me the option of updating the class. How would I go about changing the rest, hover, and clicked state CSS of this button?

Hi all, I want to know what the different options are around integrating AEM and Target and there respective positives and negatives.From what I can see, there are the following options1.  Using DTM and adding a toolor 2. Creating a Cloud Services Config in AEM for Target.Are there any benefits to either method?Many thanks,Dave

Here's the scenario:Test 1 is on the main landing page. I want to create a second test (Test 2) whose test page will be two pages farther into the funnel from Test 1.Test 2's test page cannot be accessed directly. Any traffic that visits Test 2's test page can only get to that page if they have first visited Test 1's test page.I would prefer that the two tests remain mutually exclusive from one another for cleaner data. So, in order to do that I must:1) Reduce the amount of traffic Test 1 is consuming. If Test 1 consumes all the traffic from its test page there won't be any traffic that hits Test 2's test page that hasn't already been subjected to Test 1. So, Test 1's traffic must be reduced in order to let some 'untainted traffic' flow through to Test 2's test page2) Set up an exclusion rule on Test 2 saying that all traffic that was subjected to Test 1 should be excluded from entering Test 2. The remaining traffic that has not been subjected to Test 1 will be entered into Test 2. I b

Hello,I have 3 campaigns that has overlaps on test pages.  For example I have this:Campaign 1: Homepage and Cart PageCampaign 2: Homepage and Product Page.Campaign 3: Cart PageIf I have these separate campaigns, what is the best practice of running these tests at the same time but mutually exclusive from each other?
