We have a lot of leads on our database that are not active or not assigned to any mailing list. Our company has multiple brands under it and we would like to know what brand these leads belong to.    I have tried checking the "Person Source" field, and a lot of them have been imported through List Imports.  1) Is it possible to determine who made those list imports? (If we get to know who made them, possibly through the Audit Trail functionality), it might be possible to assign them to one of the brands under our company.   I have also found the "Aquisition Program Name" field to be useful. But even then all the leads don't have that field filled out. 2) Any suggestions on other fields I can look into which might hold some clue as to how these leads were imported (or what brands these leads may belong to) ?

I am developing a microsite that will be integrated with our Marketo instance. I am interested in using React to build the site. Two questions:Will Marketo munchkin code work on a React website? Forms?If it does work fine, any watchouts or documentation on how to integrate with Marketo?Thanks so much!

Hello,   Does anyone have experience with a predictive lead scoring platform? I'm looking at Infer and Madkudu - leaning more towards Madkudu. I'm curious if anyone has used any of these platforms or similar tools for predictive lead scoring and can share your learnings and insights.   I have concerns about our database hygiene and the reps keep assuring me that they have enough third party data to still make it work, but our first party data is kind of a mess and I'm not fully confident we'll get the results we're hoping for because of it.

Hi there!    I started tracking growth in a segment in April. I am now trying to track down numbers for that segment in January Feb and March. Is there a way to track segment growth over time? 

Here's the scenario:   Someone came to our site and filled out a form. The campaign that owns the form sent an email alert to the account owner that the form was filled out, and created a task in SFDC for the account owner to follow up with the lead. It was also SUPPOSED to add this person to an SFDC campaign.    However, the lead was already unsubscribed, therefore, imported into Marketo as unsubscribed. Per our operational campaigns, they were deleted from Marketo 24 hours later, but NOT from SFDC. I have a record of them being put back into Marketo 2 days later from a salesforce sync but still as unsubscribed.   This person is not showing up in the Salesforce campaign and there's not an active Trigger in Marketo that would have deleted or removed them. Why wouldn't they be in the Salesforce campaign?    

Hi all -    So I have a language parameter in our URLs. For example, ?lang=fr . I also have a Preferred Language field in Marketo. What I'd like to do/curious about how to do this, is take that URL parameter and incorporate some logic to write that field.    I know I can create a campaign that looks for people who :visited any web page with querrysting containing ?lang=fr" but that only works for "known" people.    Any tips on ways to do this for anonymous people? Or ways to basically make it functional at a more global level. 

Hi,I would be grateful if someone can direct me towards a solution. I have a number of email campaigns created in Marketo. I need to create a report to show activities (sent, opened, clicked etc) for each campaign. I can connect to Marketo REST API using Alteryx connector and can access the activity data. But need some guidance on how to link the data with specific campaign (email). All I need is an example of a similar scenario.Thanks,FA

Hi all,we have a client that uses SAP Commerce as ecommerce solution and would like to use Marketo to send cross/up- selling emails. With the integration would that be achievable? I am aware of the integration for Abbandoned Cart use case scenarios, but have never seen it for cross-up selling.Thanks

We're using a webhook to push all of our leads into Microsoft Dynamics, which once it hits MSD, it runs as a web inquiry. We are running into having duplicates created every time a lead goes into CRM, then comes back to Marketo.    We have figured out a solution for new leads by merging the Marketo contact with the CRM created one, but with leads that are either already opportunities or have a past opportunity: the new lead information matches with that opportunity inside of Marketo --> goes through the webhook/web inquiry --> a new lead comes back into Marketo from CRM. The problem is that we can't merge two MSD records.    Is there a way to create an operational smart campaign that pushes the Marketo created lead information to the lead created by CRM? Because at this moment, we have partial lead information on the opportunity and lead. 

Hi,   I have a group of 8K people that I would like to send emails to once a week, but only to 300 at a time. Is there a way to create a smart campaign that could add 300 leads to a nurture program once a week from a smart list? My guess is no, but just wanted to be sure before manually creating lists of 300 people..

Hey there. We've set up a webinar program & the event name in GTW was changed after we activated the Fills Out Form Active Trigger and sent our first email invite.    As a result, these people are in the SFDC campaign, and their Marketo status is updated, but they aren't being added to GTW (which is where we send the link to join & reminder emails).   Unfortunately, I can't change the event name in Marketo now -- I get the following error message when I attempt to: "The webinar settings can not be modified once there are members in the event"   I've also tried to refresh from Webinar provider but no luck.   Has this happened to anyone before & were you able to find a solution?

If I make an email operational, can I still exclude unsubscribes in the smart list? Or does making an email operational bypass that? We just want to make it operational to bypass the marketing suspended, but still exclude unsubs. 

Our emails display correctly when previewed in Marketo using the desktop and mobile device views. Our emails also display fine when tests are sent. We have some users receiving our emails and the emails are still legible but the message content (text, photos, links, etc) is significantly smaller when opened on a mobile device. Could this be due to the mail client? If so, are we able to fix this on our end?

Hi Everyone, I am facing an unexpected error while creating an email draft. While trying to add any image in the email template, I am getting the error " Invalid Image URL". Can you help me understand why this may be happening and what can be done to resolve this error?

I'm looking to keep url querystring parameters in a url string when passed from my 3rd party https page to my https marketo page before munchkin loads so I can trigger off the "Visits Web Page" trigger. Thanks!

I'm trying to setup a daily subscription for people who submit a specific form in only the last 24 hours (ie. not a cumulative report).                       Given the daily subscription cadence is in the morning (around 4am I believe), to ensure I am never leaving anyone out, is it best to use "in past 24 hours" or "in past 1 day"? 

Looking for ideas on the best way to manage this...   We were changing around an existing Engagement Program that had a single stream with all Programs in the stream. The single stream was broken up into two streams and the programs moved into each of the two streams as appropriate. The original stream had all programs de-activated.   We moved people from the original single stream into one of the two new streams as well as pushed new people into the one of the new streams. All looked good. Then we let the engagement program run for a month with casts each week. Unfortunately, we just discovered that emails from the new Streams never went out. This was because the Send smart campaigns in the Programs had a filter of Member of Engagement Program and specified the original Stream, not one of the new one Streams. So with each cast, the people that would have otherwise qualified for the email were skipped because they were not in the right stream.    I believe that just

I am a developer and I want to build a system to retrieve Marketo activities like Email Delivered, Click Email, Unsubscribe Email via Activity Bulk Export API to compute campaign performance (Open Rate, Unsubscribe Rate, Unsubscribe Click Rate etc.).  The result should be similar with what is computed in smart campaign email tab.   1. About retrieving data and campaign run id field The campaign could be sent to some leads in one day and some other leads in the other day. I want to get performance separately for each sending. For example if a campaign send 1000 emails on 11/01 with 500 opened and 1000 leads on 11/02 with 300 opened, the computation result should be:   Date Open Rate ... 11/01 50% (500/1000)   11/02 30% (300/1000)   Overall 40% (800/2000)   However it would be hard if I log all leads that are sent for each day and filter following open/click activities by lead. Hey there! Little new to this, so I apologize in advance for any missing information - we are looking to set up a Zap that will allow us to send a "Welcome!" SMS (through Zipwhip) once a new customer signs up and is added to our new customer Smart List. Reviewing a few different forums, I'm getting a little confused with the Marketo webhooks and Webhooks by Zapier. Within Zapier, my Marketo options are limited to lead fields, so I'm sure I'm messing something up here. Any guidance to get the ball rolling is GREATLY appreciated! Thank you! 

Hello, Is it possible to restrict access to certain email templates in the Email Editor for marketing users? We have a set of email templates alongside an 'In Development' folder in which templates going through bug fixes, design tweaks etc. sit in Design Studio. At the moment all of these are visible to marketing users through the Email Editor. Is it possible to change permissions so only the final email templates (not those in development) appear?
