Hello,I'm facing an issue with syncing a Salesforce custom object, Customer_Interaction, to both Lead and Contact in MKTO. (Simplified ER Model):Problem:When I enable the sync of Customer_Interaction in MKTO for the first object (either Lead or Contact), it works perfectly. However, when I attempt to enable it for the second object, MKTO returns the following error message: Spoiler (Highlight to read)"An object with the same name is currently enabled for sync. Hello Community, I've been trying to create a velocity script token that will output a clickable URL that contains lead token data but replace certain lead token data with "-99" if the tokens are empty. This is what the URL normally looks like when we use it in email:http://{{lead.Cruise GoTo URL}}&member_id={{lead.member id}}&name_id={{lead.name id}}&cruiseLineId={{lead.Cruise Line Code}}&cruiseDestinationId={{Lead.Cruise Destination Code}}&sort=4&ls=cruises/promos/new/cruise_search.jsp However, not all tokens will be populated with data, specifically the "Cruise Line Code" and "Cruise Destination Code". I've been trying to use this script below, but to no avail 😥  Of course the team is requesting this at the ninth hour and I'm scrambling to build it. Does anyone have any suggestions? #set( $cruiseGoToURL = $lead.cruiseURL) #set( $memberId = $lead.memberId ) #set( $nameId = $lead.nameId ) #set( $cruiseLineCode = $

Hello, I am trying to set a URL in velocity script based on lead data. I do not want to pass any CTA copy in the velocity, how can I set URLs without putting the URLs in a tags? We will be using these links in multiple places in the email, so simply want to pass the URL only, no other formatting. I recently loaded a new file (tried both a PDF and JPEG) to Design Studio to receive a URL to host in my comm and the URL is unencrypted. Did something change with Marketo? I receive an error message that the link is not safe when I send the test email to myself. I connected with our internal IT team, and they guided me back to Marketo for resolution since the link is unencrypted (http) but is being redirected to encrypted (https) URL. Help please!

Hello, I'm looking into how we can make Marketo to create a new record in the database on each form submission. Has anyone dealt with that?I tried changing the dedupe rule with support, but apparently system fields as 'created at' cannot be used in this case. The walkaround described in Bypass Marketo dedupe rules to create new leads every time is not really satisfactory for us.Is anyone able to share any tips or ideas? Thanks,Monika

We are looking to move to global forms and want to be able to use the same form, but change the CTA text regardless if we are using Marketo LPs or embedding the form on outside pages. I assume there is some script that can be written to modify it, but not sure how to go about implementing or creating that.  Any help would be great.

I am new to Marketo and am trying to prompt a second email to be sent out based on a group of users having received a first email. My Smartlist for the second email is returning no users when there almost certain should be results based on the "first" email being sent out. There are filters setup on the secondary email, but even those do not appear to yield results to show users.

Currently, I am facing an issue where the ID is filled in the HTML, but the activity log of the click does not contain any link ID information if it was filled via lead tokens. What's my use case?A user can start a process by filling out a form. This process will get a unique ID we create in the background. To finish the process, the user has to click a link in an email. A user can start another process before the first process is finished by submitting the form again with different data. In that case, the first process can't be finished anymore. All of our LPs seem to be redirecting to a random page on our website. They "preview" as they are supposed to, but when you visit the link directly it takes you somewhere else. There haven't been any sweeping edits to our templates or forms today, and when you view the audit trail there are no admin changes that could have caused this. We opened a support ticket but in the meantime, any ideas what's happening? EDIT: The landing pages are all redirecting to our fallback page, but we don't know why.

Hi - Has anyone seen a spike in email bot activity from emails that include CVENT links?  We saw a huge bot activity spike from two emails with CVENT links in them. All other emails sent that day did not include CVENT links and did not show any unusual bot activity. Would love to hear about any experiences.Thanks. 

I need the output of a velocity script to include just the URL (and non of the URL parameters that follow the ? (stripping out the ? as well).  Can you velocity gurus assist?  I'm thinking I need to use "TruncateAtWord".

Hi, I faced a similar issue. I used to get an 'access token expired' error message from marketo. To fix the issue, we adopted a naive approach of checking if the 'expires-in' for a particular token is less than 10s,then we added a delay of 11s using Javascript setTimeout wrapped in a promise to call the identity endpoint to generate a new token. This will create a new token each time when 'expires-in' for a current time is less than 10s but the catch here is technically my AWS lambda function is taking 11s more for executing which eventually will increase the lambda costing. Please suggest some alternatives to solve this problem. Although each of our operations takes less than 5 sec and token expiring is a rarity. We are dealing with sensitive data here and can't afford this problem.

Has anyone received this message when uploading the HTML code provided from Knak and importing it to a new Marketing Landing Page Template? Hi,I have a number of jobs that connect to marketo to download or upload data via RESTAPI.each one connects, and geta a session token:<logsnip>Token: b181289f-013d-4075-bda4-80a4583071a9:ab and expires in 0So I added a check for the expiration:   and if expired, get a new token.   try 2nd time to get a token: b181289f-013d-4075-bda4-80a4583071a9:ab returned same expired token returned.obvious result when using CURL: {"requestId":"c500#153609e0084","success":false,"errors":[{"code":"602","message":"Access token expired"}]}Why do i get an expired token, and why do i get the same expired token a 2nd time, even after checking?This job typically runs in seconds and only grabs a few 100k of data.Its not always the same job either.  it could be the first one of the morning, or the 3rd one, 45 minutes later.

Hi!We are not able to re-authorize our current LI integration or to authorize a new LI integration in Marketo. Please see screens attached. Even though we have a valid account user on LI that has access to all LI Business Accounts and has Lead Gen Form Manager Permissions, it shows that the user is undefined, and then when we want to (re)authorize and click "Next" we always see the attached error page from the LI end saying that "the application is disabled"... Has anyone experienced it? What would be the cause here? I know LI is upgrading their marketing APIs, but I don't think this is an actual cause. Please help 🙏   

I'm new in forms and would like to figure out if there is a way to hide the company name field if it has already been filled out before? Will also need to add a button that company name can be change incase the registrant want to update it. Is this possible?
