Customers often ask what behaviors they should expect when they have multiple lead partitions with matching workspaces for Marketo assets, specifically related to form submissions.   In this discussion, we'll have two partitions, North America Data and Europe Data, and two matching workspaces, one for North America Assets and the other for Europe Assets. you'll be able to tell the forms apart by the flags. 🙂 In the simplest case and using the default dedupe rule (email only), if HBurns@Gmail.com fills out the North America Form, his record is added to or updated in the North America partition. If he then fills out the Europe form, the record in the North America is updated.  (If you're wondering if I tested all of this, I did! I also re-tested it when writing this blog). I'm attempting to create a nurture that sends email 1 once a lead has been assigned to sellers for 7 days with no activity (activity being indicated by "lead status", I have that criteria taken care of). I've attempted to use a filter of "data value changes" using the field "last assigned date" and the stipulation of "in past before" 7 days, but I know there are leads that meet this criteria but are not being pulled by Marketo.   Any thoughts as to how to achieve this, via a batch or triggered campaign?

I cannot find an answer on any of the forums and the customer live chat is ignoring me and not answering:   How do I add a default from: name and email to a template? I am in Design Studio > Email Templates > (the email). When I create an email from this template I have to repeatedly hand-type the from name, from address etc into the email, I’d like to have a default (name@company.com)

Hi everyone,   When we insert a link with an internal jumplink (i.e., www.example.com#form-- note: just an example, not a real URL) into the URL on an email module including a CTA button, it does not work. Instead, the jumplink portion seems to be erased, so it just goes to, hypothetically, www.example.com.   When I click on the button in a sample email or in the preview, it renders as www.example.com + a bunch of Marketo munchkin code and ends with #form?    I am not sure why the question mark is being added. I've double-checked that in the URL field in the email module, there isn't an extra space at the end of the URL.   However, the jumplink hyperlink works correctly when I insert hyperlinks directly into the text box. It only seems to be an issue with buttons.   Any insights into why this is happening? I'm trying to help one of our designers with Form troubleshooting. Field labels should align left above the fields. He says when page loads the labels first show up, for a second, aligned left, then indent towards the middle as shown in the image. Ideas? Hi, Strange one here.  We needed to send from a new domain.  Followed steps as usual - I can see DKIM and SPF are verified.  Worked fine for a couple of months, now all of a sudden the emails are hitting the Spam. Anyone shed some light on this?

Hello Marketo Ninjas,   When I embed a Video file link in Marketo email, a recipient - when she/he clicks on the link causes the 'download as' pop box appear that causes the file to download. Instead I need to open it in a browser window.   Is there any way I can configure this using the UI or tweaking the html code behind it?   Regards, Manish

Hi all,   I am not sure what board is more appropriate for this question, so please move to the right board!   I need to find the activityTypeId for the activityTypeName called "Change Program Member Data". We don't have any data for this type of activity but all activity types have an ID for auditing purposes. Please point me to where I can find this information.   These are example activityTypeName's with corresponding activityTypeId's for reference "Add to List", 24 "Change Data Value", 13 "New Lead", 12   Thank you in advance.

We have Marketo integrated into our website pages and our team has requested a form to appear on click as a pop up from a CTA. Hi, What's the difference between the smart list filter Was Delivered Email and Was Sent Email. I assume the sent filter captures emails sent out but the delivered filter captures # of emails audiences actually received. Are there any use cases for two filters? Which filter is more practical (capture the number accurately) when the deliverability rate is really high? Thanks, Felicia

Hi guys, I created an email that uses a velocity token, it reads a field and returns a URL. It is working on the email preview when I pick the records in Marketo, but once I try a sample send or a real test, it shows a 403 Forbidden page saying it can’t access a long unreadable path.   This is the token ({{my.MyResourceURL}}) I use to get the URL:     #if(${lead.utm_field} == "HowToAutomate") meet.companay.co/rs/123-AAA-456/images/How%20To%20Automate.pdf #elseif(${lead.utm_field} == "SmallGuide") meet.companay.co/rs/123-AAA-456/images/Small%20Guide.pdf #else companay.co/ #end       And this is how I use it on my CTA. We have a requirement to create a Global campaign report which should list all campaign created across different workspaces.   Ideally, we would like to populate campaign performance report grouped by Campaign names under each region/Country. Global workspace lists only the campaigns from Global workspace but not from other workspaces. We tried overcoming this situation by creating an Admin workspace with "All Partitions and workspaces" assigned but its still showing only the campaigns that were created under Admin workspace.    We have also tried Revenue Cycle model where it allows to edit the "Transition Actions" with smart list enabled. But this again shows the campaigns created under Global Campaigns while applyting "Campaign was Executed" filter.    Any thoughts??

Occasionally, we remove people from specific newsletters to comply with business rules. In these cases, we need to remove the "check" from the "Checkboxes" field for associated newsletter on the subscription center form. Though it is easy to add values to a list using Smart Campaign Change Data Value, I was wondering how to remove them if necessary. Any ideas?    For eg: Current value is "Newsletter 1; Newsletter 2; Newsletter 3" We would like to remove "Newsletter 2" through a Smart Campaign flow step.

I'm trying to set up a batch campaign for a flow action that removes a data value at the beginning of every calendar year. The issue I'm running into is Marketo only allows scheduling a recurring campaign by days, weeks, or months. I'd really like to automate this process instead of worrying about remembering to set it every year.   Has anyone been able to figure out a workaround for this?
