Hello,  following situation:Lead A) and B) are employees of company XY.Company XY has a quota of 100 euros.I have stored this quota as a „score" for Lead A) and B). When Lead A) books a training course for 50 Euros, for example, the score for Lead B) should also be reduced to 50 Euros. I can't find a way to change the score of a lead in relation to a change of another lead with the same value.... Does anyone have an idea or is my approach completely wrong?

Hello, I'm managing Marketo with using a simple management way of adding behavior score now. For ex, adding 10 point when a user visits our web page, and other case adding 100 points when a user watch our webinar. And now, if possible, I want to manage the adding score more complex way depending on the products as below: ex1. Visit web page of Product A -> Adding 5 points Visit web page of Product B -> Adding 10 points, because we need to focus on product B more than Product A   ex2. Attend a webinar of Product A -> Adding 50 points Attend a webinar of Product B -> Adding 100 points, because we need to focus on product B more than Product A   But now, I am using a program status change's trigger of smart campaign to add a behavior score, so it is difficult to know the product of the customer's behavior.   Can I have a standard way to do this kind of scoring control depending on the kind of product?         Thank you

When I use the trigger "visits web page" contains "pdf link," it doesn't track my views. I've tried contains "the Marketo URL," but that doesn't work either. When I do "clicked link in email" contains "pdf link," I populate on the list. Hi!For various marketing activities we are used to clone existing Program with a smart campaign and modify the clone.Currently it is manual process and I am working on automation. So everything has to be done via rest api.I have local token {{my.briefingID}} in my template program.The template has smart campaign where smart list contains Data value changes trigger set to {{my.briefingID}} and filter set to {{my.briefingID}}I can successfully clone my template program.Then I change value of my {{my.briefingID}} in the new program.I activate my campaign.I add users with proper briefingID to my list.Unfortunately it appears tokens are not working in smart lists triggers and filters.Can't find documented info that tokens are not supported as trigger and filter values, but my campaign is not firing.Please suggest how to deal with the situation.Are there any workarounds i can use?

Hi Marketo Team, We use Marketo REST APIs to fetch leads from our customers' Marketo instances into our backend on a daily basis. Today (Thursday 2022/11/10), around 6:30PM PST, we suddenly started seeing a lot of Error 611 responses across many of our customers' instances (more than 80).   Here's an example URL that's failing:  https://178-ZFH-705.mktorest.com/rest/v1/leads.json?access_token=<access_token>   And here's the response: {"requestId":"929a#184657d2be4","success":false,"errors":[{"code":"611","message":"System error"}]}   Retrying doesn't seem to help, but after a while, with a slightly different payload, some of the calls are succeeding. Nothing has changed on our end on how we call these APIs recently. Also, only the `leads.json` endpoint is breaking. All others seem fine. Are you seeing any system issues?   EDIT: I'm now seeing a retry with the same URL, access token and payload succeeding.

Hello friendly people,   I just wanted to create a form with a date selector and put a token here: The token I have in my program is {{my.00_Webinar_Date}}. When I insert that, my editor crashes. It's greyed out and nothing moves. When I refresh my browser, my form looks like this:   As if the central frame didn't want to load anymore. There's nothing else I can except to delete that draft and start over.   Now here comes the _really_ wierd thing. It seems that this only occurs if my token starts with a numeral - like "0" in this case. I can save something like this: That still makes my editor look very funky, but at least it's still functional:   Does anybody know what's going on here?    

Good day, I am looking for a way to create a new person/lead based on an email address that is stored in a SFDC Custom Field. I have synced the SFDC Customer Field to Marketo. Now I am trying to use the data (an email) in that field to create a new person. Is this even possible? If yes, how?!? I was thinking to use the data in the field as a token to create a new lead, but I see nowhere the possibility in a flow to create a new lead. Any ideas?Thanks, Marit.

I'm looking at setting up an alert to help me spot errors in our integration.  For example, is there a way to set up an alert email that isn't triggered on every error, but rather if a certain threshold of errors happen one day. i.e. say 50 people fail to sync to our CRM, send an alert...there is a field in Marketo that would tell me if the sync failed, I just don't want that alert email to trigger unless a large number fail to sync....

Hi Does anyone know of a good way to handle situations where someone inadvertently  inserts an oversized image into an email through the mktoImg ImagePicker?Even though I have a max-width hard-coded and locked, Outlook will still render the original width and blow out the template. I know I could hard-code the image width for Outlook clients but I also need to handlesmaller widths as well.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.  

I'm looking to create a program for internal use only that will essentially send me an "alert/notification" if a program does not meet a specific threshold (5 total emails sent) or surpasses a threshold (was sent more than 100 emails) on any given day.   Marketo isn't really designed with this functionality as it's based on individual records rather than the aggregate of programs or tasks. Obviously, I can subscribe to an Email or Program Performance Report set to daily and manually check the activity, however, the volume of emails would be overwhelming which I am trying to avoid. I'd like to be notified only in the event something is amiss.   The reason for this is we have two SalesForce orgs that go through a middleware into Marketo. Occasionally code "breaks" in the middleware resulting in either zero or hundreds of records qualifying for programs and receiving emails - which needs to be flagged within 1 day rather than weeks potentially.   What do you think is the be

Hi all,I have a problem with marketo tracking, maybe some of you can help me to understand how to fix the problem.I have created a program in which I have sync a SF database, then I have created an email in marketo and this email redirect to an external Lp in which I have put the Munchkin code to track all the activities. In this external lp is present a form.All the activities done on the email are tracked correctly, while the activities on the lp are visible only after people fill in the form. This is a big problem for us because no actions result visible.People who click on the lp are all known visitor so I expect they are recognize.Do you have some suggestion to fix this issue?Many thanks!Margherita

Hey everyone! I am working through an issue that I could use some guidance on.We used to host all our content on marketo landing pages, from my understanding this works very well for the "Acquired By" selector being populated. Now we host all our content on our website. I have worked through some of the issues and now all the acquisition programs are being filled out, but we still have a lot of people coming in with no person source. This is how the agency set up the lead source program before I was here. (See Image) Because we are hosting on Wordpress now, from my understanding "Acquired By" now does not function.   Does it make sense for me to just remove the acquired by and simply make sure the field is blocked from updates, as the person source should only get filled out once? Or stop it from being updated in the flow. Thoughts? 

I read somewhere in the community that Marketo is working on a feature that will allow users to swap email or landing page template. Is there a planned release date?

Hi all!   I'm working on a new nurture series. This is the email sequence that I would like to use. Would you recommend a set of triggered smart campaigns or an engagement program? Email 1 will be triggered to be sent by being added to a static list.     Right now I have it all set up with trigger smart campaigns, but was wondering when/if an engagement program is better. I keep seeing this error on some records as updates sync to Salesforce. It appears the Marketo updates successfully sync to Salesforce, but then none of the updates form the Salesforce record sync back to Marketo. The error just says "Failed: Failed updating marketo" - has anyone else encountered this?    

We have solution tags in the backend of our webpages - every page is tagged with a solution area. Now we want to use these tags for our interest scoring/solution scoring.   Example: I visit the webpage example.com/how-to-forecast with a tag in the backend: analytics.   I want marketo to read the tag: analytics and give +5 points on interest score: analytics.   Our webdevelopers don’t want to add these tags in the url as part of the slug - reason: keep them clean and user-friendly.   What are the best practices to achieve this? How do we push the tags to marketo when someone is visiting the page? (must be usable in trigger). Any tips much appreciated. 

Hi Although you can have an Event Programs with child event programs, I'm looking to clone some existing event programs to be child programs, but it doesn't seem to be possible - you can only clone to an Engagement Program or a Campaign folder (not another event Program)   Can anybody confirm if there is a way to do this that I'm missing?   Thanks  

Hi everyone, we like to request some sensible data in our forms and integrate them within our emails. The issue is that data stored in Marketo are readable for everyone. And eventhough I'd create a separate Workspace and store the data in a custom program member field this data would appear within the activity log. So one idea is to encode this data e. g. with base64. But to use the data in an email I'd need to decode the data via email token. Unfortunatley I found just a possibility to encode those. https://nation.marketo.com/t5/product-blogs/base64-ing-a-string-in-velocity-without-using-reflection/ba-p/242251Do you know any possibility to decode data without the need to store them afterward? For some of you, this is nothing new but for those who didn't already know, allow me to show you how to quickly and easily bulk approve landing pages.So, let's say you've made some changes to one of your more popular LP templates and now you have hundreds of landing pages in Draft mode. If you don't know how to bulk approve, this is a serious pain in the tuchas.  Right? Wrong. So mosey on over to the Design Studio and go ahead and click on Landing Pages.  From there, you'll want to sort by Approved - Sort Descending.All those yellow caution triangles mean you have unapproved pages. Click on the top item, then hold shift and click on the last one on the page.Now, click on Landing Page Actions and select Approve DraftLet Marketo do it's thing for a moment or twoAnd BOOM.  They're all approved.  Now, repeat until all of your
