Adobe Marketo Engage

Hi everyone, I am using a custom namespace in my (guided) landing page template. Is it somehow possible to leverage some of it in the landing page editor as well? It seems like it's not even possible to do a      var td = {};     Is the editor filtering this out? My goal would be to auto-fill a string template variable with the landing page URL and adding some UTM tags, which will then be used as the OG URL when sharing the page, so it's rendered with the page already. We're having an issue where dynamic chat isn't appearing when users navigate between pages on our react-built website. The chat does load when a user refreshes the page.    I've tried triggering this event on a history change, which fires on all pages, but it still doesn't appear window.dispatchEvent(new Event('visibilitychange'))   What other options are available to force the chat to trigger?

I would like to send emails from both the primary domain and a subdomain on the same website.   www.example.com    www.em.example.com    Is this possible? If I set up DNS records for "go2.em.example.com" will they null my existing set up for "go2.example.com"

As a part of my quarterly firm initiative for my organization - I went ahead and built a custom ETL tool for marketo that can export, list and visualize all the different assets in a manner that is more customizable and makes more sense to business. The complete tool uses several of the marketo's REST API endpoints to export the data which is then transformed and then the same data is used in the tables and plot graphs. The complete tool including front-end, back end and Marketo REST APIs has been developed by me. Having an issue when creating a snippet, the code editor is changing the code I put in. I know cases can be synced as custom objects and you can use data from this custom object in smart campaigns and smart lists but does Marketo show activities against Cases in CRM? Eg seeing an "Email" sent (the content of the email) against the Activity object on the Case?

I have a client who wants to add the ability to upload a file as part of a Marketo form submit. I've seen that Uploadcare.com offers a 3rd party solution for this but it's designed for use with a form on a Marketo Landing Page. My client doesn't use Marketo Landing pages and is looking for a way to enable file uploads with Marketo forms embedded on their website. Any recommendations or suggestions?

When using Salesforce Campaign Sync, is it possible to have program members not be added to SFDC campaigns until they reach a certain member status? For example:Imagine an email program with program/campaign member statuses that are something like "Sent", "Opened", "Unsubscribed", "Clicked", "Filled out form".The email is being sent to 50k people, and as soon as it's sent they will be added to the program and have their member status changed to "Sent". If I don't want all 50k of them in the SFDC campaign, is it possible to still use the Campaign Sync, but only add members to the SFDC campaign who have a status other than "Sent"?   I realize that another option would be to turn off the Campaign Sync for the campaign and have people added to the campaign using a smart campaign and a "Add to SFDC Campaign" flow step, but I like the ease and overall cleanliness of the campaign sync.   Thanks in advance!

I am not sure, if I am posting in the right forum but the question is around connecting Marketo Sandbox to a new Salesfoce sandbox. So appears to be the correct, but please let me know if its not the correct place to ask this question.   What are the issues with connecting the same Marketo Sandbox instance with a new salesforce Test Sandbox? Is it complicated for some reason?

Some MSI users cannot use the Send Marketo Email button in Dynamics. When they click it, nothing happens and we already checked pop up window blockers.  Meanwhile it works perfectly for me and a few other users.  Anyone have a solution for this?

Hi,I'm trying to send an alert email to a sales person if someone clicks two or more email links in an engagement program.  Would like to have them click a link in two different emails but not sure that's possible. I have a progression set up as follows with all eight emails in the "email is" section.  Will this work as I'm intending it to work?  Any other ideas?Thanks

Hi dear supportive community,  I wanted to get your confirmation on sending emails in a marketo email program from a personal email (rep email) , when the rep has just started with our company and his email was just created. Do you think this can in any way impact the deliverability?   The goal is to send MES program to an audience of 5000 people from name.lastname@example.com  (DKIM and SPF are set up for our domain). My only concern is that the email we want to use in this program belongs to a rep who has just started and hasn't had any activity yet. Do you think this can have an impact on the deliverability of the emails?   Thank you!

We have lead scoring setup for our sales team, and currently alerts are only sent out once a lead crosses the set thresholds for their lead score. (Ex. b/t 1-5, 6-9, etc.)The sales team has asked if it possible to see what specific event triggered this lead score change and alert. Right now we have "Source Type" and "Source Info" in the alert email, but those only pull in their original source, not the source for the lead score change. So for example, we have an IM set for "Clicks a link in email". If this event pushes them over the threshold to alert sales, they want to be able to see in that alert what it was that happened to boost their score. And if it was a marketing email event, what email it was that they engaged with. For email events specifically, I know how to include this in an alert, but as I'm understanding it right now, that would involve adding an extra alert that would get sent every time a lead engages with an email. I've looked into using

I have a couple of PDF assets that I need to replace but I can't seem to find them in design studio or elsewhere in Marketo. Is there anyway to search by their URL to find where they are being used and how I can go about replacing them?   Thank you!

Hi everyone,   I'm trying to set up a rather complex event campaign (or maybe I'm over-complicating it)   The event is held in 3 locations, A, B & C. A landing page with a Marketo form that lets them pick A, B or C. Their reply populates a marketo field which puts them in the corresponding Segment - at the same time, a confirmation email with dynamic content (based on their segmentation) is sent out - saying 'Thank you, we'll see you at location A (or B or C).   Here's where the problem starts, it appears Marketo doesn't get data from the Segmentations fast enough - the thank you reply email is always the previous selection every time I fill in the form. Eg, I fill in the form with location A, I get the default segmentation. Then I fill in with location B, I get the thank you email for location A. Then I fill in with location C, I get the thank you email for location B. My solution to this problem was adding a 2minute 'wait' step to my flow before the email send

Hi all, I have created two custom fields named, Custom Info Field_Str  Custom Info Field_Text The idea is to add these two fields into a Marketo form for specific events where we need to ask a specific question i.e. Dietary Requirement, Additional Comments, Travel Arrangements etc. Rather than creating a new field everytime or a new form everytime, I want to use these two fields in a form. But is there a way I can modify the field label at the form load, so that the using the same form and same fields, I can ask different questions at different event pages?

I'm importing event lists into programs that sync to corresponding SFDC campaigns at the program level. However, I'm running into the below sync error with nearly every list that I import that's roughly over 100 records. I'm learning that existing records from the list will sync just fine to the campaign, but any net new records will fail. I then have to disconnect the program from the campaign, run Sync to SFDC actions on the ones that failed, and add them as members of the campaign through a flow step.   This is of course not an ideal long-term solution, but I'm being told by our SFDC admins that they can't change the batch size limitations. I've done many list imports over the years for various instances, but I can't recall this happening to the degree (and with the list size) that I'm seeing now. Hi there. Does Marketo have a way to tag individual records with selectable information, such as when they click on a link to an email? For example, if the subject of the email is "intellectual property", is there a way to append "intellectual property" to a record taking action on the email so that I can select by that criterion in future smart lists and reports? Hey all,In the past, I have used email performance reports to report on monthly emails. However recently I have noticed that the numbers are no longer matching.For example, the email reports says we only sent for example 10k emails, while the program shows 30k. The email performance report does include AB test in the name of the email.   I should also note that we only subject-tested 10% before a winner was declared, so the numbers don't even match for an AB test. The email was sent on Feb 14th.
