UPD: the "Correct answer" I chose doesn't solve my problem, in fact nothing does -- but it's the best breakdown of how not to end up in my situation. Don't make my mistakes, don't hardcode things in mktModules that will likely change.  -- Hi all! It's a known thing that changes released in an Email Template don't apply to emails previously created using this template. An approval is not enough (AFAIK unless it's a CSS change), you need to manually insert the updated module in each email again.   Does anyone know a workaround for that?  We recently changed the headquarters address and it was always a hardcoded line in our emails. Is there an alternative to manually editing each of the emails that are in rotation? I've spent the afternoon pouring through some discussion posts here trying to solve this myself, but I think I'm hitting the point where I'll benefit from just asking.   I'm trying to use dynamically insert data (the Service Start Date) from the Opportunity Object into the body of an email, however multiple Opps exist on these records so I'm trying to isolate a specific one -- by either the Opp Type (preferred) or Stage (backup if Type won't work). From what I've read, I believe I need to us a foreach to sort through the Opportunities, but my filter must be incorrect because it's disregarding the stage/type and still selecting the most recent Opp.    Here's what I have:    #set( $SSDate = "Unavailable" ) #foreach( $Opportunity in $OpportunityList ) #if( $Opportunity.Stage.equals("Closed Won") ) #set( $SSDate = $OpportunityList.Service_Start_Date__c ) #break #end #end ${SSDate}   I'm a little new to VTL so I hope I've interpreted other posts correctly. Hi folks,   I'd like to send an email to 50% of the audience on Feb 23, and the rest 50% on Feb 24 to test out which date works better.  So, there will be a "winner", but nobody will received it as it's a date rather than an email.   Will the following settings do that for me? Or, will it send the email out to 25% on Feb 23 and 25% on 24, and leave the rest 50% of audience receiving nothing but waiting for my mannual "winner"?   Thanks!

I am trying to do an A/B Test (on subject line) but the list is larger than our send limit. I upped the limit for member and ran that.  I adjusted the test % to ensure that the winning send # was under our send limit, but the send failed. Is there a way to increase the send limit in an A/B Test please?

Hello Everyone!   We are running into problems regarding our custom de-dupe rules in Marketo and related to Landing pages. Can anyone here help advise us?   Our dedupe rule is currently configured as email address + person partition + custom field, because we have multiple instances of contacts with the same email address.   The form submission on Landing Pages is not respecting the dedupe key and, as a result, the activity is not mapped to the contact record who received the email, navigated to the landing page and then submitted the form. Instead, filled out form activity is getting mapped to any contact in our instance with the same email address OR creating a new contact, and we assume it’s based off of the Marketo cookie tracking.   We have tried adding the custom dedupe field as a hidden field on the landing page as well as a URL parameter, and this hasn’t changed our situation. Hello everyone,   We're having trouble setting up Nurture emails to be sent at specific times.   We have three different emails that need to be sent at different times: email05-mar in March, email05-apr in April, and email05-may in May. These three emails belong to a single campaign called Email05.   We've set up the availability of each email in the Streams section, but we're having difficulty in the Flow of the Send Email campaign for Email05. Specifically, we can't use the "Add Choice" option to set up rules like "If the system date is between March 1st and March 31st, send email05-mar."   We considered creating three campaigns with a recurrence during a specific time range, but the frequency itself became an issue. Alternatively, we're wondering if it's possible to add three Send Email actions to the flow and let the stream availability control which email is sent out.   Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  

Hello Community,    I have a three-stream engagement program. Each email has its own default program - I am taking this approach for several reasons but the main reason is to have unique UTM values for each stream because the audience is being driven outside of Marketo.    My question is what happens in the following scenario? If a prospect doesn't qualify for a default email program will they advance right away to the next default email program in the stream or will it wait until the next cast?    Stream 1 Stream 2 Stream 3   If a member is in Stream 2/Touch 1 and they were in Stream 1/Touch 1, they wouldn't qualify and would move to Stream 2/Touch 2. How can I ensure there isn't a delay?   Also, can I use the same emails within different default programs/streams? In the screenshot, the same email asset would be used for Awareness Stream /Touch 1 and Consideration/Touch 2.

I specifically want to pull win/loss opportunities from SalesForce in order to email people in each group to get their feedback on their experience; whether it was a win or a loss, we want to know how we did.   I'm attempting to set up two smart lists: 1 that pulls WON opportunities when the status changes and 1 and pulls LOST opportunities when the status changes. We are looking to launch a saved cart campaign and I thought I'd post here as I see some posts that are similar to our issue but don't seem to have a definitive answer or solve.   Saved Cart Email Flow is as follows:1. Someone saves a cart and gets email 12. Gets email 2 After a wait period (wait will be 7 days once live)3. Gets email 3 after a wait period (wait will be 7 days once live)   * People can run through the flow each time they are added to cart. The email links all reference the trigger cart only. With velocity scripting, I've got this working correctly for all 3 emails, even in cases where there are multiple carts at the same time.   **If someone completes the cart, they are removed from the flow only for that cart. I'm still working through this and running into some issues below:   When the saved cart custom object status is updated to "Complete", the original value of "New" is populating in the email flow using the {{trigger.Status}} token. Hi Community,   I recently found that the tokens we use for tel links are not clickable in the Gmail iOS app.   The format we typically use is either tel:{{Lead.Brand Phone}} or {{Lead.Brand CallTo}}, which looks like this: tel:18885550000.   I have tried both unchecking the Include_mkt_tok box AND the Track Link box, but the links are still unclickable. 😥     I'm aware of another issue with the Gmail for Android app and tried the same workaround above for this, but it didn't work either. Any idea what the issue might be and if there are any other workarounds? Our company relies heavily upon phone calls to drive business (we have a full-service call center) and Gmail is a massive user base for our marketing audience.   This is a huge hindrance in our marketing capabilities.   Thanks, LK  

Hi All,   I have created an event which primarily targets on 5 Asia countries - India, China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan. Now,  the stakeholders wants 6 reports (India, China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and all OTHER countries) in Excel format. For that, I created a people performance report and grouped by Country and created custom columns -  for 5 Asia countries and for Rest of the World (Others). Please refer snapshot below:  Now,  they want to  send off to each country leadership on daily basis, while also sensitive as to not allow each country to see each others (hence separate reports). Is there a way we can accomplish this in an automated way using Marketo or it can be done via Excel advanced filters only ?  

Hey everyone! We are switching from a URL Parameter model of UTM tracking to a cookie-based model. We are switching because people navigate to different URLs and the UTMs fall off before they convert. This leads to underreporting channels like paid media and paid search.   However, if we switch to a cookie-based model, won't it inflate these exact same buckets that used to be underinflated? For example, a person visits the website via direct organic and does not convert. The person then interacts with a google search ad, and comes back to the website, this time the UTM values are cookied in and they convert. The system sees them as a person from google search. So basically our lead source program is set up to be first conversion touch.However if someone clicks a google ad, and then leaves the website, and comes back in via direct organic, will the cookies still be there, thus inflating the paid bucket should they convert?

I'm running into a major issue with the way Marketo is handling lead conversion in SFDC.    The lead syncs over fine, but when the lead is converted, rather than changing the type from lead to contact, Marketing is creating a duplicate record.  This leaves us with a person linked to an old lead and a person linked to the new contact.  It's obviously causing a huge issue with our data integrity.   From my understanding, this isn't how Marketo should work with the SFDC sync.  Has anyone experienced this and know of a solution?  Thanks!

  There is a mention of a 10 job limit (2 concurrently running, 8 enqueued) mentioned when their is discussion about the Extract API REST endpoint, and the Import API endpoint. What isn't clear though is if these are shared or separate?  Does anyone know the answer? For example:  If I enqueue 4 export jobs, does that mean I can only enqueue 6 import jobs? Or do each endpoint get a 10 job limit?

I raised a ticket with support on this but so far have not had luck, so hoping the community may able to help me identify the issue.   In my sandbox environment, I am testing some interesting moments. I can see that the Interesting moment fields are getting updated with the milestones I sent over in SFDC, but the  visual component is showing there are no interesting moments to display.    Has anyone come across this issue?
