Hi all - Does anyone know how Marketo's Do Not Track function fits into the opt-out signal requirement for CCPA compliance? Does Marketo "listen" for the opt-out signal?  What Smart List filters should be used to track Do Not Track activity on a person's record? Thanks. Annmarie Hummer

In order to upload javascript file to design studio (for use on landing pages), we have to switch from New Experience UI to classic experience UI. We recently saw that classic will no longer be available after March 2023. Will New Experience allow for this upload soon? 

Hello everyone! We're migrating from Hubspot to Marketo on the company and using Global Forms. When I have to add only one on the page, everything is fine, but there's a specific page with a tabbed interface with four forms, and I have no idea how to add the same global form multiple times there. I know there's a solution to add the same form multiple times, but since I need to use a redirect and change the CTA text script, I am still trying to figure out what to do. Marketo's documentation on this isn't very clear for me so I'm hoping someone can help.   We have one Marketo form that is embedded on multiple pages on our website.  The internal stakeholders would like form fills to include the url of the page the person filled out the form on, so they can tell which pages are getting more form fills. The pages do not have querystrings in their url's so I'm not sure parameters will work for this.   Is there a way to get the url into a hidden form field?   Otherwise I guess my other option would be to create smartlists and use the referrer constraint to split out each page the form is on.

Hi - I wonder if anyone can help here. We have recently migrated from Pardot to Marketo but I've been having issues with my email links displaying an error message and I can't figure out why. I've asked support and they haven't been able to help me so far and I've tried a number of things but it's still displaying this error: Your connection is not private Attackers might be trying to steal your information from info.burfordcapital.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID   Has anyone else seen this? Is there something obvious I'm not looking at? It seems like an issue with the SSL but Marketo has assured me SSL is fine. What else can I do? I never had this error with Pardot.

I'm currently in step 2 of activating SSL for all our landing pages. I started hard-coding https infront of our URL references and I've got a few questions regarding the process.Our landing pages use CSS and JS files that are uploaded in our Design Studio, but they are also referred via http instead of https. Examples of URL structure: cname.mypage.com/rs/3XX-LGL-4XX/images/app.jscname.mypage.com/rs/3XX-LGL-4XX/images/custom.css Do I have to edit the path somehow or will it be updated automatically, like images uploaded to the Design Studio?

I am working on building out our first lifecycle / RCM model at the company I work for and was wondering how to handle trials within the model. We are planning on treating trials as leads with a specific lead stage within SFDC. Not all leads will be trials - some trials will obviously convert to opportunity or convert to recycled or disqual (still working on the logistics of how we are treating trials in SFDC).    My question revolves around how to treat these trials in Marketo with our Lifecycle buildout. Does anyone have any experience and could provide advice on how to treat trials within a Lifecycle model? If so, how did your model buildout work? Should they be a stage on the success path? Should they be a detour? Depending on what option you picked - why did you choose that? Were there advantages for reporting? Hi all. First post!I am in the process of building out a preference centre to allow users to select which emails they want to receive. This utilises a Marketo form which pre-fills when the page is accessed from an email.My question is around linking back to this page after the user has submitted their preferences. For example, the user successfully updates their preferences and is directed to a confirmation page notifying them that their preferences have been updated. I'd like to have a link on this page that allows the user to return to the preference centre, but as I understand it pre-fill will only work when the link is accessed directly from an email.   It doesn't make much sense to include this link if the user is going to be directed back to an empty version of the form, so I was wondering if there is any way around this so that when someone clicks 'Return to preference centre' they are returned to a prefilled version of the page?Thanks for your help and apologies if there'

Hello all,  I'm attempting to set up a referral form and having a tough time doing so.    I first tried using the information from this forum post: https://nation.marketo.com/t5/product-discussions/referral-form-with-multiple-referrals/m-p/122260#M80517   No luck. I'm afraid I don't know JS well enough to implement the above.    So, I'm hoping to create two forms on one page, using CSS to hide the submit button on the first (the referrer) and have the submit button on the second (the referee) input both leads, separately into the system. Then, I'll figure out the attribution on the backend. Has anyone tried this with any success?    A HUGE thank you to anyone that is able to assist. 

I've come across several threads on using subdomains for sending marketing emails, but they're several years old... So I thought I'd check in to see what's best practice these days.Our IT team flagged that we have too many authorized servers in our MX record. Several are for normal corporate email, others for 3rd-party emailing systems such as Marketo. They continue to get requests from time to time from departments to add even more 3rd-party servers. They suggested subdomains (i.e. @x.company.com) be set up for the 3rd-party systems to prevent negatively impacting the "real" corporate email.Is your company sending marketing emails from a different subdomain or not? What are the considerations/pros/cons? Does volume matter? Would we have to warm up the new subdomain like we did when we first started using Marketo?

I have a seed list of roughly 1000 email addresses that our email deliverability analytics service uses to measure our marketo email deliverability/spam/etc. I want to set up an automated system that when we push out a content blast, all members of this seed list get that email as well.    The most basic, non-automated option is to manually add the seed list into the smart list for an email send (or create a secondary smart campaign just for emailing the seed list), however I want to limit the manual steps required here and prevent additional chances for human error.   The solution I came up with so far uses a smart campaign with the trigger "email is delivered" and as a constraint, I am using an "email contains" filter. The smart campaign contains a flow step "send alert" with a comma-delimited list of email addresses from the seed list listed to receive the alert. Hello,   We want to know if we are able to stop using UTM's and integrate Google Analytics into our forms instead. Currently we are adding UTM's to the form to track where the leads are coming from.   I have added a screen shot with how our current forms are set up with UTM's.     Thanks, Oscar

Before I go into my issue the following things are true:  - campaigns i created are marked as active - my sync is currently running (in the admin section it said it last ran a minute ago at the time of this post) I've been noticing that campaigns syncing over to Marketo are taking much longer than usual. It used to be at most a 15-30 minute delay. But now I'm seeing hours it takes for it to sync over. Also, some other colleagues are not seeing their SFDC campaigns sync after a day or two even.   This has been more recent, but was curious if anyone had any ideas on what I can do on my end? I would like to have some more insight into this issue before raising it to my sales ops team but I'm currently stuck on where I can find what might be causing the lag? I do have a ticket in with support but will most likely just get linked to the SFDC integration doc. Any ideas on where I should look would be a huge help, thank you in advance! 

Hi Community, I am in the process of uploading lists through Marketo and syncing to Salesforce. I noticed that after I run Smart Campaigns I get this error message that says "Multiple Leads Error" and gives me a spreadsheet of the leads not syncing to Salesforce. I have searched in both Marketo and Salesforce databases and there are no other matches for these leads except in the original CSV files I uploaded. I might have to create these lead profiles in Salesforce manually. What can I do about this?Thanks,Sabrina

Hi. We have a Marketo form here using a SendSafely file-upload field and it's working fine. But all the uploaded files are later accessed via a link. Is there a way we could have the uploaded files attached in the email alert Marketo send us? On this email alert (form submission) we see all the details coming from the form. such as the person's First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Your Message, etc,, and a link to access the uploaded files. We would prefer, instead of the link, to have the files all attached in this email alert. Does anyone know if that is possible? thanks

Hello everyone,   Our forms are being embedded on our page. Now we are wanting to change the style of the marketo dropdown field to follow out Brand design scheme. We have partially been successful, as we were able to change the field. The issue that we are facing right now is when the dropdown field is in an open state, the container around the <option> tags look different. Hello, Back again with another Velocity question I can't seem to find any existing documentation for. We have a custom object that basically houses all individual data about a user in our system (let's call it customerInfo) and we have a fair number of cases where we have multiple customers with entries under a single email. So one email might have multiple instances in the single object.We have product emails that go out when someone opens a new product and so to do personalization, we'd like to be able to include the name of the person who opened the product. On the Smart List side, I'd use the "customerInfo Object was Updated" trigger with the Constraint of "Product Opening Date In Past 48 Hours", but is there a similar way within Velocity scripts so I could do the above and output the Customer Name who actually opened the product?

Hey all! We recently changed our domains and everything looks correctly configured in Marketo and with CNAME but we are now getting an error when submitting forms. Sometimes they submit, and sometimes we get the "Submission Failed, Please Try Again Later" message. It looks like a CORS issue with XML. Here is our error log:   "Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'discover.sago.com/index.php/leadCapture/save2' from origin 'https://discover.schlesingergroup.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource."   Has anyone solved this previously?

I recently implemented the Marketo SSO login through Azure. I am able to login seamlessly into Marketo but facing an issue with Marketo time which is set at 30 min. I am getting the below popup window but when I click on "visit login page" it is redirecting to login.marketo.com instead of directly logging into Marketo as SSO is already implemented. I have updated the login and log out URLs in Admin > Single Sign on section as provided by the Azure team. Can you please let me if I am missing something on the setup for a seamless login into Marketo after time out.   Thanks, Karthik
