hi all, i'm probably way in over my head here, and its a really silly one.   but basically i'm trying to do the following: Enquiry is updated & timescale is set to within 6 months or as soon as possible (& has reservation=false) = send email OR (because i've used advanced filters (1 and 2 and 3, but trigger is always an or statement): Has reservation=false & customer is loyalty member & they’ve not visited the page on co.uk = send  email.   i am unable to add the bracketed (has reservation false) onto the trigger.i know its probably really stupid or i've set it up completely wrong:    thanks in advance!   Mike 🙂

Hey Community!I'm struggling to identify WHY my data enrichment/normalization campaign is not processing qualified people. Here is the setup:- Smart list: Function is empty or "other/unknown" AND Job Title is not empty.- Flow: I have put 20+ CDV flow steps shown in the attached screenshot.- Schedule: "Set to affect 60K people" - each person can run through the Flow every time, and there is no campaign limit. The first time I ran this, it processed 30% of the people, and now when I run it, it skips all the people - please see 2nd screenshot showing the campaign Results tab attached.And btw, earlier today I received from Marketo a notification saying that there was an "unexpected hiccup" for this campaign and that some flow steps may not have succeeded... - see screen attached. This is quite weird.Any advice please?        

Our sales team uses Calendly to schedule product demos and meetings and I've just set up the integration from Calendly to Marketo so we can use a Marketo form and landing page to capture lead details and then sync the Calendly event with Marketo.   In testing this I can see it's recording the details against the person activity log but what I can't figure out is how to trigger a smart campaign based on them booking a meeting as the Calendly activity fields aren't selectable as triggers.   I know I could do this based on them submitting their details in the Marketo form but I don't want to prematurely trigger this if they don't then complete the meeting request via Calendly.   Is anyone using this and know the best way to go about this?

Has anybody made the decision to wipe contacts from Marketo and start over (effectively reimplementing the platform)?  We are in the process of launching a significant cleanup/overhaul of contact data in both Salesforce and Marketo.  We currently have the connector turned off, and are concerned about the risk of creating a mass of duplicates when we reconfigure and turn back on.  Wondering if it would be cleaner/easier to pull everything out of Marketo and start over... but not sure we understand the full implications of doing so.  Has anyone gone through this?  Would value any insight you can share or resources you can point me to.

Hi,   Sorry all this isn't 100% Marketo related but I'm reaching out to the Marketo community for some help cause it always pulls through. We use Marketo on the b2b side and Iterable on our b2c side. Iterable mimifies our emails and are executed through mailgun. Our emails for a particular population have not been performing well and I question the deliverabilty. We mostly have emailed a client population and are whitelisted on their email server but the particular population that isn't performing well has personal email addresses where we can't be whitelisted.    We use Everest for deliverability and sent some tests and the Majority have performed terribly, scoring between 13% and 24% with 75% to 80% missing. We've had some that have scored in the 90s and found a common trend in character counts.   I ran a character count on some of the emails and found the ones that performed better were around 40,000 characters on one line and the others had > 60,000 characte

Hi - I am diving into Sales Insights Actions and curious to know if all leads entered in SFDC have to also be in Marketo for Sales to send Sales emails in SFDC.    One of the issues we face with standard MSI is that if Sales enters leads manually into SFDC, they aren't automatically synced to Marketo causing usability issues. 

Hello, Curious what I'm missing when it comes to boolean data types in Custom Objects. We're importing through the API into a Boolean data type with a 1 (TRUE) 0 (FALSE) approach. Also noticed it seems if the value is NULL, Marketo calls it "false". With this in mind, why does this not work: #foreach ($item in $customerCardList) #if ( ( ($item.AuthorizedUserOnAccount.equals("0")) ||($item.AuthorizedUserOnAccount.isEmpty()) ) && ($item.cardTypeDetails.equals("SIGNATURE"))) No Authorized User #else I can't script apparently. #end #end If I understand, if I am looking for a "false" Boolean value I see if it is a 0 OR an empty value. When I test the above against a Lead with a record that matches the above - it still gives me the "else" output.Is there some other way to account for a false Boolean value? Or is it better to play against a TRUE value, like "if X IS NOT 1, show this"?

We will soon be merging two SFDC instances for Brand 1 and Brand 2. Beside the standard SFDC fields we will have two different set of custom data fields for Brand 1 and Brand 2.There are also going to be different ways of working in Sales for Brand 1 and Brand 2 for now.I'm thinking we need to have a partition in Marketo for Brand 1 and Brand 2 until there is more alignment in SFDC.   My question is: If I have two partitions, can I map all the custom fields from Brand 1 ONLY in partition for Brand 1 and all the custom fields from Brand 2 ONLY for the Brand 2 partition?If I have to have all the fields for both brands set up on all the records, I feel this could get very messy, very quickly. Any top tips on how to handle this and keep things clean?

Hi all, I'm getting these errors for the Smart List's Flow step that is very common to be used in our instance. The program is for Drift Chat. Any suggestions how to fix this? I've tested the Drift Chat Playbook, but nothing is seen on a program level (after checking test email's activity log it shows the test that was made).

I want to create one email for all records in a list, the only thing that needs to change is logo and sending domain. Is there a way to all the branded domain to be dynamic based on the flagged brand the record would need to be associated with? So I would have: John Smith Brand:123 Branded Domain changed to: 123.comJill Smith Brand: ABC Branded Domain changed to: ABC.com Joe Smith Brand: 123 Branded Domain changed to: 123.comSally Smith Brand: XYZ Branded Domain changed to: XYZ.com Or do I have to create separate emails for each branded domain? 

Is there a report (or other method) that lists the URL's associated with all of the Marketo landing pages in your instance?  The Landing Page Performance Report gives you the landing page name, but not the URL(s) of the landing page.  Any ideas?

Today (August 28, 2023) I noticed borders on my buttons stopped rendering in Office365 on MacOS 12 and MacOS 13.  They were working fine everywhere else.  It appears be related to Microsoft's last update to Office365 Outlook for MacOS on August 22, 2023.    It's not a completely generalised issue however.  The use case is pretty specific.   This is a situation where I use a drop down to select colors.  Rather than visible color codes, I use my trick of putting a CSS comment in front of the attribute to give a human readable value to select (i.e as follows). When selected, the actual value is  /* VE Blue */ #17468F   The unrendered CSS looks like this:   border:2px solid ${ctaBorderColor};   which then renders to:   border:2px solid /* VE Blue */ #17468F;     This works on all other platforms, and has just stopped working in Office 365 on MacOS 12 and MacOS 13.  Fortunately, the fix was simple. 

I have a custom object named "application" that is associated with People/Leads. I'm aiming to incorporate the fields from the "application" into an email. This email should be triggered whenever there is a change in the status of any application field. To achieve this, I'm utilizing a velocity email script. To start, I've generated an email script token named "my.application."   My current approach within the email is as follows: Hello {{lead.First Name:default=Friend}}, We wanted to inform you that the status of your application {{{{my.application}}.applicationID}} has been updated to: {{{{my.application}}.status}}. Hey Community!Is there any direct or in-direct way to in a way shut off the form on the LP once it hits for example 20 completions? Ideal scenario would be for example a redirect to another LP without a form anymore. We have it in an Event program but there are no Wait or Pending Approval steps. So I'm wondering how this could be done. Maybe via a trigger campaign counting form fill actions? Any other ideas? It is about putting a LIMIT to the number of form-fills on a landing page. 

We are working on creating an Email Subscription Center to allow our users to select which emails they want to receive instead of the standard unsubscribe option, which currently unsubscribes our users from everything. I have found a lot of documentation on setting up the Email Subscription Center, however, I cannot find documentation on how to set up a workflow to tell Marketo which emails are which. For example, if someone selects that they only want to receive Newsletter emails, how do we tell Marketo which emails are Newsletters? Any suggestions/guidance are appreciated!    Thanks,  Mikaela

Currently we have a few processes that run in parallel:  Lead enrichment webhook that is triggered on Person is Created, which returns demographic and firmographic info, as well as a Predictive Score on the account's propensity to convert Behavior Scoring that is triggered based on activity, built using the Marketo-provided template so each different activity type has its own trigger campaign Various response management workflows (for different forms/offers) that change data values for attribution/reporting and then use "Add Person to SFDC Campaign" to sync them to CRM MQL logic sits on the CRM side and kicks off after a person has been added to a SFDC campaign and is considered a Response.    We recently amended MQL logic so that a lead will only go through the qualification process if both a predictive score and behavior score exist for the lead.
