Adobe Marketo Engage

I'm using the script for a multipart form from this post: https://nation.marketo.com/t5/product-discussions/can-we-build-two-step-form-in-marketo-by-using-custom-javascript/m-p/184216#M132431   I am using it to create a multi-part form that functions as a quiz with a contact panel at the end to be sent results. For the quiz part I have a single radio button group in each fieldset and make that radio button required through the javascript settings variable so users have to provide an answer before moving to the next question.   When I do that, I am getting a browser console error:  TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'parentNode') when the code tries to apply the required field setting to the radio buttons. That has led to either the required behavior not being applied, or the formatting of the first choice changing when the required message is displayed.   In the browser tools, I see the error message element being inserted within the structure of the

Hi All, I am looking for somewhere to host a secure form. The form I am looking to build will trigger an email, based on the input.   I.e. (basic explanation).   Reciever email address: Email line 1: Email line 2:  Email line 3: Email from address:   Once this form is complete, it will build the email based on the tokens and send the email to the inputted address.    Now, hosting this form on a Marketo landing page means that if someone in the 'outside world' were to get hold of the URL they would equally be able to trigger an email from myself. I understand you can Noindex and Nofollow the web page, but if for whatever reason they got hold of the URL, it's still a risk.   Is there an option with a Marketo flow to trigger some sort of authorisation once an email is built. I.e. the email 'sender' receives an email with the preview of it and the ability to click a button to release it.    Or is there a more secure way to lockdown a marketo lan

I'm working on an invalid email notification system for local Marketo users, so they would be notified if a record with an invalid email address is created and preferably they need to take action and fix it in Marketo otherwise the record gets deleted after 2 weeks (with many reminders). However, in the alert email I send them, I would like to keep the option for them to mark the record "OK for deletion" right away, so if they click on this link they are redirected to an LP created for this purpose.   On the LP, I prefilled the hidden email field from the URL (?Email=example), but here comes the part I couldn't get through:   So these email addresses are mostly broken (eg: asd@@examlpe;;com). This prepopulated value pops up an "invalid input" error message on the page (which it normally should), but in this case, I need these records to "go through"  the form submission process and get marked with "OK to be deleted". Hellou community! I have a problem when I create a smart list. Through an integration I have with Salesforce, I receive emails that are empty, so I want to create a flow that eliminates people who have empty emails. When I create a smart list or in the same smart campaign I put the "Email" with the attribute "It is empty" and I go to review the pages of people I see that if it brings people who do not actually have an email. But when I go to the next pages, I see that it brings me people who do have email. I don't know if it could be an error in the instance or in the list. But in the instance we have, the only field that this procedure for email is called "Email" which is the field that I bring to validate that the emails are not empty. I don't know how I can make a filter and make it exact, where it only brings me the people who really don't have an email so I can delete them from Marketo. I appreciate your help

Hello Community   I am trying to set up a preference center and we do have fields, 'unsubscribe all' and then unsubscribe 1, Unsubscribe 2 and 3 and so on.  I am trying to look for a solution where if a person click on 'unsubscribe all', all other fields are also ticked in the preference center form.  We are able to set up in the flow if someone click 'unsubscribe all', others are unsubscribed.      

My client wants to remove crm completely . They are using CAS crm . Can anyone help me to understand the drawback. Can we use marketo standalone. Do they need a CRM system to host B2B/B2C data or if they can’t just have this in Marketo. Any suggestions.     

I am working on a survey form in an email. I currently only have two visible fields, but want to populate the person's information using Marketo Tokens. I have the form setup with the fields like this: When checking the form filles I am getting "not provided" for this data. The person exists in Marketo. Any ideas why this is not working?

Hi,   We want to update our all marketo forms at once. We have come across this article​ about making this update in bulk via the API. For that we are using the Postman API platform. We connected Postman and our marketo instance, but the form is not getting updated. Please anybody who knows the process or step-by-step process please help us.

In a recent post you learned that specific characters must be URL-encoded before storing String/Text fields in Marketo. You don’t need to encode the whole value, and other characters should be left alone for readability.   Below I show to do that kind of selective URL-encoding in 4 languages: JavaScript, Java, PHP, and C#, and how to decode in Velocity for correct email output.   Decoding in Velocity I’ll cover decoding first because it’s so easy. Just do: #set( $decodedStuff = $link.decode($lead.encodedStuff) )   $link.decode doesn’t care if the entire input isn’t URL-encoded, as long as the URL-encoded parts are done right.   (This is how the URL decoding function works in all languages that I know of. From October 26th 2023, rtp.js extends its support to jQuery 3.x versions. A Marketo user needed something that’s not covered in my old input mask tweaks post nor the more tweaks follow-up (both recommended!).   To comply with internal requirements, one field may only have Latin-1 characters except digits 0 to 9 — blocking everything beyond the first 255 Unicode codepoints — while not requiring a specific length.   Both requirements are tricky and not built-in.   The first, allowing Latin-1 except for standard (Arabic) digits, requires a custom mask character. Built-in mask a only allows ASCII a to z and A to Z . (I’ve warned before about assuming it allows “letters,” which isn’t so!) Question - if I am promoting a webinar where the ICS file says 10 am PST, but the webinar crosses over to Daylight Savings, and is 10 am PDT, should I say in the ICS file that it is 9 am PST? when it is on someones' calendar it comes up at 10 am PDT on March 21? Thoughts?

Hi,I would like to change the order of fields in the form with progressive profiling. I know we can change the order in progressive profiling target filed and non-target field each. But, I couldn't find out the method to set the order likes "fixed fields / progressive profiling fields / fixed fields". It looks Marketo accepts only "fixed filed / progressive profiling fields".Is there any way to change the order?as typical case, I would like to show "agreed policy" check box fields above the "submit" button always. but, I couldn't put the agreed policy one as fixed field when I enabled progressive profiling.Regards,-Taishi
