Adobe Experience Platform

Hi, I am trying to use the Privacy API to make requests for access/deletion of user data in Adobe Analytics.I have a couple clarifications on the regulations available to the API. First question:The regulations here list these two, what would be the difference? https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/privacy/api/privacy-jobs.html?lang=en#list ctdpactdpa_usaSecond question: The List All Jobs endpoint lists these as available regulations:While the create an access/delete endpoint lists these: Additionally, when I try making a request with an incorrect regulation (hipaa, instead of hipaa_usa), I receive this error:"Regulation `hipaa` is not a recognized regulation type Supported values: [nzpa_nzl, vcdpa_usa, gdpr, ccpa, lgpd_bra, cpra_usa, apa_aus, hipaa_usa, pdpa_tha, cpa_usa, ctdpa_usa, ucpa_usa] I am confused on why the lists are different if they are for the same kinds of privacy jobs. Would like to have confirmation on what all t

Hi there, I am looking to create a segment based on a Map field, in particular, from the idSpecific map field of the Consent field group. I am not too sure what to put in the Identifier specific, Identifier Type field, couldn't find the documentation for it. Wondering if someone can provide some insight?  Using this example, if I want to target at ECID level, what would I put?"idSpecific": { "email": { "jdoe@example.com": { "marketing": { "email": { "val": "n" } } } }, "ECID": { "37784337855396895622558625508046772577": { "collect": { "val": "y" }, "adID": { "val": "n" }, "marketing": { "push": { "val": "n" } } } } }Thank you.

Is there something like proper format of ECID??I am not able to import event data to profile which were imported from SF CRM and I am trying to debug this... Thanks Mike

As per the requirement wanted to know the last product purchase by the user. We are capturing the product in the event base class which has a product name attribute.  But the evaluation failed is there any way to debug, also for evaluation need to wait for 24 hrs. DefinitionxEvent[_abc.rb_productName.isNotNull()].topN(timestamp, 1).map({"timestamp": timestamp, "value": _abc.rb_productName}).head()

Hello everyone,I am currently integrating Adobe Analytics into an iOS application. After executing 'MobileCore.configureWith(filePath:)' I want to safely remove the configuration file and set another internal state. Unfortunately, the function does not provide a completion block in which I could do this safely. I also tried to work with an event listener.'MobileCore.registerEventListener(type: EventType.configuration, source: EventSource.requestContent) {event in ..}' But that didn't work very well, because the listener reacted to all events with'type: EventType.configuration' and 'source: 'EventSource.requestContent'. For example also to 'MobileCore.setPrivacyStatus(..)' Also, I am not sure if it is safe to use the types 'EventType' and 'EventSource' at all, as they are not in the API Reference (https://developer.adobe.com/client-sdks/home/base/mobile-core/api-reference/#start). Does anyone have an idea? Thank you in advance.

Hello, We are looking at an option to export data from AEP to S3 bucket but in a bit unusual way.The high level process is:1. Using a query service data from a large Event dataset has been aggregated into a small table.2. Using again query service data from point 1 table has been extracted and send for detail reporting.3. Due to the query service expiring credentials this cannot be automated. And we are looking at the option of optimizing this. One of our options we look at is to create a lookup schema+dataset with a identity non customer profile. But lookup dataset is not allowed to be used inside AEP and destinationsWe tried with creating a event schema with only 1 profile and add many events on a single profile but then destination do not allow to export the data as array and would like to export the data as single line since there is only 1 profile on the dataset. We cannot use "Individual Profile" as we cannot create each profile per the aggregated data, since it can be 1

Hi,  I would like to import sama data through UI dataset. Data would part of XDM Individual Profile Class. However I have got some doubts about required fields:a) _id - I might generate some random string of length 20?b) createdByBatchID - if I use API I would be assigned with some batchID. However it is not the same with UI. Should I generate some random string?  Thanks Mike

I created the schema with 5 field groups and one field in only required. However in a specific batch ingestion I have only data for one field group and required field.May I upload only JSON with data for field group which I have the data for?Or should I include other empty field groups in my JSON with empty data while ingesting? Where is this specified in documentation? Unfortunately error troubleshooting does not work at all..... Thanks Mike

Documentation do not cover typecasting the data for primitive types (double to integer)https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/segmentation/pql/arithmetic-functions.html?lang=en Can we typecast the profile data in PQL API query approach? For example: Let's say profile has an attribute 'memberShipDuration': '500' , it is a string type. Now in profile query API, would like to convert it to integer so we can divide by 12 to find the number of years. profile.memberShipDuration/12 = 41

Is it possible to ingest null email value in AEP using out of box field(personalEmail.address).If not , how can we handle this.

Hi all,This was something I managed to do prior to Web SDK using callbacks, but for AA and attribution to function correctly we need to ensure proper order of events. For example not letting passive custom links fire before the first page view of the visit. Currently, we have Custom Link events that are firing as soon as the page loads which is causing attribution and pathing issues. My approach is then to use the 'On before event send callback' in the Web SDK extension to 'return false' if the event type is not a page view and the session page count is <1. However, where I'm stuck is in the best practice to then fire the custom link(s) after the page view has successfully tracked. One option was to create a queue, and then process that queue (if it exists) after the page view. Another is simply to add a timeout to the custom links when session page count <1, but this has risks of the user navigating away or a slow connection.  Has anyone approached t

Hi,  Is it possible to import historical events regarding:a) historical page views & ecommerce transactionsb) email events (open, click, send)  Thanks Mike

Hey all, I'm back with another question that I'm hoping you might be able to help me with.  I'm trying to figure out away to reference the javascript 'this' object while writing code within the Web SDK Extension's "On before link click send callback" custom code screen. If I add a console log for the 'this' object while in a click rule (based on a CSS selector), I get a valid responsecustom code used in my click rule:console.log("nav click rule: this.href");console.log( this.href ); Response I get in my console for this click rule:nav click rule: this.hrefhttps://www.blueacornici.com/Commerce/ So that works, when I'm working in the rule. But if I try the same thing when I'm working in the "On before link click send callback" custom code screen, I get an error message. The custom code i used:console.log( "checking for link this.href" );console.log(JSON.stringify( this.href, null, 4 )); my resultschecking for link this.hrefundefined So it appea

Using the Profile Count Trend graph, from the Profiles section, I detected an increase in new profiles added to the Adobe Experience Platform on a specific day. I tried to get the primary identity of those profiles that entered that specific day using the Query Service, querying the Profile Snapshot dataset using the _repo.createDate value as a filter, but the values are not close to what I detected in the graph. This may be because, according to the business model, a customer can buy without being registered in the store, i.e., a customer can perform a transaction without having customer attributes, such as createDate, registered in Experience Platform. Is there a way to get those new profiles created on that specific day? Thanks in advance

In the audiences QUALIFIED PROFILES is getting always zero .Can someone help me to resolve this issue.

Hello,I want to use the Audience composition for a recurring campaign, where my main segment will get refreshed at regular interval for instance, once daily. The composition will randomly split this main campaign segment. I intend to check if the Composition will split the entire campaign segment each time it gets refreshed or only new records will be split. Or will I need to handle this explicitly. Also, can I schedule the Audience Composer to be refreshed at a required timestamp? Thanks!

Hi,I have a source dataset(data coming from salesforce) which has a field of type integer but in my target dataset i have created and mapped the same field of type string and i also want it of type string which will result in datatype mismatch and batches will fail. How can I obtain the data in string format?

Hi all,  I have a bit of an urgent ask. I'd like to check if a field (x_date) of type DateTime exists in an AJO condition. How can I do this?  I do not want check if it's empty as we won't get a value for the field if it's empty and if it does have a value then it will be populated. Thanks

Hi I have WebSDK extension added to Launch and have setup XMD Schema, Dataset and Datastream setup. Datastream has mapping created for XDM object and analytics added as a service.  When trying to add a rule in Launch to trigger SendEvent, I am getting the below error:   [alloy] [DataCollector] An error occurred while executing the sendEvent command.Caused by: An identity was not set properly. Please verify that the org ID <my @9818 ID>@AdobeOrg configured in Alloy matches the org ID specified in the edge configuration.   I have checked that the org ID is correctly set. Any help on the error?   Thanks Parm

Hi,   I have an Event schema (Purchase) and need to know who purchase more than 100$ during the last 30 days. Can't really find <SUM> or count, any idea?     thanks

Hello, I need to create two field groups so that they are available for customers that might want to use the custom Event Forwarding extension or the source connector.  Instead of the customer having to create field groups under their org namespace, I want this to be available to everyone.  Let me know if there is a process to get this approved.

Hi All,Could someone help me on my below queries? Can AAM and AEP coexist, if we are setting up a solution from scratch? What all services AAM can offer in addition to what AEP already have? ThanksSankar

Hello @16227148We have a B2B use case, that uses 1-many relationship(I person having multiple account). Is there any way to export/activate the B2B attributes(multiple account names) from AEP?  Thanks in advanceSheejo Rapheal

Hi All, Could you please confirm if Adobe Campaign Managed Cloud services source connector is capable of ingesting data (delivery/tracking logs) real-time from V8 to AEP? If not, could you provide information about the anticipated delay in data ingestion? ThanksSankar

Hello,I've been working through the LUMA Web SDK implementation tutorial to familiarize myself with AEP Adobe RTCDP. Following the steps outlined, I've successfully created schemas, tags, data elements, rules, and datasets. However, when utilizing the AEP platform debugger, I encounter an issue where the 'interact?' call in the network consistently displays a 400 Bad Request status, and no data seems to be reflected in the dataset. Could someone provide guidance on how to troubleshoot and debug this problem effectively?"
