Adobe Experience Platform

Description - We would like to enhance the filtering in the AEP UI. Why is this feature important to you - Having the ability to further drill down into filters via the UI, unlocks more capability for the users of AEP. How would you like the feature to work - Filter by audience on dataflow runs pages, adjust column sizing and filter for what is currently processing- Filter and sort by audience, start date, or end date on activation data page, and adjust column sizing. Current Behaviour - No current ability to do any of the above filtering in detail.

Description - Currently there is no way to specify the order of execution of extensions that are included in launch.js and run at the top of the page. Why is this feature important to you - We use a data monitoring technology that is deployed through Adobe Launch and needs to be the very first extension that runs when the library loads so it can properly monitor the data being collected on pages. As of right now it can't monitor all technologies consistently because the order of extension code is randomized at every publish and there is no way to specify that extension A should load before extension B.How would you like the feature to work - I would like to be able to specify either the exact processing order or be able to set an optional priority score (similar to rules) for extensions that are bundled with the core launch.js file.Current Behavior - Adobe Launch does not currently have a way to specify in the interface the priority of how extension code executes when the library initia

Description - Row level filtering from batch source connections Why is this feature important to you - Ability to filter out rows of data based upon specific filtering criteria. How would you like the feature to work - Utilize the flow service api to specify a row level filter parameter for all batch source connections. Current Behaviour - The ability to filter row level items is only available using Snowflake, Dynamics, Saleforce, and GBQ.   https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/sources/api-tutorials/filter

Description - AEP sandbox Tooling to support moving incremental changesWhy is this feature important to you - To avoid manual changes to the sandbox components like schema between sandboxesHow would you like the feature to work - Support moving incremental changesCurrent Behaviour - When the object e.g. schema already exists in the target sandbox, there is no way to move the incremental changes in the schema.

Description - Ability to assign different sandbox/schema in the Adobe Launch/Tag XDM objectWhy is this feature important to you - We need to leverage different sandbox environment according to the Launch/Tag environmentHow would you like the feature to work - Able to assign a mapping of Launch environments to the AEP sandboxes/schema in the XDM object UI.Current Behaviour - You can only select a single sandbox/schema. So after picked development sandbox/schema in the XDM object UI, it won't be able to change automatcially to Prod sandbox when the Launch property is published to production. Please also refer to https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-platform/adobe-launch-tag-environments-and-aep-sandboxes/td-p/669279

DescriptionExisting batch (SFTP, S3 and others file processing) source connections allow data ingestion into AEP based on an individual file or at a folder level. In the Select Data step, currently there is no provision of providing a file name format specification that we want to process into AEP. When there are multiple differently named files in one folder in SFTP/S3 location and we want to ingest these files into different datasets, there need to be a way to select matching file name (for example file_1* to file_1 dataset and file_2* to file_2 dataset etc) from the same location in the UI. Why is this feature important to youAbility to select multiple files confirming a file name format will give us a flexibility to ingest multiple files from same location instead of creating separate locations for each file. How would you like the feature to workAlong with the current functionality, there should be a Text box to select the file name format allowing wild cards to select m

Description - We are trying to move away from the legacy S3 configuration to the newer option, where you can use an IAM role for Adobe to assume when delivering S3 files. This reduces the amount of maintenance from our end in supporting access keys/secret keys. However, it seems like when configuring export locations, those can only be seen by the creator. As a team with multiple users using the UI, it'd be nice for everyone to have access to the same info. Why is this feature important to you - It'd allow us to easily reconfigure our feeds via this methodHow would you like the feature to work - See everyone (or at least everyone within our group)'s export locations when configuring or changing feeds.Current Behaviour - This is only exposed at a user level

Description - Ability to clean up batches which have been ingested into the datalake. Why is this feature important to you -  This feature is important to clean up batches which have been ingested into the the AEP datalake which may no longer be relevant. How would you like the feature to work -  Ability to delete batches ingested into the datalake based upon dataset or based upon timestamp.  The job would delete batches from the datalake.  This would be to clean up record data which is no longer on profile and TTL datasets which have gone past their profile TTL. Current Behaviour - Current behavior does not exist in the Adobe Experience Platform framework

Description - In CJA, there's a function called Split to split a value from a field into a new derived field, and the output can be an array. Would like to have a function which is like a reverse-split i.e. to take a array field and join them back with a delimiter to become a string field. Why is this feature important to you - To support reporting of a combinations of items as a bundle of items. How would you like the feature to work - A new drived field function or enhance the current Concatenate function to take an array field as input with a delimiter.Current Behaviour - Currently there's no such feature. Details please refer to the below link, https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-platform/cja-multi-values-concatenated-in-a-field-lookup-challenge/m-p/676279#M4663

Description - a feature in AEP that allows the user to visualize all of the relationships between schemas/datasets/datastreams/tag properties/rules/data elements etc.. in one image. Imagine a DAG visual like in DBT where the bubbles explain what the component is with text and color coding, then there are lines between the bubbles that show how they are connected e.g., an individual schema would have the name of the schema in one bubble, then lines from it to the datasets (separate bubbles) that its being used in. Why is this feature important to you - It would speed up the validation process to be able to quickly view all the relationships involved from a schema to an actual rule in Tags. Instead of having to click around between two different tool sets you could see in one place all of the relationships and ensure you're pulling from the right dataset, datastream etc.. How would you like the feature to work - ideally there would be a global button in AEP next to the drop dow

Description - Provide visibility of the active user connection(s) to the AEP datalake. Why is this feature important to you - Feature is important for administration of the AEP sandbox to understand what the active connections to the datalake How would you like the feature to work - Provide an API or UI view of the active connections to the AEP datalake.  Also provide the ability to drop the user connection to the AEP datalake. Current Behaviour - Unable to manage the active connections of users who are connected to the AEP datalake.

Description - AEP Permissions need better granularity added since there is only View and Manage. Create, Edit, and Deletion rights should all be segregated to prevent accidental deletions by limiting the people, roles, and groups that are given Delete rightsWhy is this feature important to you - We have had to recreate things several times in our new environment as people get used to the platform, but in order to do their jobs they need Create and Edit rights. They do not need Delete rights. How would you like the feature to work - Like any standard system granular rights settings are intended to workCurrent Behaviour - We can give people view or we can give them manage thereby giving them too much access.

Hi All.  I hope things are going well.  I had an idea I was hoping you could consider. It seems that the OOTB functionality of the AEP data processing from a Web SDK implementation includes converting the user's IP address into the Designated Marketing Area Identifier (DMA ID).  This identifier is part of the Web SDK Experience Event Field Group and again is provided by Adobe automatically, meaning this is NOT something we set or configure within the Web SDK itself (if you exclude "turning the feature on" within the Data stream and Web SDK extension). The values within this field look like numbers - for the US based visitors505, 506, 507, etc The problem with this field is it's data type.  It's set up as an "integer" field, not a text string For example, ID = 505 is actually the Detroit MI area.  but there is no 'DMA Name' field in AEP, just the DMA ID.  So running a report in AEP Query Services or CJA and getting a 505 number is not he

Description - Data Sets in AEP (expecially Prod sandbox) are extremely important assets. There should be a rigid process on its deletion, just like Report Suite in AA.Why is this feature important to you - I think no one wants to have its Data Set in Prod sandbox to be deleted easily. How would you like the feature to work - The deletion should involve Adobe tech support, as the final gate keeper.Current Behaviour - With the proper permission, admin can just delete Data Sets easily. Thanks.John

Description - Currently, Adobe can't support sending data to KMS-encrypted buckets. This is actually a requirement from our governance team and we needed to receive an exception just to proceed in the manner we do.Why is this feature important to you - KMS is useful for all S3 buckets, and Adobe's SDK should be able to support sending data in that matter. How would you like the feature to work - Support KMS encryption, assuming the role Adobe uses has that access.Current Behaviour - Feeds will fail

Description - Ability to notify when an audience activation (dataflow) expires. Why is this feature important to you - Currently when a segment has been activated to a destination there is an end date placed upon the activation.  When the end date of the activation dataflow a notification is not present to the CDP system and or user who has setup the activation. How would you like the feature to work -  Before the dataflow is end date of the audience is set to expire, please send out a notification via alert and or email notifications.Current Behaviour - An audience can be activated to a batch destination, but an end date is specified.  There is not an ability to be notified when an dataflow activation is in range of its end date.

Currently AEP RTCDP do not have inbuilt destination for Reddit. Looking for something similar to https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/destinations/catalog/social/linkedin.html which is for Linkedin.

Description - Allow update of existing contact record with conditional criteria in Marketo via AEP segment rules. For example, we would like to apply the rule only for contacts in the US. Why is this feature important to you - It is important to the business because it allows direct synchronization of data between AEP and Marketo. How would you like the feature to work - I like it to work seamlessly and quickly without adding extra load to Marketo via API calls.  Current Behaviour - The system only allow inserts without complex conditions or criteria.

Description - the Analytics extension's action to set event variables is quite limited, assuming you know the events to set, requiring writing custom code. It would be amazing if an to-be-evaluated Analytics event can be added as a result of a Data Element evaluation. Example: I have a lookup table the generates a string "eventX,eventY" for me that has to be set on the extension. In order to do so, I must write custom code which is tedious and error prone, since I must append these to s.events, append them to s.linkTrackVars and s.linkTrackEvents. Assuming in most cases events are counters and have a value of 1, why not have a possibility to add one or more dynamic events through an input field in the setVariables action, additionally to the standard functionality? Why is this feature important to you - for many clients I have worked around this issue with custom code that is potentially error prone whereas the built-in event-add functionality is quite convenient if

Description There needs to be a way for incoming XDM events to be filtered/routed to specific enabled Datastream Service.   Current Behaviour Currently when we enable Analytics, Experience Platform, Event Forwarding for example, all incoming XDM events are pushed to all the enabled Services for the give Datastream ID. There needs to be a way to selectively choose which XDM events should be accepted by the enabled Services.    How would you like the feature to workCurrently, we can do this for Event Forwarding using Rules, so that we can selectively decide what XDM events needs to be forwarded to a 3rd party destination. We need a similar setup for the other Datastream services. Not every incoming XDM event is relevant to Analytics or Experience Platform. We don't want for example Analytics to be incrementing Occurrences for XDM events that are meant for Experience Platform or Event Forwarding.    One possible workaround is to operate multiple Datastreams with d

It looks like the Select All and Sort By options never appear on any Brand Portal pages.  Just needs to be the same as appears in Assets   This is simple functioanlity that would imprive the user experience.

I go to the Collections page and click into a collection I've previously created.  I get the assets displayed, but I'm then not able to open the left hand search panel to filter the collection   From the Files section - if I go to filters and select the saved search (collection) - it obviously does allow me filter them.  I want to be able to filter the display of a Collection.

Ability to download to csv the file list of all tags Useful to provide to users to know what's available for searching Work in same way as export of metadata. On selecting an item in tags - provide an option in the actions tab to 'csv download'. Download would operate on that folder and any sub folders.

In Brand portal there is no way to sort the items being displayed.   In Assets you can   This is such a simple feature, but sooooooo essential to optimising user experience. Can be very difficult to find things otherwise.

When moving an image inAssets, when you come to choose the destinations folder  the folders are listed in some random order. They should at very least be name order. Or provide user sorting facility. Such a basic thing to optimise the user experience
