Adobe Experience Platform

Hi All, I've encountered an issue with inserting data into a qsaccel table created as a source for custom dashboards.I've followed the documentation available here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/query/data-distiller/sql-insights/reporting-insights-data-model and a very helpful article by @annamalai: https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-platform-blogs/harnessing-data-distiller-s-query-pro-mode-for-chart-authoring/ba-p/673218 I am able to create the table and use it as a source for dashboards (creating it as a result of select query), however for the use-case that I'm working on I would like to be able to insert data directly into the qsaccel table. When trying to execute the INSERT statement in Query Service, I get the following error:  Error code: 42809Description: <MY_TABLE_NAME> is not a QsAccel Table Thank you in advance for any tipsKamil

Within Adobe Tags, when setting up the Web SDK extension, we have default options for consent. Three default models (in, out and pending) as well as a configurable object to configure with more in-depth level. My question is regarding the "pending" option, which is stated to queue the calls until user gives consent and then act based on consent given, either by sending calls with opt-in or discarding them with opt-out. The issue I'm facing that regardless of if I use the default "pending" option, or define a custom consent object that uses the pending values, calls triggered before opt-in and should be queued are never sent. Is this expected behavior or am I missing something?

Hi everyone, right now I'm migrating my old implementations with data element XDM object. I'm working on inserting the list var and I'm currently having some implementation and data collection problems.  First step I have a list var that contains 11 items. I set the data element containing the reference array inside the xdm object.  Second step I then loaded the xdm object data element into the rule action by selecting Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK - Send event. I have specific conditions for listvar tracking and I would need to insert a custom javascript code that finalizes the tracking.  Can anyone tell me if there is a way to insert a custom code inside the Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK - Send event or if we need to use some other type of action in addition?

Hi,I have successfully connected KAFKA and was able to ingest data and I was expecting a Real Time data to be updated in AEP. However, I have to wait around 30 minutes for data to displays in AEP. Currently I am using partner shared sandbox for this. I will have to do the same for my client but will use client's Development Sandbox. I was wondering how I could see the Data in AEP in Real Time? Also does anyone knows what  is the reason behind this?Best RegardsSching

I have tried to configure AEP Web SDK/CDP in the first-party context: 1. Adobe Launch to be self-hosted.2. Reverse proxy to forward the Web SDK network calls from the first-party domain to the original Adobe Edge domain default folder /ee (edge.adobedc.net/ee).3. Datastream configuration to pick the FPID cookie value. (can be accessed via Adobe Launch, verified as a cookie data element value). At the moment, I have configured the edge domain not to be the original edge.adobedc.net, but one of the websites. It starts to mess up the ECID value, giving it a new one with each payload. The FPID cookie value stays the same on the page (re)load, but it seems it is not utilised to generate the same ECID.  Also, originally used JavaScript to get the ECID value for the custom solution for the identityMap, but even when removing that part, having no ECID JS the problem stays.  And in the end, I can see the data in the dataset/CJA, but every page has a new ECID.

Hi ,I have an question:If ingest a data using Batch ingestion and just to avoid unwanted data and error before profiling ,i don't enabled the dataset for profile. so if i enabled the dataset for profile after few days of Data ingestion. How much time it takes to do profiling done of that data ?or is it perfect approach to do?

what is difference between Data Distiller and Query Service in AEP? In what ways are they similar or different?

I am getting below error while creating an extension. Please suggest what could be reason behind it and how to resolve it.No extension package was found on the server with the name eloqua-adobe-by-enautics-macu and development availability.

Hello Community,I am looking to send event data to Facebook and want to better understand the most efficient and reliable method to do so. Specifically, I am trying to decide between using Event Forwarding and the Facebook Destination. Which method is more convenient in terms of setup, data accuracy, and performance and why? I went through the documentation part of both the approaches but could not find any differenceApproach 1: Destination Solution:Facebook connection | Adobe Experience Platform Approach 2: Event Forwarding to Facebook Conversion API Any insights or best practices from your experience would be really appreciated!

Hi all, I have an interview on Adobe Experience Platform for the deployment in AEP project and I am a fresher. Can you please help me what I need to prepare? What kind of questions will be asked by the client?

Hello All,Currently the below cookies are getting collected even before the user provides his consent through the one trust cookie banner . This is working due to the configuration in the AEP web SDK extension which is In - collect events that occur before the user provides consent preferences. How can we modify this setting via the custom data element option so that these cookies will occur only after the user provides his consent on the one trust cookie banner.

I have the "Collect external link clicks" option enabled in my Web SDK extension. What I don't understand is how to access this data in CJA Workspace for reporting? Anyone know? Thanks!

Authors: @agregg @ben-maloney @danny-miller  Data Governance, honoring consent preferences, and data access control are three foundational pillars for building customer trust and are critical pieces to get right during your Adobe Experience Platform implementation and ongoing use of the platform. According to Adobe’s 2022 Trust Report, 79% of consumers stated that they were concerned about how companies are using their data. We are starting a blog series that will cover how different tools within AEP can support each of these pillars. Today, we’ll focus on Data Governance and AEP’s DULE (Data Usage Label Enforcement) framework.  First off, let’s talk about what we mean we say “data governance”. In this context we are referring to restricting the usage of data outside of platform due to organizational needs or contractual obligations. With so much first party data available in the tool and cross-channel activation opportunities that bring many dif

Hi there,As we all know we have now new ruleset for the Streaming Segment Evaluation, As per that I have few query, can some one help me to clarify:Query 1 What if I have 5 attributes in my Streaming segment, and out of them 2 attributes are batch attributes and other 3 are Streaming attributes, Now should I create 2 segment here?Segment A - for Batch segment consist of all 2 Batch AttributesSegment B - for Streaming segment consist of all 3 Streaming attributes And Another third segment Segment C - Which will use Segment of Segment feature consist of the Segment A and Segment B Query 2: What if I have one existing Streaming Segment having Batch segment in it and some Streaming events and attributes in it?Do we need to create again separate segment for Streaming segment and both infuse both of them in another segment with feature of Segment of Segment Feature? Just wanted confirmation if my understanding is correct here or not?

How can we create a schema in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) using an API?

Hi!I hope you are well Do you have an ad hoc generic process in python to convert JSON data to XDM Parquet file in order to ingest to AEP Dataset?I was testing a normal .parquet file but Adobe does not recognize some files. Example JSON:[{    "_ingdirectspain": {        "Savings": [            {                "ccc_product": "123456789",                "pro_type": "tipo_1"            },            {                "ccc_product": "1234567890",                "pro_type": "tipo_3"            }        ]    },    "identityMap": {        "UUID": [            {        &n

Hello, Since SKU and classifications is being considered by this specific business too time consuming to maintain based on the amount of products and attributes, there is a discussion in about moving away from using a SKU in Adobe Analytics (and would think later when CJA is implemented) since there are product attributes already in the in the XDM object field and more can be added to different dimensions (evars in AA). On the other hand I also thought about using only SKU and not having to send all the values in the XDM object (thinking of load speed and simplicity) and later use classifications and even add more attributes and make it retroactive, if not too much level of effort. Is SKU still needed? we'd lose retroactive value loading option I'd thing but other vars still can be classified if needed even if not from the typical SKU (or tracking id) style value. Any implications for AEP/CDP in going either route? I think the best option is to look for optimiz

Yes, we know the current page Scroll Depth Tracking is present default while we using plugins, but these values are captured on the next page only. But We are required to implement Scroll Depth Tracking for the current page, if the customer is reached a particular percentage then we need to fire the events and need to capture the element values in eVar. We have single-page applications & more dependency on other teams.

Hey guys,  I've created a custom action that calls an internal API but said API can't handle data sent as a stream, so I was wondering if its possible to aggregated a few clients and send the data as a bucket

Hi, I am creating two schemas individual profile and experience event schema and using loyalty_Id as identity in the both schema. Whether should I create single namespace for both the Ids or create two namespace to assign them separately?

Which option do you rather choose? If I click import then all 5GB dataset is downloaded? How it work in details? If I create custom field group then its always nested on 1st level:And then how to load these records as a flat table? I know about adding ?flatten but I see that sometimes it does not work ....

Hi, recently we deleted some profile-enabled datasets from AEP UI (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/catalog/datasets/user-guide#delete). Still the changes in license usage metrics is not reflecting. How soon can we expect it to see the data volume metrics reduce.

Hi, I have two dataviews: a main one with created dimensions and a secondary one connected to the main dataview. I would like to be able to activate as dimensions in the secondary dataview those that are already active in the main one via CJA API. Is this possible?

Hi all, in this interface in AEPabout datastream mapping: I'm trying to have a IF THEN ELSE condition. My goal is to have the value of data.pageUrl mapped to prop5 only if xdm.eventType = web.webPageDetails.pageViewsSo I created a calculated field with the condition iif(${xdm.eventType}.equals("web.webPageDetails.pageViews"),${data.pageUrl},nullify()) But the output is not working as expected: not only the field mapped (prop5) is null, multiple others attributes also inherit of this. They are empty. So I try by adapting the function:iif(${xdm.eventType}.equals("web.webPageDetails.pageViews"),${data.pageUrl},"")iif(${xdm.eventType}.equals("web.webPageDetails.pageViews"),${data.pageUrl},null)iif(${xdm.eventType} == "web.webPageDetails.pageViews",${data.pageUrl},nullify())  Do you have any idea of the reason of this? According to the doc, it should only impact the target field....Does one of you also need to play with a if-then-else condition?&n
