can you be more specific? When you are talking about the debugger, you are presumable using the Adobe Experience Platform Debugger, correct?

As best practice, make sure you always reload the underlying page when you open the debugger.

 

Also, there are plenty of other options out there which may be helpful e.g., Omnibug which has its own tab in the developer tools ans is my go to extension, also for debugging other non-Adobe tags.

 

Or try the Universal Adobe Debugger. which is rendering its output in the console.
