Hi there,I have a couple of questions:1) I have heard that Cloud Hosted (API Token) approach of connecting DTM with AEM is the recommended approach, and it is the most straightforward. Is that correct?2) I have a client I am doing an DTM AEM implementation for, and they are reluctant to share API token saying it could affect their other Web Properties. Is there really a risk involved here at all?Thanks!

We are marketing website & have lot of Web beacon (js, 1x1 pixels...) with different varities like page load, events , etc...   added into system using DTM & most of them are 3rd party.  As you guessed impacted site performance.  We are cleaning unwanted things, talking to 3rd party where performance impacted and categorize with adobe recommemnded way at [A] & also having stricter rule to execute on required pages rather than all the pages..  Assume after cleaning up we ended with 100 beacon to be served on each page.  Is there a way or a trick to club & reduce making 100 seperate calls for each different becons from end user browser?     Is possible to configure DTM some thing server side rather than having penalty to end user ?   Will using Tealium instead of DTM help in any way? Thanks in advance.[A]   https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/dtm/faq.html

Hi All,I have never had this issue before with normal forms however with trying to track form submits and even form completions from Salesforce Pardot forms Adobe analytics is always counting less form submits/completions then the Pardot platform. It is always very random sometimes 4% lower form submits then Pardot but can be as high as 50-60% at times. The higher the total the bigger the discrepancy between the 2 platforms however Pardot always has more submits (and they are valid because they also contain the information from the user who filled out the form). So Adobe is somehow missing out on form submissions which I assume it may be because Pardot fires really fast at the top of the page and Adobe is slow and probably misses out on a number of form submits.Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated on how to sync the totals.thank you,Scott

Is it possible to point DTM (under company ABC) to an Adobe Analytics report suite that is housed under a different company/account (company DEF)?  And, if so, how?

Hi,I'm hoping someone could help. I'm trying to get an on page JS variable into a DTM data element. Hello everyone,I have a question on the referrer data.I'm getting many occurences that are urls from our website inside this dimension, even though I thought that only external referrers should be stored. Is this alright ? or should we 'filter" this using the DTM? Or maybe I could use a hit segment directly on Adobe Analytics ?Thanks alot for the help,Cheers,Mario

I've read the blogs and watched the videos on the DTM. The thing that I don't understand is in the creation of a JS Object data element. It wants a path and name but the name is supposed to be a friendly name? I don't understand how this works? If I have an object objectName and want to access a property objectName.objectProperty what would I put in DTM for the creation of the data element for this JS Object? Do I use the custom script instead? Can someone give me examples of how the JS Object/Data Element creation section is used in the context of the DTM?

I am trying to get DTM to work well in our Continuous Deliver system.For security reasons we are required to use the self hosting option and we use AEM.For DTM to work across ALL environements I have been having to manually manipulate the embed code as well the Satelitte code because there are many domains (local, qa, staging, production)Is it at all possible to have the code added relatively and not have to use the Domain when downloading the DTM assets.

Basically, I'm trying to find a way to efficiently fire tags using Adobe DTM in Angular without having to change the page or write custom script for every rule that shouldn't apply to all pages. It seems that adding _satelitte.track() to a page to get a new tag to fire would severly limit the benefit of using DTM being that you'd have to either add new _satellite.track() calls to a page or add custom code for new rules. Ideally, I'd like a solution that would allow non-developers to interact with DTM on a regular basis without additional help.I believe that _satellite.pageBottom() is what tells the satellite object that a page load has occured. I'm attempting to call _satellite.pageBottom() to mimic a page load any time the route changes. As an aside, as more sites go to angular/one-page-apps it seems like it would make sense have an additional function call that would tell the satellite object that a page load has occured..config(function($routeProvider, $httpProvider){$routeProvider.

I have setup the account in the Admin Console and has added myself as Admin and Product Owner for DTM and Adobe Analytics both.There are 2 problems I am seeing:1)   When I go to the “Activation” link in the context menu at the top right corner and click on “Launch” link on the page (pl. see screenshot below)  as suggested in the activation email I received once the request got completed, I just see this popup with no directions what to do next:2) When I try to go directly to https://dtm.adobe.com I sign in using Adobe ID Enterprise account it takes me to a feed page(https://adobedpsdemo.marketing.adobe.com/content/mac/adobedpsdemo/home/users/C9C3/nauOOn96icQrIk6nWPGA/feed.html ) rather than the DTM home page where I can setup account, Web Properties, setup rules, etc.Any help would be highly appreciated. I've run into an issue on iOS devices trying to track a direct call rule on the native 'pagehide' event. The issue being that Safari will only fire a network call if the request is synchronous (Javascript - AJAX call within a unload/pagehide event - Stack Overflow ). By default _satellite.track() is an asychronous call, but I'm wondering if anyone is aware of how to make this synchronous to resolve my issue?

The Marketing cloud ID changes when you pass the  registration, resetting the session and capturing the previous page as the referrer vs the page entered on. We have two domains before registration and after registrations. Not sure whats the issue is. Its not happening all the time.Any help would be appreciated.

When creating Raw Analytics Data Audiences, it seems to take forever for my Audiences to come out of the "Collecting Data" state.Attached is an example of a Raw Analytics Data Audience that I last updated on the 17th of May (2017) and we are now the 25 of May (2017). A week seems excessive to Collect Data?What is the acceptable time to wait for the data to populate? TIA. Runa.

Hi, Is there an option to set a Users permissions in DTM to, "Read Only"? It looks like the lowest level of permissions is a "User" and a user is able to edit any rule and data element. It seems there is not a read only level. Is this correct?Thank you, Wondering

I've created a few audiences using the Audience Library interface for real-time segmentation but they are showing as "collecting data". What does that mean and when will I start to see numbers?

Hi,I am looking for a complete digital solution to provide real time personalization to end users. Following are the two things I want to achieve:1. Creating an audience based on data gathered in analytics. I understand we can create an audience or segment in Analytics Segmentation option, but going with this option takes 24-48 hours which will slow down the real time personalization.2. Creating an audience based on the user's behaviorial pattern on the internetIs there any way if we can combine the above two points and can use any of Adobe Target, Marketing cloud Audience, Audience Manager and Adobe Analytics to provide real time personalized contents to the end users based on their behaviour across the multiple sites on the internet?Any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated!

In the Mobile Services SDK (iOS) - is there a way to completely clear out an ID originally used in visitorSyncIdentifiers?Even after I use the audienceReset method, I still see the ID present in any subsequent calls to Audience Manager (via audienceSignalWithData) in the d_cid_ic parameter.Even passing through a new value for the same ID type just appends another d_cid_ic key/value pair in the Audience Manager requests.
