Hello,We are currently using one DTM Property for multiple websites. This has worked fine to date. However, we now have a new website that will be managed by a different group of stakeholders. This group of stakeholders should have admin rights for changing tags on their website. But should not be able to do so for the other websites. The obvious solution is to create an additional property for the new website. However, I wanted to check whether there is any use case for keeping to one property for all websites and creating an additional container for the new website. What would be the pros and cons for such an approach? Would it be even possible to have admin rights at the container level?Thank you,Michael
I added the GUA tool as one of the installed tools. But I didn't do anything on the rule level yet. I thought we only have a empty container for GUA. All the rules won't send data to GA account. But actually we saw data from DTM. I am wandering in this case, what kind of data DTM is sending to GA? Any good document / video on how to setup GUA in DTM?Thanks,
Hello,We recently implemented a script on our site to capture the time it takes to render an above-the-fold element on our homepage (doing this to measure perceived page load). We are currently using the custom code below in Adobe DTM's direct call rule to set the time (integer with two decimals) to a numeric custom event. Event2 would be the numeric custom event we want the time value to set to and hpelement would be the data element that retrieves the value from the deployed data layer.s.events= "event2";s.products=";;;;event2= "+_satellite.getVar("hpelement")+""s.linkTrackVars="events";s.linkTrackEvents="event2";The above setup seems to work out fine except for a couple of instances when the time (in seconds) is set to an insanely high number (e.g. 5 million seconds vs. 4 seconds). When I look at the data in Adobe Analytics, these high numbers seem to be reporting from bot-related traffic (e.g. IP addresses from Google). My question would be if there's anything I can change in the cus
Right now adding resources when building a library is very cumbersome, depending on the situation. We can easily add any recently changed resource with that available option, or we can add a resource manually one at a time.I'd like to see an "Add all resources" regardless of whether it's recently changed or not, which would just add every resource instance using the latest revision.I think it would also be great to have a way to add multiple resources manually without the following back and forth process:Select Add a resourceChange option from "Changed" to "All" to make sure all resources show upSearch through the list to find the resource you want to addSelect revisionClick "Select this revision"Add a resource area closes (why?)Repeat from step 1There's no way (that I know of) to say, select multiple resources via some multi-select/checkbox system that could also just automatically select the latest revision (regardless of recent changes or not) to add all at once.
Our company (company A) monitors the web analytics for our sister brands as well, and at a certain point in the user journey they travel into the application side/essentially cross domain. Our parent company (Company B) then sees the user finish the process in their Adobe Omniture set up (Different Omniture than Company A). I was wondering if we put our (Company A) DTM snippet on the application/cross domain side will it interfere with Company B's Adobe Omniture tag? I know you shouldn’t put more than one Omniture tag per site, but I’m wondering if a DTM tag in addition to an Omniture tag will cause the same issues (or if it matters that they are under 2 different registrations/contracts).
When creating a push notification, we test it in the development version of the app. Once the notification has been successfully tested, we'd like to copy it to the production version of the app but in the MobileMarketing interface we can't find a way to do it. Could Adobe add a way to avoid creating the notification again in the prod environment and just copy the one that has already been tested in dev?Kind regards,Giacomo
I'd like to have the ability to control cacheing for my library with Launch. Is there a place in the UI where I can change these settings?
I've got DTM deployed on my site and I'd like to simultaneously deploy Launch. Can I do this?
I'd like to sign my company up for access to Launch. How can we get access?
I keep running into this error while I am logged into my org. I used to get around this by logging in on a incognito window, but now that stops working after a few minutes. Anyone else run into this issue?
Hi. We added some new elements on the source code. See below:var dtmAnalyticsData = {"channel":"REVIEWS","url":"\/2017\/12\/delta-one-lax-jfk-flight-review\/","pageName":"delta-one-lax-jfk-flight-review","author":"Daryl Chua","eVar20":"business class, Delta, Delta Air Lines, Flight Review, Flight Reviews","eVar21":"12252017","eVar22":0,"eVar23":1413,"eVar24":"","eVar25":"Delta, Delta SkyMiles"};I added data elements and set up page load tracking for the items listed as evar 21, evar 22, evar 23, evar 24, evar 25. However, I'm not seeing them in the adobe analytics reporting interface. Please help.-Robert
We used plugin (getPreviousValue )in DTM for capturing previous pagename in adobe analytics. When the domain changes (Pitney Bowes US | Digital Commerce, BI, Shipping & Mailing to Pitney Bowes Shop US - Shipping, Mailing and Equipment ) its capturing current pageName instead previous pageName. Does any one have fix for the issue? Thanks,Saila
Hi there,I'm trying to troubleshoot why I'm seeing my page load rules and SiteCatalyst code is appearing twice in my debugger tool. I've attached a screenshot that shows the SiteCatalyst account showing up twice and that shows "event10, event11, event10, event11" appearing to fire twice. The site I'm working on is: https://www.tysonfoods.com/Is anyone out there able to help me troubleshoot this? Thanks in advance!
How do i capture User experience rating (star rating) and Drop down list values in a form using Adobe Dynamic Tag Management? I'm trying to track them from this webpage Share Feedback on Your VITAS Hospice Experience | VITAS Healthcare
(From Kamil Kocemba on our former forum platform, 28 Oct 2016)We are seeing lots of crashes on iOS 10.It seems like this happens when the app is in background and SDK tries to access its database when it's located in a shared container. The system kills the app (SIGKILL) with code 0xdead10cc, which means unauthorized access to a system resource while in background. Looks like since iOS 10 access to shared container has to be performed in a background task (beginBackgroundTask) or at least it is now strictly enforced. Not sure if this is actual reason - mostly guesswork.Would really appreciate if you could look into this. Here's link to the issue on Github: https://github.com/Adobe-Marketing-Cloud/mobile-services/issues/187What's weird though is that this issue is iOS 10 only, used to work fine before.
Hello,I have setup a new direct call rule.I want to call another direct call rule using a direct call rule. That means if I call one direct call rule then the another one should be automatically get called. Is it possible to call a direct call rule using another direct call rule?Thank you.

Is it possible to run two different DTM codes within a single page? My company has franchise owners. We are running the corporate DTM code on a franchise website. The franchisee uses an ad agency to manage the franchise website. That agency also uses Adobe for analytics tracking. It was asked if adding their DTM code to the franchise microsite would pose any issues if the site already had code running. If this can be done, would I need one or two instances of the satellite page bottom code?
Actually my organization wants to move akamai to self hosting option in Adobe DTM, but i am not understanding how to do that.they want me to help on - "Configure these properties to invoke the SlingPost Servlet running on publish instance".if anyone can help me on that, would be great full. Thanks,Payal
Hello, I'm trying to create an event rule for a page where most events are driven by ReactVR objects, not by DOM API or CSS. I know that I can create a custom event, and track a click that way. (I found the answer here) But, because there aren't any CSS selector to latch onto, I'd like to know if and how I can get around having to use the CSS selector or if there's a trick for that. Thanks in advance!
Good afternoon,I'm running some POC's with Adobe AEM, Target and Analytics, I'd like to get a Token API to test integrations between these technologies.@Jantzen.Belliston Could you please help me?Thank you
Hi, I am trying to create page name based on URL. I modified the URL and form the page name. I did some changes like:1. remove www.2. remove.html3. change / to |Then I run into a very strange issue. For example a page, 5034 times the page name was correct. But 136 times, the page name showed wrong. somehow all the '-' disappeared and replaced with space. I checked the URL for those pages were correct. I am wondering anyone has any idea maybe what caused this?Thanks,-Cathy
I am trying to implement Adobe analytics in AEM Geometrixx sites using DTM. I have followed all the necessary steps to implement adobe analytics in AEM Geometrixx site as referred in this link(excluding target configuration). I have done this steps before few days , at that time it was working fine. Now it shows me the error as _satallite is not defined on the applied page of Geometrixx. I had tried the staging header and footer code and still its not working so I have tried production header and footer code as recommended to be placed in head and body of page . Thank you.
Hello Everyone - I'm a Digital Analyst (reporting side with very little implementation execution -- dev work) at my job but want to be able to add tracking to some new webpages that have been added (example -- jasonmurray.com is the domain but I want to add jasonmurray.com/blog as well as eweb.jasonmurray.com to our tracking). We added the Adobe Script that DTM recommends to the new pages but when I search for the URLs in Adobe Analytics they're nowhere to be found. Are we missing a step?I guess my overarching question is how do I implement new webpages on our website so that they can be tracked and reported on in Adobe Analytics? Thanks for your help everyone! Best,Jason
I want to be able to set the domain of my AMCV cookie to the window.location.pathname or equivalent. For example, I have a website with this url pattern:my.coolWebsite.comI have found that the cookie is set with the domain .coolWebsite.com. Unfortunately this is not the behavior I am looking for. I don't want this cookie to be available on your.coolWebsite.com. What I want is for the domain to be: my.coolWebsite.com. If you have any idea where I could set this in DTM that would really help me out. ThanksE
