Whether you're creating a rule for page or event, what is the process you would go through (for someone that is not technical) to determine the correct condition?  Where would I look, what would I look for, and what would I do to verify that the condition works?  -Robert

Hi thereI'm slightly confusing to how the staging library (via the DTM switch) can be accessed if it is not physically on that page. For all of my implementations I ask the devs to put staging on the test site and the prod one on the live site. In the real world, the flow of tag management isn't that simple as some clients only have a live site that I can work on. For example, I only have the prod satellite script on the site but can preview changes in the staging mode. This may be a simple answer, but I can't seem to find it. Another follow up to the confusion of this, is that I sometimes can't access the staging environment via the switch and I have to publish to see my changes, so the testing process is eradicated. Can someone shine some light on this, it would be much appreciated. In summaryI have prod script, sometimes can preview staging changes, sometimes can't using DTM switch. Many many thanks

Hi,Let us say I have integrated Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target with AEM using DTM,The events and properties from AEM, in real time reach Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target directly or they first come to DTM and then divert to Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target?Of course, the configuration of these integrations is done using DTM, but I am talking about the data flow in real time.Appreciate all your quick responses.Thanks,Rama.

We set up a third party pop-up using DTM via the direct rule type.  However, I wasn't sure on how we would integrate with adobe analytics to capture the impressions and engagements. Is it possible to add a data layer w/in the direct call script to tie this to the data element to capture the values?  -Robert

Hello,I'm having a few issues with firing events in a direct call rule.The direct call rule is set up to fire on each section of a accordion type webpage. As the customer opens each section a satellite track with the DCR fires (it imitates a virtual page). This is all working as expected and updating props and eVars with values from a dataLayer. We update the dataLayer on each click so the DCR can capture the pageName and create the virtual page.However I'm trying to set some events based on stages of these DCR firing (different pageNames).For example if the customer hits the page and the DCR fires I want to set two events (one HIT and the other VISIT), I'm using this in the Adobe Analytics custom code:/*Events - Start checkout*/if (pageName == "step1") {s.events = s.events ? s.events += ',' + 'event361,event461' : 'event361,event461';}This works but my problem is that the event is firing though each step, even if the pageName = "step2, 3, 4...."I've tried amending the code to just sim

Hi,When we implement AAM on a web site, DIL code is injected on to the web pages (either manually or automatically using DTM).DIL sends events, properties, etc from web site to AAM and we create segments inside AAM, using the Traits.In such a scenario, what is the value add for Adobe Analytics? Even AA creates segments!Is it that AA processes data a lot and offers a lot of reports?Appreciate your responses.Thanks,Rama.

I'm trying to add a meta-tag (google site verification) using DTM. I created a page load rule with trigger rule at the top of page and added the tag as Sequential HTML.The satellitelib js contains the page load rules but it is not writing the HTML in the header.Any thoughts?

Hi Adobe Mobile Engineers,I have following scenario.I'm receiving push notification in 3 different situations.1- App is in foreground 2- App is in background3- App is force closedI have followed collectLifecycleData and all that documentation.The sdk tracks analytics for deep link in 1st and 2nd case, although not in the 3rd case. Basically, if(MobileConfig.getInstance().mobileUsingAnalytics()) {  AnalyticsTrackInternal.trackInternal("AdobeLink", cData1, StaticMethods.getTimeSince1970());}Execution will not enter the if block in 3rd case. Note that my Notification Receiver activity starts collecting lifecycle data as the first statement in onCreate().and that is where I'm calling it to track the deep link url after that.

Hi,1. DTM injects JS in to the web pages automatically.But, by itself does DTM understand JS?If the JS has a semantic mistake, will DTM warn?2. Will the data come from web page to DTM and then only peculate to AA, AAM, etc?Or data bypasses DTM and reach AA, AAM, etc? Hi All,I have a question related to Tag implementation through DTM for a Form Submit.The form which I'm going to implement have multiple feilds to fill . I belive if any one of the feild is empty and user submit the form it incurs a server call which is of cost. My question is how to save the server calls for form errors if user submit the form multiple times with the errors.Please I would require your suggesations.Thanks,Balakrishna

Are virtual report suites supported with AMS? I attended a training back in 2016 that said they were not supported. Has that changed? If so, can you point me to where in the Adobe knowledge base it says that VRS is supported in AMS?

We've had problems for months getting event 57 to fire upon form validation. We re-wrote the validation script which seemed to work well with pages hosted in one of CMSs. I tried the same script on a page hosted in another CMS we use, but event 57 didn't fire. I do see in the console during form submit that event 65 is getting cancelled. Not sure why or how, or if it's related to 57.Does anybody see a problem with this page? Intending to implement Adobe Analytics along with Phonegap so as to define the custom events and track the events of the mobile app . Can anyone suggest me the best way as in plugins to execute this along with the proper documentation to carry out the same. After digging more into this, the easiest way really seems to be using the plugin provided by Adobe itself. Though no plugin is necessarily needed as proved by angulartics  which also supports Adobe Analytics with plain JavaScript. The plugin however can found from with the basic instructions on how to integrate. Basically it should be as easy as just installing the plugin with then configuring the ADBMobileConfig.json to match your needs, and then you can use it like after you have attached it to your create, pause and resume handlers appropriately.     Hi all,I have been having a few issues with accessing one of my accounts in DTM.I got invited to join one account, which has been fine.  I clicked the link in the invitation email, set a password and had no trouble.I then got an invitation to join a second account, which has caused me the problems.  I followed the same process and tried to log in using the password that I set.  When this failed, I then tried to set up a new password which also did not work.  So both attempting to log in as an existing DTM user and a new one have failed.Please could someone help me out?  I tried the support team but that was of no use - they pointed me in this direction.Many thanksVicky
