Dear Everyone, CaliseCheung​ , @107613 Mironchuk ,We have implemented Adobe Analytics in our Mobile Application using Adobe Launch SDK 5x.The implementation was good and we didn't see any gaps but we are seeing Application ID capturing as the Page Name and it is equal to the overall Page Views in a day i.e. Guess it is firing every time the page is loading.We tried to debug the image request and since because our Application Server blocks all the Proxies, we are unable to see the image request using Charles Debugger.The Page Views we are receiving is nearly doubled and thus it is a red alert for us in terms of Server Calls.Anyone faced this issue? Kindly guide on why and how to debug.And, if we didn't have the setup to fire the Analytics Server Call within the Launch, then what's the advantage of it?If i have the setup, at least we would have added a condition not to fire the Server Call for the Track State with Application ID or without any name.Kindly suggest the best approach.Thank

How do I integrate Launch with AEM 6.4? I used to use DTM with AEM previously, but I'd like to start using Launch.

Hello All,My question is of a general nature.  We are implementing our first instance of Adobe Analytics.  We have page tracking implemented, however the person working on my implementation (he ha,s as far as I can tell, never done this) is resisting tagging all link clicks or clickable events.  I have provided him information on global link tracking but he insists he must know "the important" click events to tag and is not understanding a page view is not enough.  I have always had all possible click events tagged globally as I view this as best practice, and we should not be tagging click events individually. Please tell me is there ever an instance where it is best to tag only some click events on your site?Am I incorrect that tagging all click events is best practice for both analytics and Target?Does global event tracking not make for less development work later if the click events changes? Thanks for your help. Thanks.

We have used the DTM to Launch property migration button to get several of our properties migrated over from DTM to Launch. Upon closer examination of the Launch property today, it looks like rules that were inactive in DTM were not copied over to the newly created Launch property. Has this happened to anyone else, or is this something that is unique to our company? 

Hi everyone!We're in the process of migrating from DTM to Launch. We use a lot of direct call rules for our single page applications as well as the usual event based rules.Early in the migration I noticed the issue described in this post here where events were stacking up and firing on every direct call. I added the clear variables action and that worked nicely.However, for direct call rules that use the s.t() call, I may be imagining things but I don't seem to have the same issue i.e. I don't need to use clear variables.Is it the case that if you're using the 'treat as page view' option in the beacon you don't then need to clear variables but whenever you use s.tl() you should clear variables i.e. in all event based rules? It would be great to get some clarity on this.Many thanks!

I would really appreciate if someone can help me with following question : Is the DTM staging library also links with the Launch staging library. If not does it mean that we need to replace DTM staging scripts placed in staging environment with Launch staging script?

Hello, I could upload assets using the cloud assets core service, but i have questionS on its capability? I wanted to share assets between aem and assets core service, what is the best way to go about it. I find no much information in the documentation where Asset Sharing with Experience Manager is emptyhttps://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/core-services/interface/assets/experience-cloud-assets.html#s...2. Is the assets core service capable of sharing assets only with Creative Cloud? Please let me know if this is capable of sharing/integrating with Adobe campaign, and AEM3. What is the storage capacity for the assets in the assets core service?

Hello team,  we have requirement of PDF tracking where few links with pdf extension and few are without pdf extension like below  https://www.abc.com/abc-pqr/view.cgi?f=223388.pdf https://www.abc.com/abc/pqr-xyz/travel/australia.pdfhttps://www.abc.com/abc/pqr-xyz/travel  This URL are auto redirect where PDF download.  If I want to implement custom event tracking to know how many clicks for pdf download what are the option.  

We have completed a successful ‘lift and shift’ implementation using the ‘migrate to Launch’ functionality, and everything is working OK. Am I safe to now simply swap the old DTM embed code with the Launch embed code?

I am migrating our implementation from DTM to Launch and I chose the "Manage the Library for me" option and when I load the page I am seeing rules fire, but then I am receiving this error message: [Adobe Analytics] Cannot set variables: Error: Cannot find the global variable name: "s".  

Hi, In Adobe Launch, can we have which Page Number / Screen Number we are on.  When you have a significant amount of rules - it would be good to know which page you are on or have the ability to jump quickly to the list you are in.   This was available in DTM and I would like to see this brought over.   Thanks

Is it possible to force the protocol (and url) to use for the tracking server by the generated launch script?In an Ionic App the protocol is file:// which by the generated launch script is translated into using http instead of https.It is possible to configure the tracking server url for http and https, but not possible to force the protocol.

Hello Team,  Is there any way where I can fire the extension on specific pages only and not on every page. For ex. Adobe Target v2 extension loaded on every page which adds chunk of JS code on every page even though the page doesn't have any experience loaded. This adds into main JavaScript file and had a major impact on our site page performance comparing to DTM. @jennifer_kunz @stewart_schilling

Is it normal for "App Users" (prebuilt Adobe calc metric) to be higher than the sum of First Launches + Upgrades when looking at a specific App id? 

My developer brought up an interesting problem with Launch: on a slow network, he sometimes gets a flicker when a page is loading. After numerous tests in Google Chrome where I throttled my network speed to "Slow 3G", I traced the problem to some Direct Calls _satellite.track() that are used in some rules' actions (implemented as custom code), i.e. there are rules inside Launch that include _satellite.track() themselves to other rules. When I blocked those min.js scripts in Chrome, the flicker problem went away. I also have Adobe Target, though on the pages that he experienced the flicker, there were no running experiments. We have also implemented the pre-hide script provided by Adobe (https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/launch/using/extensions-ref/adobe-extension/targetv2-extension/adobe-target-extension-v2.html#adobe-target-extension-with-an-asynchronous-deployment). Has anyone noticed this flicker before with Direct Calls?

Hi, How do we retrieve AAM UUID from AEP 5. The client wants to retrieve this ID and set it in a context data variable for both Android and IOS. I understand that the method to do this with Adobe SDK 4 was getallidentifiersasync. What is the method that we can use for AEP 5. is it identity.getidentifiers? If yes how do I then set the AAM UUID in a context data variable? Thanks and regards

Pretty simple stuff, just want to be 110% sure and understand are there any best practices or caveats around these issues.1. When Launch is deployed synchronously, there are two embed codes, one which you put in the <head> and another which you put before the </body>.Let's say we are self-hosting the script through another domain/cloud (if this matters in any way)a) What happens in browser if the Launch script in header is not available. So url doesn't exists. I guess you could ask this question regarding any .js file. Maybe you get error message in console that url X is not available or gives 404. But this shouldn't have any effect to user browsing the site, right?b) what happens (to browser) at the bottom of the page when satellite.pageBottom is trying to call/load. Hi everyone, We have recently migrated our property from Adobe DTM to Adobe Launch. We wanted our script to load asynchronously, hence we had removed "async" from our header script. The execution call for Direct call Rule is written in following manner in our code : try {      window._satellite.track('commonsPageLoad');    } catch (error) {      console.error(error);    } finally {      window.digitalData = {};    }Now , the execution starts with "try" block and call to DCR [ _satellite.track('commonsPageLoad') ] , but somehow, the "finally" block gets executed next before completing execution of DCR. This leads to clearing of datalayer , and no data goes with Adobe's image request, which is a serious concern for me. If anyone knows the reason behind this and solution, if any, Please let me know. Hi All,We are trying to make Push work for an IOS app and need a little information.I am looking for the documentation regarding the instructions on how to create the IOS Certificate (PEM) file for Adobe Campaign Standard?  I seem to recall that both the prod and sandbox certificate has to be in one file that is uploaded but can't remember much else. Kind regards  Robert
