Hi Team,I want to understand jcr:frozenNode or nt:frozenNode better in the CRX repository. I couldn't understand very well from the content available on the web.Issue - There is a step in custom workflow to replicate one content is approved, Does the version information go along with the replicated page data to different environment? I think it should but it does not get updated in our use case which might be an issue.

Hello everyone.We're using AEM on-premise and want to migrate to AEM Cloud.We use AEM's Commerce/Products functionality. To do this, we've created our own importers, which connect to a PIM system for data extraction (REST API). (myclassBrand extends AbstractProductImporter implements ProductImporter)Is this solution still valid in AEM Cloud?If not, what alternative do you see as viable?  Thank you very much.Best regards.

Hello,   I need to implement OAuth2-based authentication in AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS). I’d appreciate your guidance on the steps involved in setting this up, and if possible, I’d like to request any code samples or references that can help validate if a user is authenticated successfully.Specifically, I’m looking for:Steps to configure OAuth2 in AEMaaCS.Required configuration changes (e.g., OSGi settings, dispatcher rules, Adobe IMS if applicable).Any best practices for securing the endpoints or integrating with an identity provider.Sample code to check authentication status on AEM components or servlets.Your assistance or any reference documentation would be extremely helpful.Thank you in advance! Regards,Srinivas

Hi all,I want to block .infinity.json access for a particular page for example: /content/site/en/sensitive-page.infinity.json at the Dispatcher level while still allowing it for other pages. How can I set a specific Dispatcher filter rule to achieve this?Thanks in advance!

Hi Community, I'm working on an AEM project where I’ve implemented a path-based servlet that handles four different extensions (e.g., .json, .xml, .txt, .custom). The servlet is registered using @SlingServletResourceTypes with specific extensions. The issue I'm facing is that one of the extensions is not resolving correctly only in one specific environment (e.g., staging). For the problematic extension (say .custom), the URL resolution fails — the extension gets appended to the path instead of being resolved properly, and it ends up getting routed to some default Apache servlet instead of my custom path-based servlet. Here are some additional details: The same code and configuration work perfectly fine in all other environments, including local and dev. The other three extensions are working as expected in all environments. The servlet path and resourceType are properly configured and unchanged across environments. No custom Apache rewrite or dispatch

Hi All, I’m looking for best suitable Archetype to create a Multi module Maven project from scratch for AEM 6.5.17. After spent time on Internet I found ‘Archetype 53’  is the best one, because it has addressed issues like “merging velocity templates..” (while running the build), from previous versions. However the folder structure it created is different than my existed Projects. Please let me know your thoughts.I wanted to create frontend module separately as a new project, for that I followed https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-core-components/using/developing/archetype/front-end ,https://github.com/adobe/aem-react-spa but the results are not same/close to my existed FE project structure.Please provide your inputs on both cases. Thanks,Raju.

Hello community, Due to legal compliance, there is requirement to display versions of asset(pdf) with the current version. As version is getting generated under /jcr:system and not getting replicated even manually.Is there any work around for the same?Thanks

So I have setup my Dockerfile to use this entrypoint => ENTRYPOINT ["java", "-jar", "/opt/aem/cq-author-p4502.jar", "-r", "author", "-p", "4502", "-verbose"] and while this works, I do not see any logs in crx-quickstart/logs when I "logged in" into the container. I can only see the logs when using CRXDE/console or system/console/slinglogs --------------------------------If I change my Docker entrypoint to => ENTRYPOINT ["/bin/bash"].I can then run:#docker exec -it CONTAINER-ID bash #java -jar /opt/aem/cq-author-p4502.jar (once inside the container)and my crx-quickstart/logs will have the proper logs available to me.I would like to setup my docker/AEM container in such a way thatI get my logs in crx-quickstart/logs because I can use Linux tools to parse the logs.I would prefer that AEM auto-starts when the container is started. I do not want to run the java command manually if I can avoid it.In both cases, I do not have "VOLUME" setting in my Dockerfile. A

We have two separate pipelines in AEM as a Cloud Service — one for deploying PathFactory packages and another for deploying our main project code. However, when the project pipeline runs, it replaces or overwrites the existing PathFactory packages located in the app folder.@santoshsai  @arunpatidar  @giuseppebaglio  @konstantyn_diachenko  @muskaanchandwani

Hi There, I have created a purge scheduler config using local SDK, printed and saved configuration. However in config fields cron or interval field is missing. I deployed it on dev instance, however it did not run since last 4 days. Documentation for same does not specify how frequently does the purge scheduler runs. Some page quotes that it runs once a week. Is there a way to change this schedule to run it more frequently or force trigger it

Hi Community, I’m currently working on a requirement where I need to trigger a custom service whenever an author edits, merges, or deletes an existing tag in AEM. I explored using ResourceChangeListener, but it appears too generic for this use case. It doesn’t provide specific context—like whether a tag was merged or which properties (e.g., jcr:title or jcr:description) were updated. I'm looking for a way to capture detailed tag-related activities as precisely as possible. Ideally, I want to hook into the tag lifecycle and differentiate between operations such as update vs. merge vs. delete. Has anyone implemented a similar use case or is aware of any specific event handlers or listeners in AEM that are better suited for monitoring tag changes? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,Praveen

I’m using endpoint (https://developer.adobe.com/marketo-apis/api/asset/#operation/getTemplateContentByIdUsingGET) to retrieve the template content. However, when sending the email through C#, the entire output appears with a green background across the whole screen.How can I adjust my C# code to ensure the email renders correctly—just like it does in the browser?For reference, I’ve attached a screenshot below.

Hi all, can anyone share the latest PCI-DSS for AEM (Adobe Managed Services (Connect and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)?In the Adobe products compliance list | Adobe Trust Center there is no possibility to download the certificate.We need this for a PCI-DSS audit, Adobe is one of our Service Providers. Thank you!

Hi everyone,I am using the Groovy Console in AEM to update a custom property demo:status to "archieved" for all pages under /content/demo/en/archive that have a cq:template of myproject/components/page/article.Here is the script: def rootPath = "/content/my-site/en/archive"def resourceResolver = resourceResolverFactory.getServiceResourceResolver(null)def session = resourceResolver.adaptTo(Session)def query = "SELECT * FROM [cq:Page] AS s WHERE ISDESCENDANTNODE([${rootPath}]) AND s.[cq:template] = 'myproject/components/page/article'"def result = session.workspace.queryManager.createQuery(query, "JCR-SQL2").execute()result.nodes.each { node ->def contentNode = node.getNode("jcr:content")contentNode.setProperty("myProject:status", "archived")println "Updated: ${node.path}"}session.save() But I keep getting errors: javax.jcr.PathNotFoundException: jcr:content Can someone help me understand what’s wrong here?

This is my first time to take AEM DEVELOPER PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION exam. I joined the exam call via Zoom meeting where the proctor from Examity team frequently mentioned that I have poor connection even though changed different networks. So I asked her is there a chance that I can reschedule my exam and she said yes you can and ended the exam test. But when I went to portal to reschedule it says that I need to pay for rescheduling which I am not aware and not told by the proctor. I have contacted support@examity.com they mentioned that we only monitor the exam and we don't have access to reschedule this point was not clearly mentioned by the proctor in the zoom meeting. I have contacted certif@adobe.com and they are mentioning that I haven't appeared for the exam on time. So as per their policy I need to make new appointment for exam by paying. I was lost again here. Despite the efforts  contacting them for a possible solution for my issue I have been redirecting to pay a

Hi Team,I am upgrading AEM service pack to 22 and facing a weird issue -Currently, AEM is running on service pack 6 and it is on-premise software. I have perfromed an upgrade to the latest pack 22.After the upgrade, few vanity URLs are redirecting to 404 while accessing via dispatcher URL. Few existing vanity URLs are working fine.What I have checked already?Vanity URLs are getting resolved properly in AEM instance (system/console/jcrresolverNo duplicate pages exists with same vanity pathNewly created pages works perfectly fine with vanity URLOld pages (where issue is there), when i changed the vanity path from "test-vanity" to "test-vanity-1", i can see that the URLs are getting changed when i check on dispatcher using URL (libs/granite/dispatcher/content/vanityUrls.html) Any idea/pointers, I can check further! Thanks for going through my query!

Speed up Local Development in Multi-module AEM Projectsby @daniel-strmecki IntroductionDeveloping and testing in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) can be a time-consuming process, especially in large, multi-module projects with multiple teams working in parallel. If every small change requires a full Maven build and deployment, then the development cycle will dramatically slow down as the project grows.In this article, we’ll explore a few tools and commands that can supercharge your local development workflow. By reducing build times and enabling instant file synchronization, these tools help AEM developers focus on writing code instead of waiting for deployments. Whether you're building components, refining styles, or optimizing backend logic, these techniques can save you minutes, if not hours, every day. Key PointsFor standard CI/CD environments like GitHub Actions, a standard, full Maven build is still recommended. Here is why:Standard Maven is pre-installed in most CI/

Custom domain name with customer-managed CDN using Edge Key — AEMaaCS   by Imran Khan Overview Integrate custom domain name to an AEM as a Cloud Service website using CDE Edge Key.   As part of this blog we will configure and integrate custom domain name(client managed) to an AEM as a Cloud Service website using customer managed option using Adobe Cloud Manager. A Customer Managed CDN (Content Delivery Network) is a setup in which the customer — either an organization or an individual user — assumes full responsibility for configuring, operating, and maintaining the CDN infrastructure, rather than depending entirely on a fully managed service such as Cloudflare, Akamai, or AWS CloudFront. The X-AEM-Edge-Key is an HTTP header used by the Adobe CDN to validate requests originating from a Customer-Managed CDN. Overall Process: The AEM development team generates a CDN Edge Key and configures it in the Adobe Cloud Manager environment. Incoming requests from a Custome
