Adobe Experience Manager Sites

Hello All, I need some suggestion on how to take content back up every night in Dev and Tst regions!  TIY,Sai

I need to Dynamic XFA PDF to a Static XFA PDF. I need to do this because Docusign only supports Static XFA files. The help support page for DocuSign mentions that we should be able to "Save as Static XFA" but I can not find that option in Acrobat. Please note that I am not talking about conversion to a Static PDF which can be done simply by "printing" the PDF. I believe that a Static XFA file should still have the input forms.

I am in the process of updating the file structure on our 6.5 DAM. When I've moved a folder of assets to a new place in the DAM, the links to those assets from published pages get broken. Is there a way to move the assets and get the published pages to refer to the new location? I'm open to all ideas. Thank You!

Understanding the Difference Between Content Fragments and Experience Fragments in AEM by Mayur Satav Abstract In Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), two powerful features for managing and reusing content are Content Fragments and Experience Fragments. While they share some similarities, they serve different purposes and offer unique benefits. In this blog, we will explore the differences between Content Fragments and Experience Fragments, their use cases, and when to choose one over the other. 1. Content Fragments Content Fragments are modular, structured content pieces that can be reused across multiple channels and touchpoints. They are designed to provide flexible and granular content management. I have to implement chat functionality in AEM. Can anyone help me to analyze which chat tool support best result for AEM.

I am fetching userGroups associated with it.now, i need to generate a hashmap containing :Client Name vs ArrayList of User Groups    Session session = resourceResolver.adaptTo(Session.class);           Any help through this is welcome.Thanks.

I am getting an alpha-numeric value as part of request. For example -> If request has token=qoN3qSQ+KwL+uwbpzITSHDBRl3xuqM0AYx3CSkoSUU= as query param value, req.getParameter("token") gives us qoN3qSQ KwL uwbpzITSHDBRl3xuqM0AYx3CSkoSUU= So, basically it is ommitting the '+' from the value. How to resolve this?

We have a requirement to internally redirect, so when an users access the old page hierarchy they view data a new page hierarchy in the SPA. This would ensure that the Old URLs does not need to be updated with the new page URLs and continue using Old URLs. In traditional AEM implementations, we achieve this by configuring internal redirects in the dispatcher, as shown below: RewriteRule ^/old-sample-page/([a-zA-Z0-9-]+).html /content/new-sample-page/$1.html [PT,L] However, when we try the same logic for the SPA, the pages appear blank even though the redirects work fine. The rules used are as follows: RewriteRule ^/old-sample-page/([a-zA-Z0-9-]+).html /content/new-sample-page/$1.html [PT,L] RewriteRule ^/old-sample-page/([a-zA-Z0-9-]+).model.json /content/new-sample-page/$1.model.json [PT,L]  Do we need to make any other changes in dispatcher or SPA routing?

Is there a way to include custom HTML and javascript using Sightly? I'd like to be able to target certain elements and/or locations in a page, (e.g. immediately after </head> or immediately before </body> or <footer> etc.). How could I do this using Sightly?

When I request a translation via X-Connect, it sends a .zip file to the FTP server of the translation agency and in that zip file the HTML files for translation are normally named with the name. But recently, there is a set of numbers being added to the filenames which makes them too long.Example : home-page-_21-117619313.htmlIs there any dynamic indexing being added?

I have been working with AEM for a couple of months now in an asset management role. I had no part in setting it up - this was done by a third party company. Something that is consistently taking a lot of my time is deleting/refining incorrect smart tags. Currently I select an image, click 'Manage Tags' and then go through each smart tag one by one. Is there a more efficient way to do this? It has a real impact on the searchability of our system so they do need to be refined, but it seems like such a long-winded method.  For example, if all the images are from a white lab where people are wearing lab coats, a lot of the Smart Tags will be things like 'health' or 'medical'. It would be really helpful if I could remove these at a folder level - is this possible? Any advice welcome, because I have a huge amount of assets to go through! My company chose AEM because they thought the Smart tags would save time, and this is definitely not the case right now.

The page rendering component of my template just contains like below and there is no layout container for drag-and-drop components. <div class="container-class"> <div class="container-class-child"> <sly data-sly-resource="${'title' @ resourceType='abc/components/content/title', decorationTagName='div'}"></sly> <sly data-sly-resource="${'content' @ resourceType='abc/components/content/text', decorationTagName='div'}"></sly> </div> other html here</div> How could we use the style system for such components? as there is no way to add the policy for the title or text components in the template?is there any other way to somehow load the policies for those kind of components which are included in html? Thanks in advance.

Fetching the en.model.json is around 3MB causing long initial load times for the app. I see the "Accept-Encoding" request header allows: gzip, deflate, and br.  I'd like to add "Content-Encoding": "br" to the request to compress the text, but I see the request is handled by aem-spa-page-model-manager.  Is there anyway around this?  We want to keep the structure depth the same, so reducing that to reduce the json is not an option.

Hello All, How can we get the logged in user name or id in AEM service impl ?

Hello All, I have 2 checkboxes, if either of my checkbox is true, I should show same set of fields. I have tried using granite:class by giving space separated 2 classes but no luck. Does anyone have any idea what I'm missing here. Thanks in Advance!

One of our security team member was successful in accessing  critical AEM nodes by bypassing dispatcher using this special encoding technique that uses ASCII code for the } character (Example: * /.%7D./.%7D./.%7D./.%7D./.%7D./)To bypass authentication they downloaded an auth certificate using this vulnerability. We were able to address this by adding few entries in dispatcher filters. But we are not able to understand why ' } ' worked as valid bypass?

Hello everyone, when I am editing the component dialog in AEM, all the components have the error in the picture. When I try to enter different values, the following situations will appear: m (mm) -> save errorm (m) -> save errormmm (mm) -> save errorm m (mm) -> save succussm(mm) ->save succussmm (mm) -> save succuss Does anybody know what is the reason? Is it caused by some kind of form submission verification? Or where there will be related configuration?

Hi All,I have about 10k DAM assets that all require me to add a set of cq:tags to them. I have tried exporting the dam metadata adding the tags to the .csv and reimporting that (Column 'cq:tags' - Tags 'example:AU/NSW')Once I import it and check on an assets properties I do not see the tag in the tags field. However, if I export the metadata again after doing the above I can see in the cq:tags column the tags I imported.. which is a tad confusing.Any ideas what I might be missing here? Kindest Regards,
