Adobe Experience Manager Sites

Is it possible to use the MetaTitle added via the DAM of PDFs files rather than the title that would have been used at the time of the PDF creation?When a PDF link is shared via social or email, the title can sometimes me incorrect. Usually an oversight by the author. However adjusting the metatitle in the DAM doesn't update the <title> displayed in browsers, or when the link to the file is shared.Is this a known issue? Or is it something we can adjust in AEM to ensure the DAM MetaTitle is the one used in the <title> </title> of a page?

We’re exploring a migration from AEM 6.5 (6.5.19, Java 11, ~100-page static site) to AEM as a Cloud Service.Curious what others have experienced, like key things to watch out for migration challenges, no-go's, unexpected challenges.  Our website uses the typical1. 1 Language, region - en, us2. Assets3. Experience Fragments4. Tags5. ACS Commons - Lists5. No workflows, external API integrations6. Dev Stack : Java 11, Webpack, Bootstrap, React 18.2

We have approximately 20000 assets.There is a custom attribute on the asset ([asset]/jcr: content/metadata/marketing base information/releaseTime).When using querybuilder.json to query assets, if using @ jcr: content/jcr: lastModified sorting, the speed is fast. If using releaseTime sorting, the query time is 1 minute.I created an index, but it didn't work, and the query time is still 1 minute.Is there a problem with my index creation?

I have a SQL2 query that needs indexing: SELECT * FROM [nt:base] AS s WHERE ISDESCENDANTNODE([/content/homepage/jcr:content]) But I got this error:no proper index was found for filter Filter(query=explain SELECT * FROM [nt:base] AS s WHERE ISDESCENDANTNODE([/content/homepage/jcr:content]) , path=/content/homepage/jcr:content//*) Traversal query (query without index): explain SELECT * FROM [nt:base] AS s WHERE ISDESCENDANTNODE([/content/homepage/jcr:content]) ; consider creating an index I was wondering which field I could create index for here? Because I don't see any fields being used that I can index... Thanks~!

I have just finished configuring Dispatcher and have apparently made a configuration error that I can't see m to fin.  I have a server with Author, Publisher, and IIS installed on it, and I have configured Dispatcher to work with IIS (AEM 5.6.1, Dispatcher-iis-windows-x64-4.1.4).  I have activated teh Publish agent from my Author instance and that is working fine, I see page changes when made.   When I go to the Publisher URL (http://localhost:4505/content/geometrixx/en.html) I get the correct page view.  When I go to http://localhost/content/geometrixx/en.html I get a 404 error.  My dispatcher log shows the following:[Mon Feb 24 15:04:42 2014] [D] [3704(6024)] Dispatcher initializing (build 4.1.4)[Mon Feb 24 15:04:42 2014] [D] [3704(6024)] farms[website].homepage = /geometrixx/en.html[Mon Feb 24 15:04:42 2014] [D] [3704(6024)] farms[website].cache.docroot = C:\inetpub\wwwroot[Mon Feb 24 15:04:42 2014] [I] [3704(6024)] Dispatcher initialized (build 4.1.4)[Mon Feb 24 15:04:42 2014] [D]

Hi - My organisation receives imagery from suppliers, which is directly uploaded into DAM. Creative team then does edits if the assets are not meeting quality standards, which then creates further versions. In this case original image received from supplier becomes version 1.0. If we don't do anything this 1.0 version gets dropped by the Version Cleanup process at some point as the number of versions increase. My organisation wants to retain this original version all the time and let the intermediate versions drop.Is there anyway I can retain the original version?Regards,Kiran

Hello All, Recently I noticed that ZIP files that are stored in the DAM and are referenced in websites do not show their references (links) in the Metadata properties / References tab. Other files like documents, pdfs and images of course show their reference links, but the ZIPs dont.... Is this a ZIP file thing, or bug, or... ? This is important because when conducting asset audit I usually prioritise deleting files that are not referencing and are expired. This potentially may lead to a very unpleasant situation and is nearly impossible to check. Running reports to scan for references does not pick it up either... Running on-prem version with SP22.  Thanks! 

Hi Community, I am working on an AEM as a Cloud Service project and facing an issue with Dispatcher caching. When I request pages with different Sling selectors, they are getting cached as the same response. For example, /content/my-site/page.print.html and /content/my-site/page.pdf.html both return the same cached content even though the selector is different.How can I configure Dispatcher in AEMaaCS so that different selectors are cached separately? Thanks for your help!

In our AEM 6.4.3.0 Author instance we are seeing a lot of generated workflow packages (~1800) in /etc/workflow/packages. Much more than there are running workflow instances. The Workflow Purge is configured to remove COMPLETED workflows older than 30 days but this doesn't seem to remove associated workflow packages.Is there a way to get rid of the old workflow packages?

If yes to the question above, how can I do it?--------------redirect = I want to redirect the user from page X to page Y based on certain conditions. I know I can use a filter for this one but just wondering if it can be done from a Sling model. Thank you!  

Hi Community, I’m creating Content Fragments for multiple languages in AEM. Each translation ends up as a separate fragment with its own UUID.Is there a recommended way to link or associate these fragments together so we know they represent different translations of the same object? Thanks for your help!

Hey there, does anyone here know if a Brand Portal user with Editor or Viewer level can share collections they create with other Brand Portal users? At the moment my Brand Portal instance only allows (BP) administrators to share collections with specific users. I would love users to be able to share amongst colleagues or other users (not the public option, but to specific users they want their collections to be shared with).

Hi,this is my query, path=/content/damtype=dam:Asset1_group.property=jcr:content/metadata/productdata/itemStatus1_group.property.1_value=D1_group.property.2_value=X2_group.property=jcr:content/metadata/productdata/samsExpirationDate2_group.property.operation=exists3_group.daterange.property=jcr:content/metadata/productdata/samsExpirationDate3_group.daterange.upperBound=2025-08-283_group.daterange.operation=<p.limit=-1p.offset=0p.guessTotal=true   when I use the full property path for daterange which is under productdata not returning results. when I give property as 'jcr:content/metadata/*/samsExpirationDate' it's working and returning the results.   productdata node and property:   also property is added in the latest oak:index.what could be the reason?Thanks
