Adobe Experience Manager Sites

Hello AEM Product Team, I have a suggestion that I believe would greatly enhance the user experience within the Assets Folder. My idea is to implement pagination within the Assets Folder UI, especially for users with a large number of files. Currently, scrolling through an extensive collection of assets can become cumbersome and time-consuming. With pagination, users can easily navigate through pages of assets, making it more efficient to find and manage their files.I believe that implementing pagination in the Assets Folder UI as a feature would be a valuable addition to the Adobe product suite and further enhance the overall user experience. Best regards, @rawvarun  @joerghoh

I'm a beginner in AEM development, and I'm learning about event listening and handlers. I was stuck with some doubt and I searched on the internet but that didn't get more clarity so I am writing here.I know Eventlistener from javax.jcr.observation.EventListener is used to capture the events from only JCR level (correct me if I'm wrong, please )I'm not understanding what to use and when to use in  org.osgi.service.event.EventHandler and org.apache.sling.api.resource.observation.ResourceChangeListener or can I use both (why we have two then?) And, I saw in some blogs saying that OSGi EventHandler is deprecated so is jcr.obeservation.EventListener is also deprecated?Correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you

Hello Forgive the remedial inquiry, still trying to figure out AEM Assets Author. We need to share a documen file from AEM Assets to Ceros for viewing only. The user should not have the ability to edit the file but just view. How can we make that happen? Suzanne

I have an adobe cloud instance for my testing purpose. I control it using Adobe cloud manager. I usually test my plugin on it. Recently I have started facing a couple of issues which were non existent when I last tested (around a couple of months ago.) A part of my plugin's functionality requires a redirect to my website for authentication and other purposes. I started noticing that I am now getting this error.  One of my peers is noticing something similar.   I have not changed anything in my plugin, and neither have I updated the adobe cloud version. I can be fairly confident that if there was any manual change in configuration introduced, I would be aware of it. 1. Has there been anything new introduced by adobe, which has started giving me these issues?2. How can I address them?3. From my research online, I have only been able to find the solution of editing the Content Security Policy in my AEM Cloud Instance. But I assume that it is not po

Question regarding use and retrieval of tags from content fragments and onto the page properties. Currently, our tags are added on the page property level of each of our templates – this feeds into the data layer, meta properties etc. Future state: Want to populate components using tags at the component level, in this case, the content fragment level. Is it possible to expose the content fragment tags into tag fields of the page properties of our page for authors without duplicating tags and in order to avoid authors re-tagging content fragments?

Hi ,  i want to see if there are any defaults to disallow post calls to the dam for unauthenticated users or even a way to override the generic error message like "org.apache.sling.api.PersistenceException error message:Resource at content/dam/example .json is not modifiable" , where the sensitive information like path is disclosed and i want to override that with much more custom generic error message.  any suggestion on how i could do that?

Hey I'm new to AEM, I am learning about  Resource and ResourceResolver. So, I encounter with different codes from different websites while I'm learning. So some are using @SlingObjectprivate ResourceResolver resourceResolver; and we can also get the object of ResourceResolver by using resourceResolverFactory along with system user.So can I know what is the difference between both ResourceResolver object's? If i'm getting ResourceResolver using @SlingObject then what is the use of getting resourceResolver with system user?

Hi Team,     When we try access the third party API we are not getting the response from the request. Hi Guys, As you people know, In the latest AEM projects which are built using the latest maven archetype, The Client libraries( multiple css and js files) which are written in ui.frontend module are compiled into a single clientlib category(client-site). Will that not impact page performance ? Because all unnecessary css and js code is included on all pages irrespective of whether those components are used on pages or not. Please help me.

Hello Adobe AEM Community,I'm currently dealing with an interesting issue related to the Anchor Link Container within my AEM project. Here is the scenario:I've created a page using a specific template (let's call it Template1), which has a total of eight Anchor Link Containers. Each container includes a Title (acting as the headline) and a Content Fragment (acting as the value). Notably, the Title and Value are two separate components. The flow of loading is such that the Title component is triggered first, followed by the Value component. For the Value component, we've set a path to the Content Fragment, which may or may not include the actual value. The visibility of the Title & Value pair depends on the existence of the value in the Content Fragment. If the value exists, the Title & Value should be displayed; if not, they should be hidden. To manage this visibility, we check the Content Fragment value first, and then adjust a node property called "isDisplayTitle" to true/false

After doing a vulnerability scan we found the following vulnerability. How can I make the page not publicly accessible? It doesn't even mention what the page address is for this. I'm trying to find references to the servlet right now but am having a hard time.  Adobe Experience Manager QueryBuilderFeedServlet page is publicly accessible. Sensitive information might be exposed via AEM's QueryBuilderFeedServlet.

Need a help to create custom oak index for the Dam assets to fix warning like below  The query read or traversed more than 100000 nodes.

Hi, I have created a Sling filter and now I need to test it using JUnit. However, the test case is not running and is showing an error in the JUnit test. The error in JUnit is pointing to the line,MockSlingHttpServletRequest request = new MockSlingHttpServletRequest(context.resourceResolver()); Kindly provide me with a solution to make the test run successfully. Thanks, Lokesh

RequirementImplementing session managementSession duration is 30 minsAfter 30 mins, user session should be terminated and local data stored should be deleted. For the logout functionality, I've written a separate servlet that will be triggered on click on 'Logout' button. It will delete all the local user data stored in AEM.Now, my requirement is that if the user does not click on logout button and leave the session idle, session needs to logout after 30 mins automatically along with user data deletion. For the later part to happen, I need to call the method written in the servlet. How can I implement this?

Hi There, We have a custom workflow, which indexes a published page to Search Index (External). However when a user previews a page it indexes page to search index. We are already using `getAgentId` function from AgentConfig instance but Agent Config is always null even when both preview and publish replication agent instances are configured.replicationAction.getConfig().getAgentId() Using `Event` class's `getProperty()` returns all replication agent Ids event.getProperty("agentIds") Is there any other way to know which instance given page is being published to preview or publish

Hi,We are over-riding AEM cloud Tab component the tab functionality is working fine but when the user tries to hit the URL the first tab ID is appending in the URL automatically. For Example : When we try to access https://www.test.com/home.html and tif there is a tab component in the page then it is redirecting to the URL https://www.test.com/home.html#tabs-04676-item-64e6-tabAny idea is this the default behaviour?
