Hello I would like to rename an Experience Fragment (XF) root folder in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5 from /content/experience-fragments/old_name/de to say /content/experience-fragments/new_name/de. How can I do that? Many different components use this path to access the experience fragements and I have to account for all occurences.  The only options I see when I select the folder in AEM editor are Properties, Publish and Delete.  Thanks in advance!

I created one datasource in AEM cloudservices based on a SAP-WEB-Service. I used this within an AEM FormDataModel and configured it. When testing this FormDataModel, an error is shown instead of a propper result:com.adobe.aemfd.dermis.authentication.exception.AuthenticationException: AEM-AUT-001-007I can't find any hint on this problem ...in AEM error log, these lines are shown:19.07.2018 14:18:53.753 *ERROR* [127.0.0.1 [1532002733733] POST /lc/content/dam/formsanddocuments-fdm/z_read_material_g1d.executeDermisQuery.json HTTP/1.1] com.adobe.aem.dermis.core.servlet.DermisBridgeServlet Exception while executing operation com.adobe.aem.dermis.exception.DermisException: com.adobe.aemfd.dermis.authentication.exception.AuthenticationException: AEM-AUT-001-007at com.adobe.aem.dermis.api.AbstractConnector.getAuthDetails(AbstractConnector.java:383) [aem-dermis-api:2.1.6]at com.adobe.aem.dermis.api.AbstractConnector.executeOperation(AbstractConnector.java:455) [aem-dermis-api:2.1.6]at com.adobe.

How should  write sling model and HTL code  for this nested multifield?

Hello, I'm developing AEM component with 240 fields for AEM 6.5, and dialog opening takes about 5-6 seconds.I suppose that It's not good practice to have such many field per one dialog?Also there is some dependencies between fields, I mean show/hide logic which increases complexity. Is there any recommendations for number limit fields per one dialog?Many thanks!

I'm trying to extend a custom site banner component in my application from another project. I've created the .content.xml, dialogExtension.xml and extendedSiteBanner.html. However I'm not seeing the hide checkbox under properties in the component that I'm trying to add.Here's the xml for the .content.xml <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <jcr:root xmlns:sling="http://sling.apache.org/jcr/sling/1.0" xmlns:cq="http://www.day.com/jcr/cq/1.0" xmlns:jcr="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/1.0" jcr:primaryType="cq:Component" jcr:title="Extended Site Banner" sling:resourceSuperType="other-project/components/structure/siteBanner/v1/siteBanner" componentGroup=".hidden" sling:resourceType = "com.mim.aem.mysite.core.models.sitebanner.ExtendedSiteBannerModel"/> And here's the HTL: <!-- extendedSiteBanner.html --> <div data-sly-resource="${'/other-project/components/structure/siteBanner/siteBanner/siteBanner.ht

Hello,We have CAAS approach where we are retrieving the data from the Content fragments using Assets HTTP API.We want to use token based authentication mechanism and following approach of creating JWT tokens programmatically seems to be a decent approach AEM Service Credentials | Adobe Experience Manager This however is retrieving the Service Credentials from AEM Cloud Service Accounts. How can this be implemented for On Prem environments for retrieving service credentials for Step 1 mentioned above?

Using AEM 6.5, how can we limit the number of items to a maximum of six for our icon bar? I searched and found 'max' and 'max-item' to try, but neither worked when I added them to the iconitem in CRXDE. iconfieldLabel String Iconjcr:primaryType Name nt:unstructuredmax-item Long 6name String ./iconsling:resourceType String granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/pathfield

Is it possible to bulk tag assets in the DAM?  I'm being told no, and I just can't believe this is not possible.

Is it possible to provide authors the ability to upload svg images, but have these images converted to svg elements (paths) when the icon is rendered on the page, so that we can manipulate icon colors using CSS, based on which theme is selected by the author (light, dark, etc.)?

In order to use Experience fragments on AEM pages, we have created an experience fragment under(/content/experience-fragments/abc/language-master/en) and used on pages(/content/abc/language-master/en).Once rollout the page(/content/abc/language-master/en), the same language-master-XF is being rolled out to live-copy pages as well. So that all the links used in XF are language-master links even in live-copy domains.(This is creating an issue) To avoid this issue, we have created a custom rollout configuration. Once we use this configuration on rollout, all the reference links gets updated to respective live-copy links in live-copy XF.If we use language-master-XF on language-master page and rollout that page to a live-copy page, same language-master-XF is present on live-copy page as well.(This is creating another issue) To Avoid this issue, we are breaking the inheritance of that particular component on live-copy page and updating language-master-XF link(/content/experience-fr

how does aem prevents sql injection?

Hello,I have a two AEM components, and I'm going to use com.day.cq.commons.jcr.JcrUtil.copy() method to copy a set of JCR nodes(with childrens) from one component into another every time with PostConstruct method in Sling Model. I need to copy content from first component into second depending on author choice in the second component. So that the second component will have the same content as first.So my question is: are there any caveats during copy content JCR nodes between two components using this way? How safe is it?Thank you

Issue :We tried creating the jUnit using jupiter API for one of our nested multifield model, but currently it is not able to fetch the multifield and nested multifield values hence we are getting a NPE.Surprisingly, it works when we remove the tag <packaging>bundle<packaging> from the core pom file. Analysis : When we remove <packaging>bundle<packaging>, the default value of <packaging> tag which is 'jar' will be considered and hence our testcases are running smoothly. but we cannot remove <packaging>bundle<packaging> this from the core pom.  Any thoughts / inputs would definitely help us. Info:My project is created using lazybone templateCurrently it is on 6.5.13.We had to incorporate all the necessary junit plugins manually as the lazybone template doesn't have them.

We are having trouble with configuring dynamic media on cloud.In local enviroment the dynamic media configuration works fine, but on cloud it is not generating some folders and its always showing this error when placing image/video in dynamic media component:"No preview server defined for root ID referenced in net path".We deleted dynamic media configuration on cloud from AEM / Tools / Cloud Services / Dynamic Media Configuration / global and then created it all over again but it is not generating viewer folder(/conf/global/settings/dam/dm/presets/viewer) as well as _css and _dmsample folders.One more difference that i noticed when comparing local dynamic media config and cloud dynamic media config was the difference in /conf/global/settings/cloudconfigs/dmscene7/jcr:content. On local we have a previewServerToken property and on cloud we dont have that.Hope you are all doing well and any help is much appreciated!Best regards,Luka

Greetings everyone, See if you can help me with a question. I work on a project that requires the implementation of a multilingual website. We are working with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS). In this case, the client does not want to hire Microsoft's translation service. So, we implemented the i18n dictionary as part of the code, this being the best practice dictated by Adobe in the Cloud version. So far, we have managed to translate only the content that is in HardCode, dialog content is not translated, even though it is exactly as in the dictionary. We are using core components without access to dialog.xml How should I implement to translate the content of dialogs in the Cloud version, would using the Microsoft API be the only way? Thanks!We are using core components without access to dialog.xml

Hi Devs/Archs,       At present, our application parent pom.xml, we are using <aem.sdk.api>2021.6.5540.20210615T210737Z-210527</aem.sdk.api>. <version>2023.12.14697.20231215T125030Z-231200</version>. Our AEMasCS was latest AEM release version. My question was when we ran our application on AEMasCS, which sdk version will be take by AEMasCS ? whether it will take our application pom.xml sdk or AEMasCS latest SDK version? Kindly please let us know your thoughts...

Hello,We are using AMS in the Cloud and are currently using AEM 6.5.16.We plan to upgrade to 6.5.20. What I'm curious about is this:1. What should be changed in the POM file of the source code, (core component version, uber-jar version???)2. If there are any other things we need to change, please let me know. Thank you in advance

Hi All, Sometimes, we are getting below error, especially in Author instances:  Caused by: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Metaspace 04.04.2024 02:15:56.627 *ERROR* [FelixDispatchQueue] org.apache.sling.servlets.resolver FrameworkEvent ERROR (org.osgi.framework.ServiceException: Service factory exception: Metaspace) org.osgi.framework.ServiceException: Service factory exception: MetaspaceAny idea, how we can resolve these issues?

I have a client using AEMaaCS and Splunk that would like to auto forward the raw web server log files to an Azure Blob container on a daily basis. Specifically it is this log format:Apache HTTPD Web Server Access Logshttps://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/implementing/developing/logging#:~:text=or%20Access%20logs.-,Apache%20HTTPD%20Web%20Server%20Access%20Log,-The%20Apache%20HTTP Is this possible and if so how?Thank you
