Hi I am in charge of uppdating our service service pack and Forms Add-on for windows in my team.I would like to add a sugestion/request of adding a "Installed successfully" confermation line in the error.log (INFO level) for when the instalation has finished, just as there exists in the Service Pack (see bellow)*INFO* [Thread-1899] com.adobe.granite.installer.Updater Content Package AEM-6.5-Service-Pack-21 Installed successfullyCurrently when installing the AEM Forms 6.5.21 Add-on for Windows i just have to wait untill the logs stop moving for 2 minuts and i belive it woud be a good addition to add a "Installed successfully" line to the logs when the insatalation is done.Thanks

Can AEM Managed services for dam/sites coexist with AEM cloud for a period of time before the first one is switched off? What is the best way to have both working and what are the potential problems during the transition period ?

Hey guys, We received Libre Franklin fonts (.ttf) files which we want to include in our codebase.I am trying to add them to path - ui.apps/src/main/content/jcr_root/apps/project/clientlibs/clientlib-site/resources but get the below prompt - The following paths are ignored by one of your .gitignore files:ui.apps/src/main/content/jcr_root/apps/project/clientlibs/clientlib-sitehint: Use -f if you really want to add them.hint: Turn this message off by runninghint: "git config advice.addIgnoredFile false" Should I change my gitignore config or move it at some other location? 

HiWhat is the proper way of installing CQ5.5 for production? Using the standalone jar file or deploying the war file inside an application server? Please reply with reasons behind it. Thanks in advance.

Hi,I am using local sdk and trying with basic personalization with contexthub. I am getting the target mode and start targeting button on the page and see all the activities.But i am unable to get the target option on the component.I tried adding users to target-activity-memebers group as well.Is there any limitation of using contexthub targeting with aem cloud?I tried with both SPA and normal wknd site.

I am facing the classic HTTP error 503 while restarting my AEM instance.Error logs state the followingPossible reason is missing repository service. Check AuthenticationSupport dependencies I have checked that my bundle "Apache Sling Authentication Service (org.apache.sling.auth.core)" is activeI have followed the steps mentioned in this postI have given the instance a good one hour to start completelyNone of the above steps helped fix my issue. Please suggest any methods you're aware of to troubleshoot this issue. i need to manipulate node content programatically after author click quick publish button and send changed content to replication agent for activation. that is i need to filter put some paths from the published content and  send filtered content to replication agent for pubishing.

Is it possible to overlay the implementation of YouTube class? My requirement is to override the iframe src but it still calling the core youtube embeddable implementation. I know how to overlay implementation of core components ive tried to others like Embed component but i fail doing it in the youtube one. Anyone has an idea if youtube embeddable can be overlayed? Thanks alot!

Hi, When assets are uploaded, the Asset update workflow does not trigger on its own, but needs to be run manually.Any idea on this issue?AEM version used - 6.4.7 but works perfectly fine on another environment with the same version. Regards,Shibani

Hi All,we are attaching excel sheet which are referred from Adobe documentation ( covered 51 rules in Java , but attached sheet have 96 rules which are related to AEM as cloud ( dispatcher/oak index etc) https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-manager/content/using/custom-cod... We followed steps to install JAR by building this git code as per suggestion through adobe forum https://github.com/wttech/AEM-Rules-for-SonarQube, but how to bring other rules which are related to dispatcher /AEM specific rules related to AEM as cloud as per attached sheet.please share your valuable inputs/suggestion to bring those 96 rules into sonarqube.And also share some infights on sonarqube versions as well, Can we use community edition in AEM as cloud? CheersRaju

Hi All, I have a requirement where I have to display the latest version number of the asset in the card view below the thumbnail. We are already displaying the metadata properties of asset by overriding the PropertyList.jsp under apps /apps/dam/gui/coral/components/admin/contentrenderer/card/asset/propertyList.jsp. How do I fetch the version number here?Any pointers would be helpful. Thanks

Hi All, I am trying to implement some components which reads common page property and resolve a referenced content fragment and read data from it which again is shared across many components on page. To solve this problem, I can think of below approaches.Read this data again and again in my model class which does not seem optimal as I am reading this same data in many components.Set values in sling request attributes which is possible solution, but I don't like this approach. AEM: Sharing Data Between Components (alexlockhart.me)I am curious if I can just implement a BindingValueProvider so this property can be accessed directly in my HTL code similar to how other properties like ${currentPage}, ${properties} object is used. We have project specific contexthub config in our code. Its working in author and custom store candidates also rendering, whereas contexthub itself (etc/cloudsettings.kernel.js/conf/<project>/settings/cloudsettings/default/contexthub) not getting called on publish and dispatcher in cloud. All related code and configs are available in publisher. No related errors found on log as well. Please provide any pointers. Note: OOTB contexthub is loading on publisher and dispatcher. @jagadeesh_prakash @briankasingli @asutosh_jena_ @gaurav-behl   

Is it possible to migrate content from one org to another using CTT? For example, we have OrgA with an AMS setup and OrgB with an AEMaaCS setup. A user has access to both Cloud Manager instances. Can content be ingested using Ingestion Jobs from OrgA into OrgB?

hey guys, I have a requirement to basically create a teaser component from both image and video in AEM.The OTB teaser component works very well for images. But not sure what's the best approach to do when it comes to supporting video too. I was thinking creating a new component which has sling:resourceSuperType pointing to the parent teaser. And then this component can have its own video tab for dialog and a checkbox for media type based on which sightly can be conditional.But the default "Asset" tab for Images is still rendered in that case. I think it might be because of a tight coupling between Teaser and Image as seen from below configs -imageDelegate - core/wcm/components/image/v3/imagesling:resourceSuperType - core/wcm/components/image I had an alternate idea to let use the OTB Teaser for Image and then create a "Teaser Video" component just for the video.Anyways, what's the best approach to go ahead with for teaser with both video and image?

Hello! So this has been working for the longest time for me our SAML services had no issues. Recently my EC2 instance seems to have crashed or had a full reboot and now the SAML handler page is returning not modifiable. I have confirmed that the servlet is being resolved when I put the path in. I checked my Sling Referrer Filter and it has all the external resources and allows them. I'm kind of stuck now and just trying to roam around the configurations and site to see what might be the issue. Hoping that someone here could help! Cheers!   

I want pass list index value to sling model.<sly data-sly-list.img="${guide.itemsList}"><span>index:  ${imgList.index}</span><sly data-sly-use.multi="${'com.mycom.....MultiField' @ index=${imgList.index}' " />This gives me null value at model. I tried to with pass with quotes , it gets passed as string. Can any one help me to resolve this?   

Hi All, I have a use case where 3rd party system(webhook) make a POST call to AEM author and post it’s payload.In this case, I need to expose an endpoint(servlet) from AEM author.To do so, I did virtualise that endpoint through APIGW, whitelisted 3rd party system IP and shared my endpoint with 3rd party system.Here the issue comes is, the requests from 3rd party is not accepted by AEM because of its authentication, to address this I’m passing ‘basic authentication header’ or ‘alias’ from APIGW to AEM Author.But, one my leads mentioned that this is not right approach. @aanchalsikka , @shashi_mulugu , @veena_vikraman  Can anyone suggest better way? Thanks,Raju.

Hi. I have added new Apache Sling Queue (to Apache Sling Job Queue Configuration), with three topics (workflows). I have configured maximum parallel jobs to 1, and now I would like to check if this configuration works. I would like to assign small ammount of server resources for those workflows, because they run for about ~20 minutes and CQ slows down when workflows are fired, I set priority to min. Queue type is parallel (I'm thinking if changing type to ordered would be better ? I assume that workflows will be fired one by one, never two in the same time, but I expect the same result with queue type set to parallel and maximum parallel jobs set to 1).So how can I check if workflows fire one by one ?
