How to pass post parameters from a AEM form to REST 3rd party api and handle the parameters in servlet and using HttpsURLConnection

I am using REST based FDM with one to many association. In FDM, swagger was able to set up one to many association. However, I am not sure how to do data binding in the Adaptive Forms.   Let says I have Entity called Person which has one-to-many association with another entity called Address. Lets assume that there 3 addresses (Permanent, Current and Office) per person. I thought I can have 3 panels for each of the addresses. However, I am not able to set up the data binding. Any suggestion how to set up data binding for one-to-many association in Adaptive Forms?   Thanks in advance. [Reposting my question in the AEM Forms forum]

I have created a servlet and have implemented the http connection using HttpsURLConnection but unable  to connect the same to post.Post.jsp. I had created an object of that and tried implementing the function but can find not hits to the url in browser network.Kindly share an example or Sample example to connect to 3rd party REST API in AEM on custom submit action / on button click as developer ?

How can i make the AEM to take the globally installed node rather than installing the node again while deploying the project by using "$ mvn clean install -PautoInstallSinglePackage" as my oroganization blocks installation due to security reasons

Hi Community,    I am checking to see if there is an options to edit the XDP document within AEM OSGI 6.5 , without having to use the AEM forms Designer.    The end users would like an ability to directly edit the XDP file ( Change labels and some static text in the XDP file) from within the AEM ui, without having to download the XDP from AEM and upload it into the Designer. Is there a way this can be achieved? Please do let know.   Regards,

Hello! Does anyone know if it is still possible to get an AEM Forms or Livecycle license? Even an old refurbished version will do.

  Hopefully this is super simple and I'm just not seeing it.   We have an adaptive form that is using File Attachment to upload an image and it's submitted to a workflow.  We have an XSD bound to the form fields and file attachment.  All works well upon submission.  The file is uploaded and put into the relative payload to directory.  And, the filename is put into the bound field.   There is an assign task next, and we would like to display the image submitted and allow the user to change it.  Currently, simply binding the fields does not work.     Any help for this simple use case would be appreciated.   Thank you, Charles      

I have a list of documents that require periodic reviews. I would like to have a Calculated field that adds a Red border on the Title field when the Review Date field is =< Today, and Amber if the Review Date field is Today -1 Month. JS is not allowed hence the need for a Calculated field. Title - Text Filed Review Date - Date Field Todays Date 21-11-2022 Document 1 25-10-2022 Red border because it is past Review Date Document 2 12-12-2022 Amber border because it is within 1 month of Review Date Document 3 20-02-2023 Nothing as it is over 1 month from Review Date   Thanks in advancePete

We have built a set of custom Form components that have superResourceTypes of core guide components.    We also have some xdp files that we are using to define the data model.    From the editor left hand panel (Data Sources selected) we would like to be able to drag an item onto the form and for the editor to insert one of our custom components rather than the standard set. For example rather than  /libs/fd/af/components/guideradiobutton in inserts /apps/ourapp/forms/components/radiobutton   I was hoping to find a mapping definition but I cannot find one.   Has anyone done something similar?

In AEM Forms as a Cloud Service, is it possible to store user submitted data in the CRX Repo itself without any external data storage? Any help in topic is much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there,   I have a set up where email is deployed from Adobe Campaign Standard, and unsubscription form is hosted on Adobe Experience Manager. The unsubscribe form is submitted by a customer and then Profiles API is used to send the data across to Adobe Campaign Standard where it's updated against the customers profile.  I need to encrypt the unsubscription URL for PII when a customer unsubscribes from an email on the AEM side, then decrypt the PII on Adobe Campaign Standard side so profile can be updated.   Any suggestions on whether there's out of the box functionality within the Adobe product suite, or help here would be much appreciated!  Many thanks in advance.

Hi,  I'm designing a form in Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES4.  I have a static table that has two columns.  There is a row with merged cells.  I have two check boxes wrapped into a subform.  One caption is wider than the left column, so when I try to add the subform with the check boxes into the merged cells, the merged cells act like they are not merged, it expands the merged row like I'm adding the subform to a non-merged column.  Is there a way to add objects to a merged row in a table and keep the table size what it should be?    

I have a form which is updated by users all throughout the year.  They have been instructed to add payroll classifications in order of seniority.  If the form was completed and saved at the beginning of the year and then later in the year a new classification needs to be added, to be kept in order they add the new classification where it fits in seniority.  This might not be at the end of the form.     When a new classification is added within the current classifications, this messes up the payroll classification summary on the last page of the form.  So in this example of a completed form, the user has entered 33 payroll classifications but only 6 show up on the summary because all but those 6 were not entered at the end.  I.E. # 3, Real Estate Specialist was apparently physically entered after #2, Principal in Charge instead of at the end of all the other classifications, causing it to be ignored in the payroll summary page.    

I have a form that has 2 subforms with 2 fields in each. The subforms are each hidden and become visible based on information entered in a defined field.  I have set the tab order to include the fields in each of these subforms but the tabbing does not work. I don't even know if this is something possible.  Subs are Sub22 and Sub 23.  If the FFY field is set at 23 then Sub 23 appears and the order should be FFY, Campaign, Enforcement, Date.  The same for Sub 22 if FFY is set at 22.  Only one sub can be showing at any one time.   https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iH0cUxE4MfEpmtEX0u2NOLi18Z8sGKbB/view?usp=sharing 

Hello everyone,please I need to know how to make accessible objects like: text field, data fields and the other dynamic ones. I've just set the order through the tab "tab order" and added a tool tip from the tab "accessibility", then I set up all the Form Level Validation Settings. It works correctly with the screen reader but it doesn't pass the validation on "Vera PDF" software and these are the two errors reported: Does anyone know what these are refferred to? And so how to fix them?

I have a rest endpoint that I want to invoke. I dont want to use fdm, how to invoke AEM servlet from form? can we set checkbox dynamically with servlet response?

Good morning,   I've got  quick question this morning for you all, you know when you use the Patterns button on an object and that you then add a string of text under 'allow empty', what it does is it displays that string in the field and if you click into the field, the string disappears, and if you type out of the field without writing anything, it puts it back.   Thats great!!!   Can i replicate the same behavior but using JAvascript???   Thats it, just curious to see if its doable 🙂 Patrick    

Hello everyone, I used a lot of brain cells to even understand how dynamic forms work.Now I've reached my limits with Java script 😜. My task:In the inserted file, a mail button is needed with the following properties when the button is pressed:a) All fields are locked for filling - only reading of the PDF is possible for the recipient.b) Opens Outlookc) Adds the form in the attachments.d) manually select the recipients and send it manually.   How can I do that with a button?...is this possible?Is it possible for you to include a button in the inserted file as an example for me?...to copy this to other school forms as well. *The file was created with LiveCycle ES4 and works with Adobe Reader DC.   File Link: Notifications for school I didn't know how else to insert the file .   Thx in Advance   Niko

Can I have more than one copy of XDP with adaptive forms?

We would like to have two toolbars in our forms which are a set of panels that are managed in Wizard mode. We would like the Next, Save and Submit buttons on a bottom toolbar and a back button on a top toolbar that appears before the current form panel.    Whilst we are in Wizard mode, so we could have the prev/next buttons, we actually hide the Wizard navigation through CSS.   So has anyone got any suggestions to have back button toolbar in addition to the other bottom toolbar?

Problem Statement: We are using AEM out-of-the-box Adaptive forms for our application. Here when a new user tries to register to the portal, a code will be sent to the end user's webmail id for activation and further clicking upon the link will redirect them to the pre-registration page. This functionality is working fine when they access their webmail on the same browser, Wherein it throws 404 on cross-browser( different browser/mobile/devices) account activation. Root Cause Analysis: Below are the current scenarios that we are seeing: 1. Account creation and activation on the same browser on Laptop / Desktop – Successful.2. Account creation in 1 browser and activation in different browser on Laptop / Desktop – Unsuccessful (throws 404 )3.
