Hello,   I need to add Dynamic validation to /libs/fd/af/components/guidefield component.   It is dynamic because  for each selection value, I select there must be unique validation applied to guidefield component based on user input value to the field.   For example   Selection 1:    A>guidefield  validation must be regex applied must be  AXXX-XXX4 B>The error displayed must be please enter in the format AXXX-XXX4 Selection 2  : a>guidefield  validation must be regex applied must be  BXXX-XXXX-XXX9 B>The error displayed must be please enter in the format BXXX-XXXX-XXX9   could you please provide  inputs as how this could be  implemented and how to apply dynamic error messages.   Regards, Srinivas

Hello,   I have a text field component and need to change the validation dynamically based on selection drop down.   Could you please provide inputs as how to resolve it.   I . We can get the component details using guidebridge using  let text_component =guideBridge.resolveNode("text_input_component");   2.noticed that  displayPictureClause is used for validation. How to set it I can get the current value set by doing    text_component.displayPictureClause   But my requirement is I would want to set it dynamically.   by doing text_component.displayPictureClause="regex expression"   does not work.   3> I would want to set the validatePictureClauseMessage also dynamically    

Good day,   I have a table row which is hidden.  The script is in the initialize event.  The row appears when a selection is chosen in a row that contains a drop down menu.  I also have a button that creates a similar table.  The problem is that when I create a similar table, the row is hidden again. I need it to stay visible and to keep the same information that is in the previous table. I'm pretty sure it's because of the script that is in the initialize event but I'm not sure.  The script is...this.presence = "hidden";I could not figure out any other way to hide this row when the form is opened.  Is there a script to add to the create similar table that I should use? or do I need to remove the script from the initialize event?  Not sure what to do.  Any suggestions/fixes is appreciated.

Does anyone know where the LiveCycle Designer es2 Download is? I cannot find it anywhere now. It always links to es4.  As well, if a form is done in es4, does it work in Livecycle pdf generator es2?Thanks

There may be times that minor touch ups to out-of-the-box submission actions for addressing business needs through Sling Resource overlaying may look an appealing option.  However, it was found in our environment that applying the concept of Sling Resource Merger in AEM against out-of-the-box submission actions doesn't always work.   When overlaying components in /libs with structure in /apps, it is not necessary to create 1:1 copy of the resource or node, however, in the case of AEM Forms submission action, it's not the case.  Doing so will end up a working submission action overlay but the Forms Authoring UIs will no longer present the overlaid actions in the form submission type drop down list.    After investigated, it turns out that the Forms Authoring UIs use following code from /libs/fd/af/components/commons/datasources/propertyprovider/propertyprovider.jsp to present the available submission action type:     optio

Hi all,    I am trying to submit an adaptive form via REST endpoint to a SharePoint list. I have added the SharePoint URL for the "URL for POST request" and when I try submitting my data, I am getting this error. [AF] [AEM-AF-901-004]: Encountered an internal error while submitting the form.   Can anyone tell me what this means and how I can resolve this?

Hello,   I have a form with a dynamic table. You can add or remove rows via buttons. Before sending the form I want to execute a for-loop over the rows to hide these buttons.   The message box shows the right number of rows: xfa.host.messageBox("Number of rows: " + Formular1.receipt.table.dataRow.instanceManager.count);   But unfortunately I don't know the commands for the loop. Hi, I am trying to calculate the difference between two dates in an HTML5 form. The following code in the XDP template/form works in Designer's PDF preview tab but it does not work in Designer's "Preview HTML' tab and when the form is uploaded in AEM and rendered as HTML form. The field appears blank. The calculate event with FormCalc Language is used. Abs(Date2Num(Table1.Row3.DateField2, "YYYY-MM-DD") - Date2Num(Table1.Row2.DateField1, "YYYY-MM-DD")) I also tried the DateDiff function as JavaScript language and the result was also blank. In the AEM Core Form Option component, the authoring dialog has a dropdown for option 'type'.  Out of the box, the available options are 'Checkboxes, Radio buttons, Drop-down, and Multi-select dropdown'.  Is it possible to add a custom option to this list (like a group of buttons)?   It is easy enough to change the authoring dialog to offer the option, but the Sling model implements the following Options interface that defines an enum for possible values:       Is it possible to add a custom enum value (like BUTTON_GROUP) without changing the source code? I tried extending the OptionsImpl class via the delegation pattern, which is the sling model that uses this interface, but I can't override its getType() method that returns the interface's enum Type to return my own enum with the new value

I am current building an application to convert xdp to pdf,  In order to xdp to be rendered correctly, I have a custom lib which contains fragements for xdp config/ref to be used, so ultimately the xdp will become to a webform user then can fill and submit, then pdf getting generated   e.g say i have something like this http://localhost:4061/content/dam/formsanddocuments/myapplications/Customs/1.0/MyForm/MyForm.xdp/jcr:content   Then in my crx/de I have the xdp setting as:   If you look at it's usehref path, it is pointing at  ..\..\..\****** , so it is reading the render fragment from :     which does its job correctly.   BUT, if I place the common lib folder into  something like below,    /content/dam/formsanddocuments/myapplications/MyForm-Common/7.0   and changed the ref to "..\********" :   It stop working (not rendering xdp correctly) As you can see already,  the same Header.xdp , node type becom

When we are trying to access the servlet using postman . we need to insert jcr:content along with the page path and the selector and extension for the servlet . I've created a formset from combining a few xml forms all with multiple pages. I'd like the page numbers on the forms to be continuos across the formset instead of 1-x in form one and then 1-x in form 2 etc. I'm unable to find any documentation on how to accomplish this. Has anyone been successful?

Hello experts,   One of our client has good storage of promotional materials on Windows drive, and metadata is being maintained via MSSQL DB. Customer wants to utilize AEM Forms Document Service API  (OutputService) to print a PDF. While printing the whole PDF customer would like to assemble and merge few promotional materials from Windows drive. However AEM is hosted on Linux.   We would like to know following: What is the best protocol to read promotional PDF via http (such as WebDAV) Can we mount Windows drive on Linux server as a local drive and read PDF using WebDAV Will we need to download PDF first then we can read in Document Service API or after mounting we can directly read from path via WebDAV protocol   Please note we do not want to use smb/cifs http protocol such as WebDAV could be an option we can to avoid latency of download and then read so mounting the drive and reading via WebDAV looks an option   Please share your best practices, thank yo
