Hi Team,   Can you please help me what Adobe LiveClycle ES4 & Adobe LiveCycle Designer ,How its different from AEM Forms OSGI (within AEM ) & AEM Forms JEE (outside AEM but still calling as AEM Forms xxx)    We are using AEMaaCS For Smart features like Barcode Automation, Field level validation, and Dynamically adding of fields to the designed form ,can we use the AEM Forms OSGI or JEE or Adobe LiveCycle    what is  Adobe LiveCycle Designer vs AEM Forms Designer ,Is AEM Forms Designer part of AEM Forms OSGI or JEE   Regards Vara

Hi Team, We are trying to download assets programmatically from DAM in their original form. We had tried AssetDownloadService -available in Java, for downloading but assets are getting downloaded in zipped folder which is not the requirement in our case. We are using AEM 6.5 and it is on premise. Kindly let us know any pointers on the same.Thanks.

Created a Content Fragment Model and used a Content Reference data type. The "Accept only specified content types" is set to Image. When using the model to create a Content Fragment, it works to select typical image types such as PNG, JPG and SVG. However if a SVG is selected the GraphQL query does not display ImageRef information. It works for other image types, not SVG. Model:  Content Fragment:  Query: { imageTestList{ items{ title image1{ ... on ImageRef { _path _publishUrl } } image2{ ... on ImageRef { _path _publishUrl } } } } }   I have set image1 to be an SVG file and image2 to be a JPG. Is smart tagging in AEM used to give tags for the already available assets in DAM or only for the future assets which are to be added.What are the benefits of adding smart tags. Can anyone guide.  

Unable to see any of the dynamic or smart crop activities even after connecting to dynamic media. Connection was successful as I can edit or crop and rotate but don't see any type of renditions on the left hand side timeline options.  

Hi dear community!I just encountered a problem that wasn't on my map a few days ago.The DRM within AEM works as described in the documentation.Add metadata to "./jcr:content/metadata/xmpRights:WebStatement" and have the option go to"/apps/settings/dam/drm/licenses/example.html" or "/conf/company-name/settings/dam/drm/licenses"  (depending on where you have it)or to "./jcr:content/metadata/adobe_dam:restrictions" and have a text in there. ...and the Copyright Management page works as like a charm within AEM Assets.But only"./jcr:content/metadata/adobe_dam:restrictions" is working in Brandportal.I recon this behaves that way since the information that needs to be displayed is written inside the metadata of the asset and Brandportal is able to read and display it.Yet the folder, that is suggested by the documentation, does not exist in Brandportal.Therefore the Brandportal does not access the Copyright Management. We have been trying to restrict PDF documents upload to Dynamic Media (from AEM 6.5 integrated) without any success. On manual upload and publish, things look good - only images are sent to DM, not PDFs. But fails programmatically. Any ideas anyone?

Hello!Is it possible to resize a smart crop using image modifiers IN an image profile?  We have smart crop aspect ratios that are set in stone and not allowed to add additional ones. I am wondering if a workaround would be to use an image modifier (from the HTTP protocol commands) in the image profile? For example setting the scl= to scale the image down.  I haven't been able to get it to work but maybe I'm doing something wrong.Thanks!!

Hi Team,There is a need to show the pdf from scene 7 URL instead of AEM dam URL. Images on the website are loading from Scene7 which are available in AEM dam (showing in the attached image). How to achieve same for PDFs?

Hi,  On admin console, we have a custom product profile and one IMS Group (AD group) is mapped to this Product profile. In AEM I can see both Product profile group and IMS groups are synced but that the IMS group is NOT showing as member of Product Profile group. My question is, does mapping of IMS group to product profile also gets synced to AEM as-is or we will have to add IMS group to OOTB AEM group (e.g DAM-Users) and manage permissions? Which is appropriate mapping to manage permission in AEMasCS ? IMS Group--> Product Profile Group--> DAM-Users IMS Group --> DAM-Users I can see IMS Users--> Product profile mapping is synced in AEM but not IMS Group-->Product Profile. Can someone please guide?

Hi All,Have below requirement which needs to be design for execution.1. Initial, 3rd party app invoke 3-step process (initiate upload, uploadURI, completeUpload) to upload assets onto AEMaaCS.2. Once upload of asset is complete onto cloud, AEM will quick start.3. AEM needs to start processing custom metadata (comes as request attributes when upload request is made from front end).4. After custom metadata is processed on Assets it needs to be replicated accordingly.Can anyone let know how this can be design for achieving the use case specified.Thanks in Advance.

I would like to layer two assets (a still image and a play button) from AEM and deliver them as a single asset via a URL. I think this IS possible but I'm not having any success ... OR is it not possible. If it is possible, are there any tutorials on structuring the URL to do this? Thanks!Adam P.S. Hi again community, I've been managing assets for a client for some years and for the first time had a file blacklisted from the dam and wouldn't allow users to access it. It would show in the library as an asset, but the thumbnails were absent and when you clicked on it, AEM would return a block error. I worked with my dev team and they determined that it was because a specific string/word was used in the filename. In this case it was `frames`. I asked them if they could provide a list of blacklisted strings/words/phrases and they said they didn't have one. I'm guessing it was an OOB best practice filename blacklist. Is there such a list in the AEM documentation that I'm missing? I did a search in the support section but couldn't find anything. I'm sure its there, but I probably used the wrong search terms to get the desired result. Anyone have it handy, or know if one exists?

Hello, I'm getting the "Failed to Delete" error when I try to delete any of my Assets. I'm signed in as an Admin with all of the correct privileges. Hi, I'm working on AIO function that handles asset processing. Business logic requires to upload new asset to AEM or update existing one and republish if it's already published. I have asset successfully uploaded but I can not find any API endpoint that would let me publish the asset. What would be the best way of doing this?I've checked the AEM Assets HTTP API and I couldn't find such an option. I've also gone over Assets developer use cases but replication doesn't appear to be covered by the documentation.

Hello, Community -- Our users have a requirement to be able to zoom in on images within AEM Assets. Is there an option to do this within AEM Assets? When clicking edit on an asset, we see the toolbar in the attached image, but it doesn't have a 'zoom' option. Any help is appreciated!

Hi All, For utilising the Smart Tagging option for Assets, i have created a cloud service configuration in AEM and created an Smart Content Service API in Adobe Developer Console with Adobe ID having administrator privileges. While validating the configuration in JMX console, it shows that Service version check is failed. Hi all, I am running AEM 6.5.17 and I want to understand the role of the DXML processes, especially the DXML Post Process Initiator. I found older documentation that says that this DXML Post Process Initiator process is required when transitioning from AEM 3 to 4 but I cannot see it in the newer AEM 6.5 versions inside the DAM Update Asset Workflow. Is it still needed and why? Thank you,Ana

I’d love to see end users be able to choose how they want their assets rendered out on download. For example, I’d like to just keep a high res psd file of our images in the DAM but when someone goes to download it they can choose to have it rendered out as a jpg, png, etc and we could also specify the dpi as well. I know there are currently renditions in there but I haven’t been able to find a way to only select the rendition(s) I want vs. downloading all of them.
