Hi everyone,Our storefront runs on Edge Delivery Services (EDS) with Universal Editor. PDP routes like: Public PDP (example): https://shop.example.mx/p/product-slug-123Current mapping target: /p/default We noticed Folder Mapping shows a deprecation notice in the docs. We want to move to the supported approach while keeping PDP SEO correct (self-canonical, structured data, crawlability). Questions: What is the recommended replacement pattern in EDS to serve many PDPs without Folder Mapping, while still supporting per-URL head (title, meta description, self-canonical, Product JSON-LD)? Any reference implementation or sample project for this new approach? Key SEO pitfalls to avoid during migration (duplicate content, canonical conflicts, caching/invalidations). Goal:A short, official path to migrate PDP routes off Folder Mapping with no SEO regressions.

HelloI would like to understand what all file formats does DM supports. I understand that DM is primarily for delivering media files like images, videos, audio etc. But can we use DM to deliver files like docx, xlx, ppt, pdf etc which are uploaded to AEM and synced with DM. Does that make any sense doing so?Thanks

  We have OOTB  feature to GET notification incase of duplicate Asset uploaded ,If we enable the  Asset duplicate detector configuration . Can we extend this com.adobe.cq.assetcompute.impl.assetprocessor.AssetDuplicationDetector class to send email instead of notification in AEM as cloud.  Please suggest solution for the same. 

Hello Team, We are in the process of integrating Asset Share Commons into our project to enable external users to access DAM assets.I have referred to the following documentation and added the required dependencies for Asset Share Commons into our project:Getting Started with Asset Share Commons However, we are not able to see the sample content in AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS). Hi, I created a sample AEM Forms project using archetype 54 and core components dependency. I am submitting form data to locally deployed servlet using 'Submit to Rest Endpoint' option.The form submission is failing with internal server error and I can see the exception like below in the log(I added separate logger for 'com.adobe' and 'org.sling'). Hi,I’m running AEM locally on my machine and I often need to upload a large number of assets (images, PDFs, etc.) into the DAM. Is there a recommended way to bulk-upload assets into local AEM? I know I can drag-and-drop in the Assets UI, but that isn’t practical for hundreds/thousands of files. Appreciate your help!

Can we migrate from Flexible Port Egress to Dedicated Egress IP in AEM as a Cloud Service, and if so, what's the recommended process including whether we need to delete the existing configuration first, how it affects different environments, and if there will be any downtime or code changes required?

Hi Team, Initially, the code worked as expected without using the embed property, while running on AMS AEM 6.5 (exact service pack version unknown). We are using the org.apache.sling.servlet-helpers dependency, which is correctly declared in the pom.xml. However, we suddenly encountered an issue with the target sync functionality. Upon debugging, we discovered that the servlet-helpers JAR was missing. The JAR is not visible in the AEM console or listed among the active bundles. To resolve this, we applied the embed property to include the JAR under the /apps folder. Unfortunately, this workaround has led to Sonar issues related to the dependency. We are currently using AEM version 6.5.21.  The servlet-helpers JAR is available in AEM as a Cloud Service, but it appears to be missing in AEM 6.5. We're unsure whether it was replaced or bundled within another JAR. Is it acceptable to manually install the JAR via the AEM console under bundles, or is there a recommended way to

TLDR: I'm trying to investigate query param caching (example: /archive.html?page=xxx&year=yyyy) in my local dispatcher and I'm not sure how to test for it.-----------1.  If I visit https://www.myhost.com/content/myapp/sg/en/faq.html, I'm pretty sure an HTML file is created in the dispatcher filesystem (maybe in /var/www/html).If I visit http://localhost:8080/content/myapp/sg/en/faq.html, where can I find the HTML file for this page?I tried this command (after running docker exec) but it only found the default Apache HTTPD index.html. Hello Community, In our AEM setup, assets are synchronized with Dynamic Media upon activation. On the Author instance, the dam:scene7FileStatus attribute is updated to PublishComplete after activation. However, on the Publisher instance, this attribute remains as PublishIncomplete, which makes it unreliable for confirming whether the asset was successfully published to Dynamic Media. Given this scenario, what is the correct approach to determine on the Publisher instance that an asset has been successfully published to Dynamic Media and that its Dynamic Media URL can be safely used? Are there alternative attributes, APIs, or workflows that can help verify this status on the Publisher side? Regards,Rustam

I have had a SPA website running for the last 4 years. Recently, I encountered an issue where the homepage—or any page with child pages—turns blank. After debugging, I found that the SPA's out-of-the-box model.json does not fetch the responsive_grid nodes or the components inside them.To investigate, I copied the homepage and made it independent (i.e., with no child pages), and then tested the model.json response. In this case, it provided the expected output, including both locked and unlocked components. Can someone explain what “on Receive” means and what “chain replication” means in this context?There is no official documentation explaining chain replication, which makes it very confusing.Is anyone using this setting and explain the chain replication thing? Can chain replication cause any performance issues if used on production sites?

so I have initially run the publisher using this command (I'm on Linux using JDK11)java -jar aem-publish-p4503.jarI installed the content and code packages and I can browser the custom pages without any issues. My problem started after I restarted my PC.  To start AEM publish I triedjava -jar aem-publish-p4503.jarcrx-quickstart/bin/start (I had to change the port number as the default is 4502)I tried to browser localhost:4503, but all I get is a 404. I then checked error.log and I don't see any new entries. I encountered something similar when I setup author the first time and the fix was to delete./crx-quickstart/launchpad/config/org/apache/sling/jcr/repoinit/RepositoryInitializer*.configI tried the same trick in my publisher but it does not work. If I start from the beginning again (rm -fr crx-quickstart), AEM will start working again. Any ideas on how to fix or perhaps a workaround?

Hi, I just created my first java model (based on another that works, basically a copy) that has blocked the ability to deploy only ui.apps. If I deploy the whole project, it works just fine, otherwise it brings the cannot find symbol error with the class name I assigned. The model and impl filename appear in the web console here: Adobe Experience Manager Web Console - Sling Adapters and the impl is registered in Bundles. If I change the data-sly-use to an already existing model, it works fine as well. To deploy I use the commands listed here. as above. I am testing something on my local and I am getting the following errors in my logs when the browser tries to fetch some data from a servlet. some info:I am using AEMaaCS jar as my local instance.I am login to my local author in another browser tab.I'm using the fetch Javascript function to call the servlet.When I visit http://localhost:4502/libs/granite/csrf/token.json, I can see the value of token.jsonI tried the same thing using postman (the only extra thing I did in postman is to pass admin/admin in basic auth) and I don't get the same issue.I don't get the same issue when I submit the form that's been published in AEMaaCS.Any ideas? thanks!

Hello,   We are currently on AEM 6.5 and planning Cloud Migration. Noticed that new Cloud onboardings are based on Java 21.   So, if we move to Cloud directly, we would not have Managed Services support for Java 21 migration.   Wondering if we should move Java 21 with 6.5 LTS and then plan for Cloud. Any suggestions? Specially for Assets with Asset Share   Any feedback on challenges faced in Java 21 migration?
