I have a solution implemented that is described here: Moving assets to PIM system - HTTP API the correct choiceFrom a high level I have a custom workflow step that calls an API and sends the assett.  This workflow is triggered from users placing the assets in to a "monitored" directory.  This works fine unless the user drops a large number of files into directory all at once.  Then a random amount of them fail and the failure is socket closed errors when sending the file.  This causes 2 things, it either results in multiple versions of the file sent because even though it gets a socket closed exception the file did actually send or it doesn't send the file at all if it fails on the connect vs the send. Here are the results of some logging:15.01.2025 09:47:38.019 *INFO* [JobHandler: /var/workflow/instances/server1/2024-12-21/publish-to-pim_415:/content/dam/pim/test_10025/SGCO_91070_0520_Cooler_GreyRed_Studio_4 low.jpg/jcr:content/renditions/original] com.cd

I have found documentation that I can nest collections in AEM Assets. Can I do the same thing in Brand Portal? And if so how? I want to be able to do this directly in Brand Portal.  Not create it in AEM Assets and then push it to Brand Portal.

Currently we are integrating the 3rd part integration for which we need to download the dependency from the password protected url. And added password in the cloud manager pipeline variable but still I am getting the 401. Can you help if there is any other configuration we need to do. Thanks in advance !!!

I'd like to create a workflow launcher based on dates. If cq:lastReplicated is newer than cq:lastModified, then kick off the workflow. Is this possible? Hi, We are using AEM cloud and currently I am trying for a way to schedule publishing using postman. I am able to achieve publishing or activate now using local development token but not sure how to schedule for later using postman.  We’re working on a project that requires a new folder to be created under /conf/project2, and we need to grant read permissions (ACL) to all users via code or OSGi configuration.For this use case, do we need to create a new system user with read permissions for the required path?Could you please share a sample implementation to handle this scenario?

Hi, I've recently upgraded my AEM instance on dev environment from 6.5.5 to 6.5.21 and after I've restarted the instance, it's responded with bad gateway 502 on the instance link itself and /system/console/bundles. I have tried checking if there are any invalid indexes and all of them are valid when i checked. Any suggestions on what steps should I take next to mitigate this issue?

Hi, We are using the MessageGatewayService to send custom email notifications within a workflow. I've configured the SMTP details correctly and verified them in the Day CQ Mail Service configuration in ConfigMgr. Before we were using Asset Java APIs to create assets in Java, but it looks like that is deprecated. I saw from another post that we'll need to use aem-upload: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/assets/admin/developer-reference-material-apis#asset-upload I'm confused on how we're supposed to use aem-upload in Java, it doesn't seem to be a Java API. Is it even possible? Appreciate if anyone can include an example I can reference.   

Can we create nodes in the cq dialog at runtime?The requirement is the dialog initially would only have a single dropdown with few fixed fields. So, when an option from the dropdown is selected let's say a value great is selected so when this action happened in the dropdown now it should map the value great to a json which has which component does great map to. Let's say great --- > mapped to "textfield". Now as soon as the backend mapping is done there should be a node created in the same dialog below the dropdown referring to textfield. Can someone help with the approach. we have tried few approaches, but any leads are welcome. TIN 

Hi I am using AEM Cloud. I want to send email notification to owner and one team when an asset version is created. This email template should be from crx/de. How can i include email template in the workflow step and where can i create email template in crx/de? How to make some of the fields configurable in aem wf model ? one more question : Is implementing launcher or creating event is recommended to start the workflow on an event. @arunpatidar 

Hi,I have a requirement to create dynamic URLs that aren't available as pages in AEM. We're generating these URLs from the backend and displaying them on a page. Currently, I've created a page (test-sitemap.html) with a component that includes a "Generate" button. When users click this button, the URLs are created in the Java backend and displayed on the test-sitemap.html page.Now, I need to add these generated URLs to the main sitemap.xml. Could you please help me with the process of linking these URLs to the main sitemap.xml?Thank you!

Hi Community, I am trying to create a graphQl endpoint using the https://www.graphql-java.com/documentation/getting-started/ . So I'll be writing this sample code in Servlet and trying to print the same response {hello=world} using the Servlet endpoint.But when I am adding the dependency, the bundle is never active when I run the core maven build and always fails during the full build.Could you help me with what I am missing here?Thank you,Prince

we need to sort pages alphabetically on for specific folders. I tried to overlay the OOTB path /libs/wcm/core/content/sites/jcr:content/views/column/datasource to /apps but it doesnt seem to work because the sling:resoureType of libs folder path is cq/gui/components/common/wcm/datasources/childpages and i couldnt find this path in my aem.  I tried to add jsp code  here : /apps/cq/gui/components/coral/admin/page/columnitem/columnitem.jsp. we have used this jsp to manipulate the page names and title. But for this requirement this also doesnt seem to work.  can someone help me with this ? 

Hey Everyone, Context: Our team is currently trying to optimally setup a client's project, and we want to create a smooth CI/CD system which will take into account both the development side of contributions as well as the actual content authoring side (client side) of the flow. The tooling and process we're utilizing is as such (see attached screenshot as well of our current infra thinking & layout):- Document/Content Authoring & Asset Management = Sharepoint- Version Control and Development Organization = GitHub- Deployment and CDN = AEMaaCS (were using Edge Delivery) As for utmost safety in a project and to prevent unwanted mistakes, multiple environments should exist ideally. But so far this is understood by our team as such:- Feature branches take in local code changes/pushes- Merge into a Staging branch- Merge into QA or Main from which it goes to a production pipeline- The pipeline is triggered from main- Pipeline deploys to production (.com) site
